The Quarie Bar & Brasserie

A family lunch to catch-up before Xmas was spoilt by the loud TV’s showing wrestling, I did ask if it could be turned down & staff did come back to say it had been turned down, but U couldn’t tell the difference Most of the tables near us were families like us catching up for a chat & not interested in watching TV, The food & service was excellent, but in saying that would not be in any rush to return to an atmosphere like that

Wife ordered a rump steak well done, son ordered medium well, I ordered the Thursday night special ribs. Wife and sons steaks was medium rare. 1 meal was refunded as it was too rare. Son was happy and the ribs were amazing for the price. One thing I could not get was all the No Smoking sign in the beer garden and yet a number of smokers were seen (unseen) by staff.
Staff help was pretty good

Nice surroundings and a good menu, but you've nothing you haven't seen before. Ordered 4 meals and 4 entrees none were terrible, nor none were outstanding. Pricing is reasonable which matches the service. There is nothing bad to say about this venue, but nothing is outstanding either. Good family environment except for smoking area adjacent to the outside tables, not ideal. Whole experience was rather vanilla.

Nice place for a drink and a good feed great service and food was very nice with a good selection.

Asked for extra mushroom sauce on our steak. Dish served swimming in sauce plus a cute little cup on the side with more mushroom sauce in it. Can you be more patronising and insulting? The plates look like grub. We’ve been there before and ordered same so we know it wasn’t supposed to be served like that. Fact that it’s bn weeks and only now posting this shows how traumatising that was. What’s wrong with you?

We had lunch on Saturday (3 adults and 2 children), and everyone was happy with their meals, reasonable prices, fantastic service even though they were super busy.
I was very grateful to the gentleman that went out of his way to check with the chef for all the allergies one child at our table has.
Although an hour from home, we will all be returning as often as possible.

After being told to sit out side when there were clearly tables available inside our Group was attacked by mosquitoes to the point we wanted to leave before our food arrived. Once it arrived we hadn’t even finished half our meal when we decided enough was enough after asking your staff for takeaway containers we were told you don’t do takeaway containers? Wow definitely know where not to return! Horrible and wasn’t cheap either

Just had worst experience here was ignored mostly and once we had gotten our meals were stood over like we didn't belong/wanted there.

Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff with quick service. But disappointing menu if you are Vegan. The menu offers vegan options but they take the easy option of removing non-vegan ingredients and not adding an alternative. How hard is it to replace the beef in the Warm Beef Thai with Tofu. I also had the Bruchetta which was served with shaved parmesan which I had to send back and the alternative was no cheese alternative at all. Very overpowered by the balsamic dressing.
The vegan Nachos were so bland without a cheese substitute. May as well not offer it as the Vegan option. And you still end up paying tull price.

One of the worst dinners I have ever had. This place should be ashamed with the food they are currently serving.
Parmi was burnt, would have been better off getting a frozen one from coles. The Thai red curry? Take it off the menu it tasted like water? Now the kids pasta? WOWEE $12 for a bowl of pasta with no sauce? Such a shame as it’s close to home but I’d rather travel 45 minutes then to ever come to this place again.

Generally a good place to have a beer. Wouldn't hurt the bar staff to smile every now and then.

The Quarie was OK. Staff were friendly, however, the fish always tastes a bit old. Would go back for a drink but could think of other places to go for food.

Lovely clean and new venue.on arrival greeted by unsmiling FOH staff, although by end of a large group lunch we actually got a smile Food was average and online menu needs to be updated.

The place is nice, plenty of parking and good selection of drinks. Staff are also friendly, how the food is average. I'm not sure if it's the same chef from years back but the quality of food has become poor. We paid $23 for the prawn and scallop entree and this dish was literally 4 mini prawns and tiny scallops. Arancini was also meh. I think they need to update the menu and hire a new chef because for the price you pay, we expect better!

Short staffed today so bit slow with the coffees.
Staff friendly and effecient. My bruchestta was hard to eat Tomato was tough

Went with a few mates for a couple of quiet ones and lunch. Ordered our meals which came to our numbered table "burgers" they arrived at the table with chips, not knowing that they didn't come with chips, however the waitress came to the table to make us pay for the mistake of the chips. Paid for then to clear the air because it was absolutely ridiculous, anyway went outside to take a call and come back to the table been cleared.didn't get to even eat them. What sort of service is this to get patrons to pay for the mistake then don't even give then time to eat it.

Very nice building and pleasant ambience. The food is nothing spectacular.
Staff are quite efficient with no stand - out personalities.
Prices are. Let's just say, I am out of touch!

The food was very good. Unfortunately the Kitchen were let down by their Front of House Team, who mixed up orders, both drinks and desserts.
It begs the question - do they regularly do this? Therefore indirectly inducing the customer to order more?
Will not be dining there again

Had a fun night here with friends, participated in the quiz, and had a delicious strawberry mojito and some lovely chips.

Don't bother with this place.bar staff are always slow and surly and the food is sub par. Don't order the (way overpriced) share plate as it's all just cheap packet rubbish out of the freezer.
