If you are Chinese. Don't come here. They are incredibly racist. Once an Inland Revenue Notice of Assessment is issued for the previous financial year, it cannot be changed. I am requesting that the Tax Office send a Notice of Assessment to my current address in Canberra as proof of address as I have currently moved to Canberra. The worker said they could not accept this because the address on my assessment notice was not in Canberra, even though the postal address clearly showed my current physical address in Canberra. My English is not good because I am an immigrant. Very disappointing.

A stressful experience with mixed messaging and multiple people crowding around me and asking me to do multiple things at once, and getting frustrated when I couldn’t maintain three requests at once. Apathetic and continued to hassle me when I became visibly stressed and asked if I could do one thing at a time.

In the end they told me that I couldn’t get what I wanted despite bringing everything I needed because it was in a digital format.

One of the worst experiences ever (over two days mind you). They don’t abide by their own written guides (documents) and come up with random additional requests on the spot to ‘verify you due to increased fraud’. Please. Update your requirements/instructions accordingly so that people (who come prepared!) don’t waste time, petrol, and most importantly - nerves.

Came here to transfer rego under my name and guy named Lewis.just near number 0 there was small line from mechanic on vin number and it was definitely looking 0…he asked me and then I said it’s 0…but after he said no it looks Q…. So just because of that I have to go back to mechanic to fix that and pay for parking again…have seen few previous review’s regarding Lewis…tbh he’s just a waste working here…

One of the staff -Lewis is very rude, aggressive, and racist. He does not have any skills required for customer service. The way how he was talking was terrific and threatening. I was with my wife and 5-year-old son. I was not scared of him but worried about my 4 years son if he get scared of him and everyone was looking at him the way how he was talking with me and my wife. Do not go to this service centre if possible.

People works there gave me wrong information and documentations that’s required, and I have to come back another time, which will be my third time visit…. They are not trained professionally and they have different standard from different people, someone says this is okay, and someone says not, that’s just confusing me and wasting my time….

Hi Canberra access,
Very poor service, if your staff is unqualified then don’t appoint them. Appoint all nationality people so they can understand about name.
Today they mixup my name with someone.
If I didn’t ask then i think no one going to check.
So my question is from ACT, on what basis you are appointing staff.
I came in the morning they said bring another id.i showed aged proof and bank card but they want one more. I went back and Bring passport.
They applied my application and did mistake in address. I stucked fron 1pm to now 4.27 pm
Still waiting.
Very poor service ACT.

Awful customer service; The old lady at the front desk was very rude, racist and condescending. They did not want to listen what I was trying to say. I do not understand why a person of their nature would ever get to greet customers at the first place. Access Canberra should seriously look into treating their customers with respect.

I went to shift my NSW learner licence to ACT learner licence. An old lady came to check the documents. Her behaviour was totally unacceptable. She was too rude to her customer. No customer service should be like that. I didn't have the required documents but she could explain that to me in gentle way. It also seemed a bit racial to me. However, we talked with another young man who behaved nice and explained the procedure in details. Overall, I am not satisfied with the service.

Being asked to wait patiently for a service that's unexpectedly delayed is acceptable. When the service delay is known and ignored causing chronic delays it is not. It's obvious that this service needs to be doubled in capacity now or sooner!

Just can't understand why is it so difficult for access canberra to move major services online like NSW? Just for a simple job like tranferring a car under your name you have to go their, wait in line and be served by rude employees.

All the old ladies are rude and racist. They discriminate and treat people differently by their skin colour Me and my friend has experienced this 2nd time today and I’ve observed it very well. Not recommended at all. Someone higher official should take notice on it. Not a pleasant experience at all.

Every time I have been here, I’ve always witness an older lady staff, speaking to customers coming in - in a condescending and abrupt way, but appears pleasant and helpful to some customers she chooses. In (2) Occassion, I was served by 2 female staff who came across condescending and very abrupt, the older lady did not do her job properly! So I had to travel back, wait in a long queue for the second time so the job can be done properly. Only to be served by another rude staff! Aren’t they public servant? What ever happened to serving customers with Respect, integrity and trustworthiness? No supervision or training to ensure a good customer service are maintained? !

Customer service not clear around proof of residency requirements for converting licence - travelled to the centre and was rejected for something that could have been easily sorted on the phone. Big time waster.

Only if there's 0 star option available. I ran earlier to confirm a service can be processed earlier today, then I traveled 65kms to get there only got told it couldn't be done today provided with all required documents "oh, must be a new staff member still needs training at our call center". Your floor manager is arrogant and useless in customer service, lucky you still have a job only to work for the government. You are a shame treating taxpayers who feed you like trash.

Huge wait lines, terrible phome service they dont even answer. Staff are slow and inefficient. Terrible experience would not reccomended.

10 people waiting in line why the 3 office staff servicing are had a 30 minute personal conversation. With not one care in the world very very unhappy like there other ten people waiting in line
