Great camping spot, excellent amenities, friendly staff. Bit of a hike/drive to beach but lots to explore in the nearby area. We stayed in a tent on a beautiful grassy area. Great playground for kids. Highly recommend burger night (wednesday nights) with live entertainment.

No paper in many of the tolits and no soap in the dispensers of all tolits. Sad way to save money at our expence. Not enough tolits for the amount of vans was noted by all campers I spoke to.

It's all about the food in the restaurant called Yardies Kitchen. Absolutely fantastically delicious with a smile. And a fantastic atmosphere.

The best restaurant food i have had in such a long time. I had the reef & beef my hubby had the ragu beef every mouth full was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much chef your a star and the service was awesome as well. If you dont eat at this restaurant in exmouth you will be missing out. So you can't use a toaster or electric kettle at this cvn park big deal for the price u pay its worth it. Value for money nice people and service. Thank you we will be back.

The yardie homestead restaurant food was great. Highly recommended. Well done chefs (and waitresses) working so hard and producing tasty quality meals.

Good value for money, our side was good, the public kitchen facilitie could be better but for just washing dishes it was ok. We liked it there more than at the RAC Exmouth.

Cool spot to spend your days around Cape Range. Just before the National Park this campsite is a really good option for $32 for an unpowered site (price per place, not per person), good toilets and hot showers, a camp kitchen with a couple of stoves and bbqs and there is even a nice restaurant if you don’t mind spending a bit extra. The reception hours a bit tight (8-10am and 4-6pm) but they leave a sign with the spots open for the night if you arrive late. They reception is also a small store and they even rent snorkel equipment ($15 for the set or $7 for the fins only). It’s a big camping and a good alternative for the usually booked out small campsites in the national park.

We have just had 10 days at yardi. Upon reading some old reviews I called Yardi and had a good chat to Denise and she could not have been more helpful and I made the decision to stay there from that conversation. What a great place. Just outside Nat Park. We have 2 dogs and they had dog sitters to look after our babies while we enjoyed some days in the park. Well done Yardi we will definitely be back

Very disappointed ring got booking for power site at $38 a night you cannot use for kettle or toaster then to top it of put us down near the tents and camp kitchen which was a absolutely the worse camp kitchen I seen just a stove with 4 gas burners that was it. Then when the tour buses come in they take over it and use it as a party room to early hours of the morning and it would be great if there were more lines to hang out washing

Basic amenities, don't believe they had a site kitchen but its been a couple of years. Got given a spot where it was hell windy. Being in a rooftop tent the night was awful. Luckily we didn't stay for too long and used our own shower to wash before heading off into the outback. Not much in the area and the shop on the site doesn't open often - only a couple of hours a day. Make sure you stock your fridges up with meat for your trip or you will be out hunting like the flintstones.

This was my first stay at the homestead due to missing out on a place in the Cape Range NP. I was really happy with the location given it was not that much further to drive to popular snorkel spots but also not too far out of exmouth. I had an unpowered site (as I would have in the NP) and asked for a sunny spot. Reception was friendly and helpful. The park is being expanded so some things are being worked on but the new ablution block is fine (in the style of a portable building) and sites are generous. They sold fuel at a cheaper price to exmouth township and only slightly higher than the self serve in the industrial area. The only thing I missed compared to the sites in the NP was the proximity to the sea.
