The Spaniard reviews
50Amazing food in a thoughtfully, but not pretentiously, decorated venue. I’ll be back like a Terminator to demolish more delicious tapas!
Food is as good as It was at the old location. Cant go wrong with real paella and some sangria. New restaurant has great atmosphere, comfortable and cosy.
This restaurant could not be faulted 5/5! Every dish and every cocktail was worthy of 5 ️’s, the service and wait time was second to none. I to was apprehensive about this place due to previous reviews, but do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a night out at The Spaniard you won’t be disappointed!
Came for happy hour to be told they don't do the happy hour on the cocktails. I waited a while to be served due to another function. To hard not so friendly and felt like I should not be asking what is the Happy Hour include even though they advertised it on the door to get business.
This is just what Northbridge needs a wonderful Spanish restaurant. The food was fantastic, especially the chicken parfait at the cheeseboard was ample. This was followed by a light crispy Spanish wine recommended by the waitress, who was absolutely fantastic. The place has a splendid ambience of the staff and management are very knowledgeable, and helpful, I would recommend this place hands down
Great place for a Christmas work do!
Me and my team came here and Ben the manager organised it so well! The food was spot on and delicious!
The service was fast and friendly! Very happy with my experience x
Amazing little place, food was delish and the G&T I ordered was huge!
We ordered 3 drinks, 3 tapas and a paella to share and left with very happy tummys and wallets.
The young lady that served us was fun and helpful. Overall impeccable service. Highly recommend this place
Was excited to try out this place but was really disappointed with the welcome we received. Three couples, over 40, looking for a nice pkace for a drink and something to eat, told we needed to move on in 20 minutes, no explanation and when asked if there was a problem told we were rude and aggressive, guy in charge needs to have a serious look at himself, would never go back or recommend, plenty of other places in Perth, give this one a miss
Great little spot. Open later than most and every tapas dish is delicious! Very warm and personal service too.
We have been there for twice With my boyfriend and never disappointed by the cocktails and food (very nice to share), gracias:)
The best brussel sprouts I have ever eaten in my life oh my god. The chef is an actual genius, like how, HOW, are they so good.
Beautiful modern ambient mood and decor straight through the door, refined but relaxed. Fun and attentive waitstaff add to the slick experience which just builds from one delicious course to the next. Croquettes were the standout in a field of standout dishes but everything was sensational and when paired with good company and delightful drinks it’s a recipe for a memorable experience. Highly recommend.
Hidden away down an alley this restaurant does great spanish themed food with a relaxed ambiance.
A fantastic wee place, tucked away in Wolf Lane. Fun decor, friendly staff, fabulous tapas and delicious cocktails. Definitely recommend.
Lovely food and drinks, shame the service wasn't up to its usual high standards on Saturday night.
My partner and I ended up in this nice restaurant where we had good food and drinks. The service was perfect, the venue was also very pleasant to the eyes.
We enjoyed our time in the Spaniard, but the down-point was the music. It was very loud to start with, and the choice of commercial spanish auto-tuned music was not really matching the general atmosphere of an intimate moment you're supposed to spend with people.
I would come back for the food, hoping some evolution on that front!
I went on weeknight with a group of six. Really friendly atmosphere on arrival and presented a great option of essentially “bottomless” tapas. The food was amazing and perfect for the type of vibe we were after on the night. Sangria was refreshing and quick to arrive at the table. No time limit on the booking (which meant we could settle in and enjoy worry-free). A bit hard to find the restaurant in the city but definitely worth the search.
Found this place while strolling for a bite prior to a movie. Lovely décor and vibe. My wife and I very much enjoyed our food, we had the chicken liver pate, patatas bravas, the chorizo and broccolini. Everything was cooked extremely well and very tasty. The price is lower than what i would have expected. Going back in a fortnight and looking forward to it.
I started with the Gingerbread martini and all I'm going to say about that is WOW! Our choice of main was the seafood paella. The paella had a golden colour with a delicious assortment of seafood. It had a rich full-bodied flavour that had us digging deep to find that crusty caramelised bottom. The subtle smokiness added that extra bit of flavour - sensational. We finished off with not a dessert, but with a chef's recommendation, the Caramelised Pork Belly with Apple a d fennel salad. If you like melt in your mouth moments, then this is one.delicious! This place has never disappointed, and the service has been nothing but wonderful. Cait has always made every visit that little more special for us, and the chef.brilliant.see you soon!
