The York Hotel Kalgoorlie

Food and service was good but the air conditioners in the main restaurant were not working. Upstairs on the balcony was full.

Dinner with a friend. I ordered the lamb, she ordered the pork, they both arrived on an identical bed of vegetables. I found the flavour to be quite average, but not bad. Staff were friendly and happy to resolve an issue I had.

Nice enough bar, but they charged me $13 for a pint of Little Creatures. Think I’ll move up road next beer.

Good place to go for dinner. Very nice, historic hotel, great balcony, friendly staff and good food. I recommend sitting upstairs (downstairs/inside isn't too comfortable) and ordering some "classic" food. Best steak we had in a while.

Absolute best service. Food was amazing and full of flavour. Got too busy enjoying food to take pics. Highly recommend 12/10

Rat in the rooms, poisoned dinner, I went to the hospital with the ambulance, even with an allergic reaction. The owner is very grumpy and rude.
Very friendly staff.
The inaccessible pool with all the things hanging out and sacks on the ground.
The dog that cried out all night.
The services outside the hotel are cold.
Never again an experience like this.

Excellent front bar setting with a plethora of memorabilia hung on the walls filling the space with an experienced for the eyes. Great service and food, well recommended.

Super friendly staff, food was good and large sizes, great seating on the balcony overlooking the main street of Kalgoorlie. Chef could probably do with a new grill to get the mallard reaction happening on the steak a little more, but ordered medium and got medium which is uncommon at the best of times.

Stopped in for lunch, great atmosphere with all the sport memorabilia. The upstairs dining is somthing too see as well. Very impressed with a nacho pizza!

Character building with central location, 10 minutes walk from the train station, excellent value, spotless rooms with every air con, tea /coffee /fridge and TV, Shared bathrooms were spotless and clean. Continental breakfast included with daily room rate. Pool at the rear of building, , Bars and restaurant excellent and affordable.

We both enjoyed a lovely lunch on the upstairs balcony. Started with brushetta which was sooo yummy and my partner followed with the beef and pepper pie and i had the rissoles dish. All wonderful! We especially recommend the French bar girl Kim who never stopped whizzing here and whizzing there, multi tasking. Great employee.

Worldly. Had A League on instead of AFL. That's embarrassing. Waitress had the hospitality of a wet sponge. Still, I love the place.

First time I travel here in Kalgoorlie-Boulder with my wife May. How incredible a oldie hotel, classical decoration, well maintained and friendly service. Welcome you guys to visit this hotel and pub. -Zong

Amazing food and at a reasonable price. Brought the Sweet Potato Wedges for $15 and this is what they brought out, a stunning dish!
Staff are nice and friendly. Will be coming back again.

We are two couples from Busselton. From the moment we walked into The York, we knew we had chosen the best place for dinner! The young lady at the bar was so welcoming & friendly, it made us feel quite at home! We had dinner at the restaurant within The York, Restaurant 259. What a wonderful experience it was. Again full marks to Maria, our waiter person. Such a friendly and caring young lady. The food was exceptional. We each agreed that each dish we chose, was indeed, worth 10/10. Well done The York.
