Cafe here is lovely, food is great, good variety, reasonably priced, big serves snd nicely presented. Overlooks gardens and has both fans for summer and heaters and cafe blinds for cooler weather. Gift store area is big with large selection of pots and nice displays to give you loads of ideas. Allow lots of time to browse:)

Price not the cheapest but the staff there really helpful:) got nice outdoor playground for kids.

Great little cafe and playground. Then it's nice to wander around the nursery and look at all the flowers and plants. The nursery looks great with a big range of plants and friendly staff.

THE BEST place to go for all your plant and gardening needs.they have bunnings best with their huge range of plants, beautiful products and reasonable prices.even if you're not there to shop, the cafe is a really nice place to eat and it's lovely to just wander through the displays and enjoy the scenery.

Placed a phone order with an extremely helpful and curtious staff member with a special request of delivering my order. This is where I was left very disappointed as I requested certain wrapping paper and pink bow and was assured that they would be able to supply this. However on arrival it was un wrapped and with a very amateurish looking red now.

Met friends for a morning coffee, and our kids had breakfast there.
Breakfast looked and tasted amazing.
Reasonably priced too.
I could not fault the service, I had just sat down and everything started to be served.
Also the cake selection is amazing, I have to say we all said we were coming back again to try something else.

Great lunch and fruity drink. Warm even on a winter's day thanks for heaters. Additional pleasure in looking around garden shop. Plenty of parking spaces.

Waldecks has totally lifted their game and become an absolute stand out garden center. We visited several years ago and were very disappointed by their range but now the store is bursting with plants from shrubs to trees, succulents, indoor plants, designer pots, plant care products, and gifts and accessories. All the plants were lush and lively, well displayed, and at decent prices for the size and quality. Many of the pots are quite expensive but they are often handmade pottery pieces so it does feel justified. We ended up buying some real gems to add to our collection including some variegated Mondo, an adorably small anthurium, and a lush Boston fern.

The addition of the cafe was always a bonus but those cakes? That coffee? Fantastic. The selection of cakes was diverse and different, all looking absolutely scrummy. We asked and the staff member told us they were all locally made and they select cakes from different businesses so that they support local bakers. The coffee was smooth and had a good flavor, with absolutely no aftertaste of burnt beans. I would happily come back just for coffee and cake. You can also bring your fur babies and they have a filtered water tap and bowls so your pup can have a drink, too.

They sell some standout plant care products like the GT Technologies, We the Wild, and HB101 range. And if you’re having a plant problem, I saw a staffer helping someone find an appropriate pesticide using a cutting the customer brought in. So the staff absolutely know what they are doing.

And if you do the social media thing, make sure you follow Waldecks on IG. They put out some hilarious and helpful videos regularly. It’s what made me want to visit again in the first place.

Well, I haven't been here in a couple of years and what a difference! The show room is filled with plants and all things plants and it feels inviting. They have a great selection of pot and plant accessories, and the staff were friendly. I also noticed the cafe has been renovated too and it looks great! They've definitely been following the houseplant trend and have a great selection healthy plants on offer.

Absolutely beautiful nursery with an incredible cafe. If you can’t find what you want here it doesn’t exist.

One of the best nurseries in the Northern suburb. Massive plant selection, that are all very well laid out. Prices are very reasonable and plants are all top quality. Their Cafe is also exceptional offering quick cupped and cake to full meals.

Always enjoy going to Waldecks for breakfast, very enjoyable.
Only complaint was coffee luke warm, sent back but came back the same.

Disappointing, food was way overpriced and very ordinary, cleaning tables was below standard, and service questionable, will not return.

Great venue for breaky with families and kids, it’s busy but the lady’s do an awesome job and the food is good, just not big on the current trend of people who feel the need to bring their dog to a place where we like to enjoy a meal, not everyone likes your mutt hanging around as much as you do.

Compared to Waldecks in Stirling, this was awful. I ordered a quiche and it was 1/3 of the size, if that, of the Stirling store for the same price, and it was awful. Was more crust than quiche, and just tasted awful. The playground and the coffee is the only decent thing there.

This ladies and gentlemen is a $16.50 bacon and egg sandwich, 1 slice of bacon that doesn't cover the bread one egg dried out with no runny yolk or flavour at all really. No sauce on the sandwich or butter just super dry bread, not even butter on the side just nothing and the cook put this on a plate and said yeah that's acceptable, one if the worst breakfast cafes I have been to in my life. My wife enjoyed her Big Breakfast $5 more than my sandwich, so if you still get dragged there after reading this review thats your safest bet.

The menu is plain and boring, the servers are unkempt and whilst not rude they are not the nicest people either short and direct like bringing your food to the table and having to place it down is a chore. It started raining whilst we ate the cafe is open air so all the tables on the edge and the people sitting at them were getting wet, most moved or tried to figure out the cafe blinds themselves as it took about 10 mins for any staff to come and close the blinds.

But hey the playground looked good the kids enjoyed that, but aside from that I can't think of many more positives. This will be my first and last outing to Waldecks Lakeside (there's no lake) cafe.

The Cafe was Very disappointing - Firsty the ladies toilet facilities require attention, no soap to wash hands and the tap does not work so I could not wash my hands. Service was below average, ordered a Bacon and Egg Sandwich, a serve of scones and two coffees. The sandwich came out at least 10 minutes before the coffee and scones. The sandwich was very bland, the coffee was cold and scones average. Definitely won't be going back.
