Really cool Reception Lady Terese, very welcoming. Complimentary light breakfast. Pet friendly, air con cabins. Nice bbq area here too. Worth the stop!

Our hosts Therese and Lee couldn’t have looked after us more. They made our family of 5 welcome late at night and went out of their way to help us with our car problems. The Railway has a very special feel - it has amazing Art Deco features that have been restored with style. The art and decor make this place unique and special. The rooms are large and clean with hotel standard beds. You just won’t get a stay like this many other places.

I loved it as it was home away from home. Teresa made me feel welcomed and anything I needed she would accommodate. Love the atmosphere from the retro furniture & open fire to historical architect. I also like to support small businesses.highly recommend for everyone who needs a place to stay to try out the Railway

Don't be fooled by the old worldly charm of this motel, the rooms are 2 star at best. We had an ensuite room only to discover the hot water ran out after one shower. One of us had to walk around to the other side of this large spralling motel to use a dirty shared bathroom which I needed shower thongs.the staff were not overly friendly and although there was help yourself continental breakfast, we decided to go to the BP servo for a lovely bacon and egg breaky.

Glorious warm days and clear skys as halleys debris shines over east as an extra sun, art deco in the west, jets con trails overhead like a sliver bullet heading west.

Really great atmosphere, lovely garden, helpful and generous welcome. Self serve breakfast allowed us to make proper plunger coffee!

Just an overnight stay for me but super friendly reception. Clean, modern well kept room, free wi-fi and BEST AIRCON this side of the border

Fabulous place beds are awesome and they have dog friendly Motel units, our dog loved being in with us, as usually we have to leave her in the car, such good value lovely people and we even got breakfast included goodluck

I've stayed here 3 times now and every time has been wonderful. If you are crossing the Nullabor or simply travelling around WA this is a place to stay. It is so very different to most places and in a great way. It has lots of character and the owner is lovely. I'll be staying here again.

From the outside nothing would indicate it wasn't a unused run down building.however rooms are clean and tidy, thou upstairs are the better rooms with spa and no elevator. Bed was comfortable decor was simple but tasteful.biggest downfall for us was no place to put bags to get into them easily. No place to hang much up no wardrobe

This place needs work but i loved it. Stayed in a cabin with my family. Simple but just what we needed for a fair price. Lovely owner very helpful.

Built in 1939, this beautiful motel has endless nooks and crannies to explore. It brings back the elegance of yesteryear, we loved it

This guesthouse is lovely. It’s run by warm, welcoming staff, who are lovingly restoring the building to its former Art Deco glory. The rooms aren’t fancy, they’re simple, but thoroughly clean and warm. The breakfast bar is a very nice touch for every guest to enjoy in the lovely open dining room, with cosy wood fire. Thanks for having us.
