Was recently caught up in some covid border drama that scuttled our plans to relocate a van to Melbourne. After explaining the situation to customer service they couldn't have been nicer or more understanding. Both head office and the Perth branch were so lovely. Not my last time using TA that's for sure! We love using the vans, it's an amazing way to see the state. Cheers again team.

Great value, great service, reliable and comfortable little van, (chubby). Had everything I needed for a great two weeks away. Lewis and Telea were a very helpful (and very cheerful) check in/out team!:)

Will definitely use again!

Talea and the sales team have been more than helpful in a smooth pick up and sales process, however the attitude of “customer service” is poor.

We reported that after three days on the road there is an apparent rodent nest in the vehicle. Droppings. Urine. Chewed personal equipment. Visually sighting the rodents in the vehicle but unable to locate their nest under the interior and fascia! We left it three days to call just incase it was an isolated one night incident - a reasonable assessment and timeframe -before raising concerns - however after three days and nights of being crawled on and cleaning droppings and urine we have given up trying to locate the nest and have been forced to find alternate sleeping accomodation.

We reported this to Sam in customer service who alluded that being a budget rate vehicle it is to be expected although in his experience highly unusual. After pushing the issue for health and hygiene concerns I was told to buy a trap and deal with it and if a nest was present on returning the vehicle after the hire period I would be reimbursed for the traps. After further expressing concerns and stating I would leave the vehicle for them to arrange a third party to inspect locally on site so I could continue my short vacation uninterrupted with a three day window for them to be able to get a third party to site to inspect it I was told to “be an adult about the situation” and work with the team - that being said the “team” haven’t returned my calls or followed up with a in appropriate course of action or what to expect happens next as a resolve.

On concluding the call I merely asked a reasonable time frame on when to expect a call back so I could make alternate sleeping arrangements and have feedback that the customer service being received was poor to be told I was “ridiculous” and hung up on - this is all from the CS rep whom I have since found out is head of customer service! I’m a little dumbfounded by this slightly dismissive and very rude customer service and at a complete loss what to do with another 8 days left in this vehicle in remote WA.

Whilst I appreciate the vehicle is a little older the condition is fair and clean although aged - however I have never in my years of hiring any vehicle for touring come across a rodent nest issue inside a vehicle that was adequately maintained nor have I been spoken to in such a rude manner for reporting an issue.

Very disappointing to hire a vehicle to be self sufficient to only have to then book accomodation due to a lack of customer service compassion and follow up and had left a sour note on our short vacation.

Customer service is really awesome from Telea and LewisHired a camper for 8 days went up North then down south no problems at all with the campervan. Look forward to coming back again, thoroughly enjoyed my trip

It was an awesome trip with Travellers Autobarn.
Great service with lots of information, if you have any problems, just call them or write an email, you will got help very fast.
Thanks to Lewis, he’s a great guy, helped us a lot with the campervan. Very professional service and always polite and helpful.
I really appreciate, thank you so much.

The trip was so good that I extended it two times. And If I would have had more time, I would definitely spend at least another two month in that van. I only had the smaller camper, but still it was very comfy and I had a lot space. The bed was actually quite comfy, much better then I expected.

Highly recommended campervan company.
I would definitely book here again.

We were made to pay $400 for a window that came off our Hi5 campervan during our trip while we were driving. This was after paying $30 a day for "full insurance". We were only told after arriving back that this didn't actually cover the hitop windows - "everything except the roof". Looking through my emails I was never sent a copy of the terms and conditions, and certainly wasn't given a chance to read it before signing on the day we picked it up. We were told that the window had "just been replaced" so clearly there had been issues with these windows previously. The person serving us essentially threatened to also charge us for the other window, which when we went to look at the van, also wasn't working properly (it had worked throughout the trip). In the end I paid the $400, partly because of this threat and partly because the serviceperson refused to send the bill to me in writing and said I would be contravening the terms of the conditions that I had signed if I didn't pay immediately.

I regret paying it on the spot and will be contacting the customer service line to see if I can get it back, or at least complain about what happened. I found the serviceperson to be quite abrupt and unempathetic during this whole encounter, despite telling me he "didn't like this either". We felt blamed for what was, in our view, a faulty part (or two) that we did nothing to cause damage to.

A really horrible end to what was a great trip up the WA coast.

Such a fantastic experience - we had the best holiday driving up the West Coast. Check-in was a breeze check out was different as COVID lockdown was going on at the time.

Just hired a campervan from Travellers Autobarn and travelled through Margaret river! Was an absolute pleasure right from the start to the finish. Lewis helped me set up and go and was a gem about it - making sure my van was extra clean and ready to hit the road! Highly recommend Autobarn for your campervan needs and travels! Won’t disappoint!

I did 8 days in the Chubby van down South WA and had a great experience with Travellers Autobarn in Perth! I originally emailed the general Travellers Autobarn email to see if they had any auto vans left and they said they were all booked out. Thankfully, I called the Perth branch and someone told me on the phone that they could arrange an auto. Awesome customer service from the outset!

I had no issues with the van, it was a bit older (still good value for someone on a budget!) but very easy to drive. The mattress was super comfortable and the kitchen had everything I needed.

The whole experience with Travellers Autobarn was great. Lewis was super friendly and helpful - he clearly loves his job and is great at it as a result. I’d definitely return!

Telea was awesome! We hit an emu and she handled our problem fast and fairly inexpensively, her customer service was outstanding! She even gave great travel and accommodation recommendations. Would highly recommend booking a travellers van with her.

The whole Travellers Autobarn experience was impeccable! Lewis and Teleah in Perth are terrific and so welcoming and informative. Very helpful with all info re the van and the trip, as well as understanding around special requests. The campervan itself is brilliant - providing all the facilities and comfort to make the road trip a memorable one. The bed is super comfy, kitchen decked out with anything you might need and the van ran great - never had an issue and clocked thousands of k's over 2 weeks. Can't wait until the next road trip with TA

My children and I enjoyed a most fantastic campervan experience. I hired a Kuga Toyota Hitop for 12 days and drove 4000kms. It went like a dream. The staff at Welshpool are helpful, very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

Hired a hightop campervan for 27 days. Telea at the Welshpool office was fantastic and very helpful and answered all our queries. Travellers Autobarn also keep in touch by email. We reported a couple of small breakages during our travels and they were always answered promptly by email.

Great way to travel. Highly recommend and thanks Telea your enthusiasm for your business is a credit.

Took a two week trip in WA north west first time in a campervan.we fell in love with our van! The team were great getting us off on our way and answering our many questions.would certainly do it again and with Autobarn for sure, Thanks Teleah and Lewis

Fantastic service from the welshpool branch, both check-in and check-out staff were a credit to the organisation. We were lucky enough to get upgraded to a newer automatic camper which made our trip perfect! We paid extra for the 'no stress' insurance and it was worth every cent!

Awful, I forgot a pair of sneakers in the van and they pretended send them to me, charging the amount of the parcel and they never send them. I am still sending emails two months later and none reply
