Vetwest Animal Hospitals Ellenbrook

The team at Vetwest Ellenbrook are extremely caring. My dog is not all that good with people but Dr Mark had her relaxed and happy to cooperate within minutes.

Wonderful staff, very understanding. Our Rottie cut his rear leg and as our local vet was closed (we are 150km away) we rang around to find help. All vets in the surrounding area could not help but after we explained what had happened the receptionist told us to get to them ASAP and they would help our solemate. We cannot fault the service and highly recommend this practice. We plan on using this practice in the future.

I called Vetwest in a panic due to an emergency with my labradoodle. I first spoke to Vicki (from another clinic or phone center I believe) I couldnt be seen at my local Vetwest but Vicki rung around and called me back within a few minutes and advised Ellenbrook Vetwest would be waiting for me. I really appreciated her help and understanding of the urgency of the situation. Daisy was seen straight away and Vet Marc and Kate were extremely kind and explained in detail what needed to be done and the costs involved and made sure I was comfortable with everything. I was kept updated with phone calls along the way with what was found and what they were doing. Thanks to the vets, nurses and ladies at the front for being kind and empathetic in a stressful situation! Daisy is on the mend now.

Such a great experience. After calling asking for appt as soon as possible for my sick cat, they called back within minutes with a cancellation - got her straight in. Patrick was brilliant with Missy - recommended a few tests and confirmed his suspicion of a hyperthyroid problem. Medication on the way now. So relieved and appreciative - from triage to treatment the whole team are great.

A vet my dog actually gets excited to go to (may or may not be because of the treats he gets given!). Caring and friendly. Highly recommend

Fantastic, friendly super accommodating staff. The practise manager and vet Natasha are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and both clearly care about you and your pet needs. Love you guys and cannot recommend you highly enough.

Thank for caring for our German Shepherd recently and being so responsive to an issue in his abdomen. Your quick thinking and surgery help save our boys life. HE is recovering well now with some very neat surgical work. Thank you from our whole family and from Brax.

Really a fantastic team professional and caring I took my dog for a check over as he had an upset tummy over the weekend and they had an appointment available had a look over him took his temperature which was up and he had lost some weight so they suggested further investigations so had a blood test and his blood count was down and he was anemic had some ultrasound and everyone worst nightmare a mass on the ultrasound further xrays and ultrasound revealed a large mass in the spleen and it was bleeding out which was the cause for the anemia we were kept in the picture all the way along and had to make some massive decisions but with the knowledge and information of the staff my boy had surgery to remove the mass it was a huge cancer and had they not took the time to check him over he definitely would not be with us today
So grateful for there patience understanding and professionalism

Took our dog there to have her examined vet seem unwilling to investigate the reason we booked further near $200 bill for a less than 5 minute consult is outrageous and wouldn’t not recommend.

Unbelievable excuses for high prices
I was quoted $1000 to put no more than 3 stitches in my dogs ear, Yes you read that right $1000
I take my dog to Swan Veterinary (use to be known as George’s). Not only did they desex her but put stitches in her ear for $460, this included all antibiotics and pain medication
When I asked Vetwest the reason for the vast price difference, I was told “ we can’t compete with them, I know we use more equipment like a hospital than them” I then stated that Swan Vet operated on their own as Vetwest was a chain,
I am shocked that a business like Vetwest is allowed to take advantage of people when they are at times distraught over their animals welfare
I will definitely never return

Visiting Vetwest is a good experience that was unfortunately spoiled by heavily overpriced medication. We have a wellness plan and it feels like they are making up lost profit by overcharging the medication. Online vet shops like Vetnpetdirect whom we have used before charge up to a quarter of what Vetwest charged us. I guess they can charge what they want as there is no similar to PBS regulation on pet medications.

Other than that a good experience. The vet was very professional and friendly.

This has to be the best veterinary practice I have ever been to. The service from the nurses and vets for the past 5 years has always been so caring and attentive. Our gratitude and appreciation to you all.

Truly the most understanding and compassionate veterinary hospital I've ever attended. The staff make you feel like you're family. I have animals that are difficult to take to a vet but I feel confident every time I attend. Wonderful staff and amazing service. I would highly recommend them.

I went to Vetwest Ellenbrook with my dog having some trouble to walk. The vet didn't show any concerns, examined my old dog for a minute, read the latest medical report then didn't give me any option about making things better. He said either to go to emergency for thousands dollars or put my dog down. I know that my dog is old and having a bit downhill moment, but for the past 1 year he has been having a normal result of blood test with the usual vetwest in midland then had some blood test 2 months ago which wasn't looking good. I am talking about give me as the owner a consent and option to do more check on the dog which i will pay anyway, not just telling 2 hard options and be a lazy vet.

Our Beagle ate some Ratsack. The care and particularly the followup calls over the following few days were fantastic. Thank you Team.

Our elderly cat had decided this was his last day on earth. I rang the clinic when I had got home from work and they spoke to me with such kindness and said although they had clients booked in, they said to come in and they would set us up in a private room to wait for the vet. On arrival they took us straight into a private room with a fur bed and candle burning. They showed such empathy, kindness and understanding for us and our boy. They also organised for our boy to be collected for cremation. Thank you so much for your kindness on what was a extremely sad day for us.

Stuff in this clinic (nurses and Dr Pavel) were attentive to our cat's problem.
They were helpful in rescheduling her appoinment to earlier time wohich was necessary due to worsening of her condition. Dr Pavel examined her thoroughly and we were happy with the visit as well as instructions and value as well.
Clinic is clean, happy place with helpful, professional stuff, and that's what you really want when you have a sick "child", do you?

Such helpful people. My husband was late as he had trouble finding them. But they still saw our dog, even though they were busy The vet was extremely helpful and nice. He gave my husband information that we had never been told before. Our dog has a recurring problem Thank you so much
