Kagawa Japanese Cuisine reviews
70Had dinner with my family last night at Kagawa. Really great service and nice food. Highly recommended grilled Nigiri and beef tataki!
Great chicken katsu pieces but no flavour in the curry sauce and very little of it. Didn't even coat the rice. Not worth the price
There was no problem with the service, everyone was friendly and the tables were clean.
However, the food is just so-so.
The sashimi was alright but it tasted a little unfresh, the agedashi tofu was pretty good, but the ramen - don't order it:/
The pork slices I'm damn sure weren't chashu. Thick tough cuts of meat and noodles swimming in soup.
The noodles were a little soggy, and the soup was ok but didn't taste quite authentic.
Ok meal, not fantastic.
However ok for a quick meal if the other good ones like iori or raijin are closed.
The food has take a severe drop in quality. The miso tastes bland, the soups have shrunk and are blander, the takoyaki tastes like chewy batter.
Kagawa has to be my favourite casual dining Japanese restaurant in Canberra.
The service is amazing, the food is tasty and the prices are reasonable.
Quality ingredients make for a quality dining experience.
Easy to find with plenty of room and a range of parking options nearby, Kagawa is great for lunch or dinner. I look forward to dining there every time I work in Dickson.
Great staff, for a table for two super quick despite how busy it was. Excellent vibe, amazing food
The food was great, once it finally arrived! I think they lost our order so it was over 40 minutes from ordering until our food arrived, but everything was delicious. I really enjoyed the tempura and the agadashi tofu. Staff were friendly and it was inexpensive. Will give it another try in future.
I havent seen a real japanese restaurant in CBR.and it is also one of them. The interior design is ok. Staff are friendly but one girl didnt know what she was serving, what's going on with order. Was not bad compare to other japanese restaurant in cbr. But i would say it is not real japanese food, especially kagawa. (Kagawa is famous for udon)
One more time taste wanst bad but just it is not real japanese food.
Cozy Japanese. Food was great.
Staff nice.
The place is cozy, so on busy nights try booking.
Nice food, friendly staff, have to say the eel roll that I had there was fantastic, katzu don and tori karaage were tasty as always.
Really great restaurant and the food and service were amazing. Highly recommended this place for u. And the price is reasonable and affordable.
Very bad service. I came here about 2pm.but the waitress forget to put our order into the computer. We wait about 20minutes for our food but nothing came to us. After we asked the waitress about that food, she told us we have to wait another 10minutes without any apologies. Then we left with angry. I will never come back to this restaurant again and not recommend!
I dont know if this business was bought by Chinese recently but when you cook food you could do a bit of research and be a little bit more authentic every dish had some thing not right about it. Karaage chicken was more similar to Taiwanese fried chicken which is ok if i was a Taiwanese or Chinese restraunt. The sushi rice its not a matter of cooking rice and just throwing vinager over it. The service I will not comment on as I will be seen as a racist.
Tasty and cheap. While there aren't tons of vegetarian options, what they do have is really good Good selection of sake.
Good place for casual dining going by Peter Dutton's recommendation. Pretty good eel sushi and teriyaki salmon
One of the Oriental gems of Woolley St in Dickson, a consistent moderately tans unpretentious Japanese Restaurant.
Horrible Japanese Food that were cooked by China Chef. The Fried Chicken that I had was very small piece coated qith very very thick Batter. Can't taste the Chicken at all. Was Dry n the sauce on top tasted Weird and Sour. Husband ordered Beef but there were like less than 10 pieces of diced meat on the Plate. It came with a small bowl of steamed rice and cost $14.95.i don't mind paying more if the Food is Good! But this is a Big Mistake. Will NEVER RECOMMEND at all!
This is what you get for a katzu don. Skin fell off and thick. Must have been made a week ago. Very bad.
We love this place! It's one of our favourite restaurants. Lots of delicious dishes and great service!
