Vale Chinese Restaurant reviews
46Impromptu visit that turned out to be a great decision. Friendly and quick service and the food was a 10/10… best Chinese food we have had in a while.
Fantastic Beef chilly - tender, flavoursome and with a nice bite! The squid pepper was also fresh and light. Definitely deserving of a better rating and a show of love for our local Chinese restaurant
I always order Garlic Chicken with Fried rice and never disappoint. Freshly cooked veggies and tender meat. Thank you!
Just picked up our order and so happy. Food smells amazing and customer service was 11/10. Thank you so much
I had dinnner delivered from Vale Chinese tonight.ordered Singapore Noodles and Special Fried Rice.
Both dishes were excellent - hot, tasty, great flavour and generous portion sizes
Notably, the prawns in the dishes were huge, and there was a good number of them. The ratio of meat and vegetables to noodles and rice, were generous too.
Would definitely order here again
Good food, a little pricey but highly recommend the chilli beef, sweat & sour pork & lemon chicken
A bit pricey but the food was good. Honey chicken and special fried rice was yummy. Lovely girl at the counter. Will order again for sure.
Had a great meal to celebrate Chinese New Year. Food was good. Enjoyed the spring rolls and the satay sauce on the satay chicken was yum. Service was excellent and the staff lovely and attentive. Will go again.
Had takeaway on a Tuesday night. Fantastic food. Great variety of fresh veges, flavoursome sauces, plenty of meat. Best chinese I've had for a long time and I've had lots. I guess it depends on the chef who's on. Thanks VIcki.
Not the best place to eat dim sum or Chinese food, but the service is top notch compare to other Chinese styled restaurants, helpful and friendly.
Food wise, things are pretty dry and you can't really call them fresh, as I said the service is nice, so I am OK with that, I would come back again but I would like to eat something better because it's just not as good as other Chinese styled restaurants, still I like the service here better.
Ordered off uber eats. There is no information on what is in any of the food options. I ordered the satay beef where they display a picture of satay beef WITH a portion of rice. I received my meal and there was no rice. That’s fine if they had anything saying no rice in the description but they had nothing. So I’m currently cooking rice as my meal goes cold. I’m giving two stars only for the pure fact that the satay beef was delicious even though the beef is very soggy and has a weird texture.
Customer service is simply atrocious. I was 40 cent short of $25 to be eligible to pay by eftpos. I suggested adding 40 cents to my bill, they flat out refuse and forces me instead to pay for an additional $5 dish.
Contacted in advance for quick food pick up. The restaurant did not process the order till I arrive. If you want to try this restaurant try Uber it does have a minimum otherwise avoid.
This used to be good but my last visit was very disappointing. The food had a expired smell to it and when we told them, they replaced it only to have the same problem. They said their fridge broke down that's why the smell. So why on earth would you serve this to customers? The owner lady was not even apologetic when we were making payment. I would highly recommend NOT coming here. Many other options that are way better.
Went there for tim sum.
Not worth the price for the quality of food served.
Not fresh.
Sadly the worst Chinese I have had. (Honey chicken & spring rolls)
When giving feedback they were totally ignorant about the issue and have no customer service etiquette.
Terrible. After my last visit, it completely lost my faith for this place to improve. Despite of not charging the spoiled food that they continued to serve, they have really bad customer service whereby the old lady will still remain unfriendly to the customer after serving spoiled food.
Pretty average food for the price. I got delivered chicken chow mein with soft noodles (bit salty) and special fried rice (tasteless and a bit sloppy texture). But staff are friendly
Below average in terms of taste, low in quantity, had better food at hawker centers paying less than half the price.
SMALL SERVINGS
The food tasted great but the Take away containers are half the size of any other Chinese restaurant. Ordered through Uber eats and it cost me $90 for 4 dishes (one of them was rice) and a spring rolls. I was pretty happy to pay that until I realised they are half serves. The satay beef had minimal actual beef in it and was mainly sauce and onion.
Food used to be top quality and now I ordered way overpriced food to the standard of my dog struggling to find taste buds for the dishes I ordered. Waste of money and quite irritated by it all
