Our family and friends enjoyed camping here during the WA day long weekend! An amazing place to stay and lovely people that would really accommodate and make you feel comfortable. Will be back again

My cabin smelt really bad. Not overly expensive which appealed but the smell️
I’m pretty easy going and was going to camp but was a last moment decision. I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Beautiful location with all needed facilities such as toilets, showers, bbq and more to spend a few days in your caravan among an abundance of nature. The location is beautiful and lots of activities for the kids such as fishing, hiking, air mattress jumping. Definitely worth staying here

Very friendly receptionist.
The park itself in date need of a rebuild as renovations will not suffice. The fact that it rained whole night didn't help. The ground got soggy (with potholes full of water), the roads "unwalkable" as the water had no way out (storm water holes are higher than the ground.)
Amenities and camp kitchen outdated too.

Camped near the estuary and very pleasant. The upper section of the park is undergoing renovations and is overcrowded at present.

Staff were lovely, grounds maintained well and area was just beautiful. The reason why I give only 3 stars and not higher, is due to the ammenities needing updating. We have just stayed at this caravan park with our 6 month old baby, and the only available bathing facility was an old tiled tub and it was located in only one the female toilet/showers. A family facility for such families that can be accessible to all parents with small children would be an excellent addition.

I've stayed here a few times now, other than one time where there were some super noisy campers very late at night, it has been a great experience.

I've both camped and stayed in the accommodation, both options are very comfortable (well, depending on your camping set up), their facilities are very good, great for families in particular, but fine if you're a solo camper as well.

The facilities are always very clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. Will be booking again very shortly.

What a beautiful location. The drive down to the Caravan Park is very scenic with the trees, kangaroos and the river on the edge of the park. Thanks for the fire bucket and the staff who couldn't have made us feel any more welcome.

Tracey at reception made us feel very welcome, a lovely friendly lady who has excellent customer service skills. Del and Brett are also friendly and very helpful. We are staying in the Echo A frame which has a wonderful view very scenic, close to the boat ramp and can sleep 6 people. Whilst aged it still provides comfortable accommodation and has a kitchen, TV and DVD player. Very comfortable beds and nice hot shower. Very clean caravan park which has a bouncy cushion for the childrens entertainment. Lots of pelicans and bird life! I can highly recommend Walpole Rest Point Caravan Park.

We loved it at this park! Such a scenic spot and lovely facilities. Right on the waters edge with a little jetty to sit on and admire the view.

A Great place to stay, with the location right on the Walpole inlet, there is an jetty where you throw a line to catch black bream, herring and some whiting, and if you lucky you might get vist from the local stingray. Kayak hire is available from the office as well with bait and basic groceries. I stayed in the A-Frame which a decent sized with one room with double bed as well the bathroom and kitchen, Kitchen was well appointed with most things you need although could have some steak knives and some scissors but not a big deal. Bathrooms is good size the tiles a bit dated but not an issue. The shower had great pressure and hot water. Bathroom could do with a exhaust fan as it does get quiet steamy and can set of the smoke alarm, same if your a cooking the smoke alarm does go off as well. The upstairs has another double bed and two singles with both doubles having and electric blankets. The only issues would people using the up stairs if the person sleeping down stairs is a lite sleeper people moving around upstairs, and going up n down may wake them up. But that what you get in wooden buliding. You do have give the places a clean before you leave to avoid a cleaning fee, but the price you pay it not a major issue. The road leading into the caravan park does have a few potholes that need to be filled in. Been in Walpole its great for day trips to other areas down south, can do wine tours around Denmark, a day trip to Albany to see Gap, Natural Bridge and the Blow holes.

Caravan park is right on the inlet which makes it great for fishing. Has great welcoming staff and they have some lovely big lush green grassy sites.

We are into our 5th week at Rest Point as ‘essential travellers’ caught up in the WA regional boundary closures. We cannot speak highly enough of the park managers Dell and Brett nor assistant managers Tracey and Gary as they have looked after us exceptionally well, always checking up on us and making sure we are comfortable and not in need of anything. The amenities are always clean and the park is naturally beautiful with the bay and national park around it. Thank you. Des and Geoff from Queensland

Nice grass spot near the water, great little place to walk the dogs. Only down point was the so called drive through sites don't really cater for caravans, trees and a tight turn had to reverse 18 ft van.
