Ultra Tune Carlisle

These guys quoted a 72 year old pensioner 1500 to change front cv joints on a 95 magna wagon (has steering wobble/feedback issue). Had it for a day and a half too to do that quote. Then upped the quote upon her return. Doesn't sound right? Make sure you read and consider carefully before getting any work done.

Fantastic customer service from new owner, Tony and his manager, John. Latest equipment and professional service without being taken advantage of like other places I've been.

I brought the car for oil change and an AC recharge. They called me asking my permission to change the tyres to some Chinese brand (mine were premium 6 months old, with full threat) along with a list of BS for a total of 1500$? ! Which I proceeded to say no to. Then when picking up the car I was charged 650 $ assuming there was a problem with the AC, compressor maybe. Nope, They only changed the oil nothing else and told me to come back later to pay more and do the rest, since a 150$ oil change evolved into 650 $ giving me bs as adjusting hand break (a screw behind the hand break, I did not need it or wanted it). I had to take my car to another mechanic a week later. Stay away.

Had a slow leak in my tyre, John and his team were super helpful and very fast. Really appreciated their help and input!

Enjoyed dealing with John again. He runs a very professional shop and would definitely recommend Ultra Tune Carlisle.

WARNING! Based on my awful experience with Ultra Tune Carsisle, I would strongly advise you to research & find an alternative. My dealings with them were nothing but trouble, and gouging every last cent they could out of me!

The staff were very attentive once we had arrived but the phone call that I made earlier as to whether there was a band playing that night was deceiving. I would hardly call one person lip-syncing and puppet playing her guitar to a pre recorded music a BAND! The girl playing and singing had to stop halfway through her song to rearrange her hat and hair however the guitar kept on playing even though her hands were no longer on it. It was at this point in time that I realised that she wasn't even singing the music either and that it was all prerecorded. Shame on Como Hotel allowing for such a person to be considered as a musician!
I ordered the children's fish and chips which the fish was burnt, dry and the chips had half a tonne of salt on them. I was not prepared to pay anything to such a disgusting meal. To which the staff apologized for but it should never happened in the first place leaving me to go home and prepare a meal as I will still hungry after I had been out for the dinner that was an edible and that was not replaced by the hotel with an edible meal as it should have been, apologies are great but they did'nt solve any of the problems. I will not be returning to the Como Hotel for a meal or for any entertainment I don't feel that they're not quite hitting the mark even though their staff are extraordinarily trained in apologizing.

We’ve been taking our car there for years! Always friendly and helpful service. Good prices and quick turn around.

Fixed my tyre and didn’t charge me, have since had my car serviced there, good workmanship, fixed a bunch of things the Subaru dealership had overlooked. Good price and found the staff very helpful.

Dropped in Monday morning with a puncture, the boys had me repaired and fitted straight away and back on the road.

Awesome customer service I phoned earlier this week as my work van needed a service was told no as they were fully booked at first then a few moments later their other mechanic said he would come in on his day off to do the service also the price was totally right definitely would be back

Dropped the car off in a broken state. 5 days later later picked it up in the same broken state it was and paying few hundred dollars for absolutely nothing after they claim they've fixed the mechanical side of it. Had to get it towed as it was not drivable (after claiming they've got it working) Extremely unprofessional and poor service. Biggest mistake was taking it there in the first place. Disgrace to all mechanics. Will be taking this matter to ACCC.

Customer Service and workmanship of the highest caliber! I highly recommend the team at Ultra Tune Carlisle. After having a bad experience with a different car servicing company I booked my car in with Ultra Tune, and I am so happy I did. Not only was it affordable, John made it all so easy. He communicated with me throughout the whole process, explaining everything in detail and answering all of my questions. Could not be more grateful!

Booked my car in due to the oil light flicking in and off. Car ended up needing extensive repairs. John and the team kept me informed throughout the 2 week process and were fantastic to deal with, including helping me out with a loan car on the weekends. Thanks so much guys, it did cost a lot but it will keep running for many more years and I have peace of mind that you are putting customers first.

Friendly and efficient service and very good communication regarding what needs to be undertaken during the service.

My wife was a bit panic as other driver yelled at her that the brake light didn’t work. She stopped by at Ultra Tune, they fixed it within 10 minutes for FREE! Can’t thank them enough

They fixed my puncture within minutes and didnt put me at the end of a queue of much longer jobs.

Went to put my suitcase in the car to drive 550km home and noticed a nearly flat tyre with a screw in it. Rolled into Ultra tune, fixed on the spot with a lovely man saying drive safely home, no charge, happy Easter. You guys are awesome, generous, kind and had me home by the time the kangaroos like to jump out at you. Thank you so much and have a great Easter break.

They took my car in same day for fixing exhaust leak, got the job done within a few hours despite being busy and for a reasonable price too. Staff was friendly as well!

On Leaving Park Central car park noticed I had picked up a nail in my rear tyre all I could think was goodness I am unsure if I even know how to change a tyre, drove as quickly as I could to Auto service was met in the parking lot by a very friendly young man who assisted me immediately fixed the problem at no charge, 35 degrees lying on the hot bitumen.this is service second to none Thank you very much indeed.
