The Spaniard reviews
50Our food was frozen. Not well heated. Service was good.platters were not all that I felt like I was having stale cheeses being a cheese lover.overall wouldn't go there again
They initially forgot our order. Then, they brought us the wrong order. Finally, they missed part of our order.
Never again.
Went there for New Year's Eve? Great value, great drinks and great music. Staff were friendly and efficient. Will have to visit another time
Ordered several dishes and they were all amazing! The squid paella is a personal favourite as it is rich with flavour and is very delicious! I also enjoyed hamon which also tasted really good. The service was top notch! The Columbian waitress who served us clearly knows what to suggest and is very accomodating and hands-on to the the customers.
The ambiance was also lovely and very chill. The music’s not too loud — it’s actually soothing.
Anyone who’s reading this review should not think twice. This is the perfect place to be if you want to indulge in great food and quality service from the staff. We would definitely come back!
First time eating at The Spaniard and I will definitively be back. We ordered almost all the tapas available and they were all great. I went with three Aussie male friends that can eat a lot and they all loved it and left the restaurant full and satisfied. The gin tonics are also nice, served in balloon glasses (not so common to find here). The staff were really nice, Jennifer made sure we had everything we needed, friendly and very helpful whilst also providing us with the space to enjoy our dinner. In summary, great tapas and lovely evening.
Nice place to go with friends for drinks and bites.
I found the food quite average. The other Mexican restaurants I tried in Perth had better quality food, but it was ok. Friendly staff and nice cocktails.
Unreliable. I had booked this place a month in advance and only 3 days before my birthday event they notified me that they cancelled my booking! When I emailed expressing my disappointment and how hard it would be to then find another venue to accomodate, I didn't even receive a response back let a lone an apology. I have dined here a couple of times before and find the staff to be unattentative and unhelpful. Food is good but service is not.
Highly recommend it! I'm spanish myself and loved the flavpurs. Very authentic! We had a colombian waitress who was very friendly and helpful. We will be back!
Great atmosphere and tasty food. Barman even made us up a mocktail that wasn't on the menu since we weren't drinking. Good selection of tapas.
Bloody brilliant, great food, great service a fantastic hidden gem.
This is the jug of sangria (nearly finished) really tasty and good value.
