Vale Chinese Restaurant reviews
46Impromptu visit that turned out to be a great decision. Friendly and quick service and the food was a 10/10… best Chinese food we have had in a while.
Food used to be top quality and now I ordered way overpriced food to the standard of my dog struggling to find taste buds for the dishes I ordered. Waste of money and quite irritated by it all
Would not waste my money or time at this place. Food was awful, tasteless & we had a big group & alot of dishes, they all had a similar favour & that was none!
For a restaurant with "no toilets is pretty poor, they said you need to go to Baskin & Robin.
First & last time we go there.
We have been ordering out Chinese takeaway from the Vale Chinese for the past 13 years. I’m not sure if ownership’s changed but my most recent experience was terrible. The ordering process was difficult and staff were very sarcastic when I asked why the dish I wanted to order was on their menu but they claimed they’ve never made it. I explained I’d been ordering this dish for years, but they insisted they’ve never made it very sarcastically. When finalising my order settling for something else (thinking maybe I was going mad) the standard of food was appalling. The taste was disgusting and I can’t bear the thought of eating it ever again. Even my dog wouldn’t eat it.
I got one dish and it took a whole hour just for it to come out frozen and the staff told me ‘we ain’t cooking it for you’ and proceeded to have a yelling fit then they kicked me out
Pretty average food for the price. I got delivered chicken chow mein with soft noodles (bit salty) and special fried rice (tasteless and a bit sloppy texture). But staff are friendly
Bought fried keow teow.paid 19 AUD per box.small serve, horrible taste.sesame seed on a fried keow teow.will never go again.
I ordered a satay chicken and steamed rice and it had a cockroach in the rice and I wasn’t game to eat the chicken after total disappointment
Worst salt pepper chicken i ever had.food was bland, little to none salt and pepper. Other dishes were awful aswell and they were not cheap. Better go else where.
Looked this restaurant up, drove out here to taste the cuisine only to find the information on their web page was incorrect and they were closed …….
Ordered via uber eats 07/01/2023 and had the worst food poisoning. 4.3 rating on uber eats is a lie considering here it's 2.7. This place needs to be shut down reading these comments! Absolutely disgusting.
Wouldn't go there again! Food wasn't fresh at all. There was a cockroach on the wall and we couldn't eat our food after seeing the roach lost our appetite
Below average in terms of taste, low in quantity, had better food at hawker centers paying less than half the price.
In the past the food here was pretty awesome so I don’t know what has happened, but tonight’s meal was very much less than ordinary and the leftovers were quickly thrown in the bin. Will be giving this place a miss in the future.
This was the worst Chinese (if you could call it that) I've ever tried to eat. The steamed dim sims were supermarket quality not Chinese Special Fried Rice didn't even look or taste right. Gave it to my dog and he refused to eat it. The Lemon Chicken was bitter and terrible. I don't know how these people stay in business. Don't bother wasting your money. The service friendly so if you like donating money for service then just fo and give them $60 and walk away. We will never go back
SMALL SERVINGS
The food tasted great but the Take away containers are half the size of any other Chinese restaurant. Ordered through Uber eats and it cost me $90 for 4 dishes (one of them was rice) and a spring rolls. I was pretty happy to pay that until I realised they are half serves. The satay beef had minimal actual beef in it and was mainly sauce and onion.
Good food, a little pricey but highly recommend the chilli beef, sweat & sour pork & lemon chicken
A bit pricey but the food was good. Honey chicken and special fried rice was yummy. Lovely girl at the counter. Will order again for sure.
Orderd 3 dishes for $60 dollars if I new the quality I wouldn't have paid half of this for the food. I don't normally leave reviews but this was highly disappointing. Will never order again
We ordered from here yesterday 17/07/2021.
We spent $101.96.
Myself my partner and my 3 children have been vomiting etc since ate it.
The fried rice.tasted like it had been sitting in a fridge for 2 weeks, it's was all disgusting we gave about $80 worth to our dogs.they didn't even want to eat it.
I will never buy from here again and if you don't want to be vomiting or sitting on a toilet for an hour i wouldn't either ill be getting my money back.
