The Norfolk Hotel reviews
71I’m sorry but $20 for a cheese burger the size of a whopper junior and a handful of chips? Though it was tasty, it was far too small for the price paid. And $9 for a bowl of chips? !? Add to this three patrons who insisted on yelling every 5 minutes or so at the top of their lungs to draw attention to themselves and no staff asked them to reign it in (this was on a relatively quiet Thursday night) and that’s strike three. So long Norfolk. It’s been real.
Lovely atmosphere, always have great background music. Friendly bar staff. Really like their wine selection and good food. Dress code can be casual or dressy but always smart.
Awesome pub, never disappointed. Always greated with a smile and the marinated sardines are the best. My son had the cheeseburger and said it was delicious. The pizzas were perfecto. We went Sunday and was greated at the door by a very friendly gentleman. It's the small things that make a great pub.
We went here a week ago, having fun with the music and drinks. The food was so delicious and atmosphere was so terrific. The staff were very friendly. Good for weekend plans with friends and food on the weekdays with family.
Lots of choice to drink from the bar and bbq beef brisket and chicken is the best. Staff is friendly and overall good place and good people
A great venue with very good food and excellent service but completely let down by very poor servicing of the toilets. They were in a disgusting condition and there was little the very busy bar staff could do about. Shame that a fantastic venue is let down by a simple cleaning procedure.
Years of drinking here aside, I had to write a review after our casual meal tasted almost fine dining. Chicken burger and BBQ Chicken pizza done so well, so tasty, it was on another level.how can this salad be so cheap? Perfectly balanced and dressed.well done.looking forward to trying more on your menu.
Large space in central Fremantle but it somehow stays cozy and congenial.
Good selection of beers and great pizzas.
There's a restaurant section too.
Staff are very friendly but food is average or below. Taste is bland, lack seasoning and the sauces are not so good.
It is a nice place if you want to have a good and relaxed time though.
I was with a group of older people who were a little disappointed at the menu as they were looking for more of a meal rather than burgers and pizza Took a while for the dessert to be served
Staff were friendly
Love the plants in the beer garden
Tried for hours to book a table online, website that doesn't work says to ring when you ring a message tells you to go online. Left two messages and got no response. Went there at, 5pm and guy at door asks if we have reservations, I explained situation and told him we had family inside already waiting for us and he let us in. We ordered food and got it quite quickly. My advice to those in charge if you are got to rely on automation Make Sure It Works.
I had the BEST PASTA OF MY LIFE HERE.i am still thinking about it.their pork ragu or tagliatelle i forgot the name of it but oh my god.and the spicy marg, get me back here ASAP.also great vibes very happening place
Friendly staff and great beer garden. Meals were tasty but a little small for the price. Pictured cheese burger and beef ragu.
A friend and I enjoyed a couple of early pints last Wednesday. The beer and the service was first class. But what impressed me even more was the wonderful nature with which the male and female staff greeted a group of senior citizens who visited for lunch. We'll done.
I love this pub but the last two times I have been in here I have not been notified that it was closing. I have been allowed to purchase a new round of drinks and told almost immediately that the 10 min rule is in place and have to down my drinks and leave. This is really not on, you should let people know when you’re about to close so they can make a choice. It’s irresponsible.
Terrible service just because we had eskateboards. It wasn’t blocking anyone’s way, as we were standing them up against the wall. Got told to put all our $2k boards in a carpark out the back, which in Freo is already dodgy as it is. No customers were complaining about us. In fact, they were more curious and asking us questions. I even made a reservation too, knowing we are a big group.
What’s annoying is we’ve been there before a few times and you were perfectly fine having them near us.
You’ve lost 15 customers and more with word of mouth as we are a very big community. We won’t be back.
Had dinner here it was great food a beautiful out door area to sit and eat it was very casual and relaxing.the staff are fantastic too, on the ball and great to chat to.if you over that way drop in and grab a pint and something to eat.you will enjoy yourself that's for sure.
We arrived late after a long drive. Staff were helpful, polite, friendly. Our room was spotless as was the shared bathroom. A complimentary drink for both of us was offered at the bar. Fantastic location and great cafe across the road for breakfast!
Great place to catch up with a few friends and have a drink and eats, so many different places in the establishment to chill out.
Where do I start. Super friendly bar and waiting staff, extensive tap beer selection, crispy chips, fresh garlic pizza and great outdoor seating. What more could you ask for. The rest of the menu looked great too
