The Ming Restaurant

Had a sit down meal the other day, meals were great, hot and in a timely manner.
Not cheap, but no Chinese is. They were happy to box our leftovers for us to take home.

Made a phone order and was told the wait would be 25 min. 75 minutes later with my family member still waiting at the Ming then asked to cancel the order. Hostess hurried away and by this time I called them to cancel the order aswell and they said we are just giving him food now and rudely hung up on me.horrible customer service. Honesty is all that is required. Be upfront about your wait times and if you get delayed.well you took my number for a reason.will never be going back here! Boycott this place if you want you food at a reasonable time and if you value decent and honest customer service.

Nice restaurant but your young staff of Friday night girls are extraordinary! So polite and sweet! Deserve a tip!

Wonderful service from our waiter, who let us know when we ordered a third glass of wine that we could save a couple of bucks by buying the bottle, which we could take home. He was quick, warm and attentive throughout our meal. Steak with black bean sauce was absolutely delicious and the satay chicken was tender and lovely.

Garlic lamb was delish! Young staff delivered great service. Older lady owner perhaps needs to be friendlier. Barely smiles when we go there. Reasonable pricing. Fast service, nice atmosphere.

We absolutely looove The Ming Restaurant! I am gluten, dairy, soy AND coconut intolerant and they will still manage to cook me up classic delicious dishes, excluding these ingredients, specially for me. Food tastes amazing and there has never been a long wait time. One time we had an issue and they quickly resolved with great customer service. Would definitely recommend!

Meals came out one at a time, all finished eating by time last dish came out thinking they had forgot it.

Father's Day take away was yummo, we love the sweet & sour pork, honey chicken, Ming fried rice, seaweed rolls, spring rolls, prawn crackers. Our local restaurant for take away and dine in.

After tonight it's the last straw, I will not be coming back to the ming to dine in, pre ordered the Peking duck and was bitterly disappointed. It took two hours to get to the third course and after the first two courses being ok, the chef's special duck dish was served cold and tasted horrible.

We go there every time its a birthday or wedding anniversary, for the last seven years, and every time our food was top notch. Awesome service and the best food.

Pleasant and efficient staff, great food and range (standard choices plus extras), a little pricey compared to some others, but better quality.

Waited 15 minutes to be served, didn't even get offered to order a drink or an appetizer. Went with my husband and our toddler, there wasn't many people there and 3 waitresses. We left without even trying any food, I wanted it to be our new local. Probs won't be.

Amazing restaurant. One of the best Chinese restaurants in Perth. If you haven't been here you must visit it at least once.

OMG! Never again. Ordered takeaway and was told there was a 30 min wait. Arrived and there were 12 people waiting for their takeaway. 1 hour 20 mins later. Honesty would have been the best policy. Food was OK, some cold, some hot, will not return.

The food was good and served relatively timely. Service was a bit curt and slow even though the restaurant was not busy. We brought two kids under four and crayons and paper were provided and they were made to feel welcome. Prices were good ranging from $15-$36 for entreés.

Always such quality food. Very fresh and lots of flavour. Impressed with how much quality meat is in the dishes including the fried rice. Our favourites are beef black bean, satay chicken and mongolian lamb.

We love this restaurant which we have been patronising since it opened about 10 yrs ago.
It has a delightful ambience and the food is delicious. Staff is helpful and always willing to please.
Can particularly recommend the take away which is swift with generous serves.

Pleasant old school Australian style Chinese restaurant. The food is well cooked and fresh but is a little on the bland side flavour-wise.

Nice surroundings with quality management and staff.

To be fair I am not a big Chinese food fan though, I prefer Indian or Thai.
It was fresh though. Crunchy vegetables etc.

Bought a variety of meals tonight 2/11/2018, very ordinary and very bland, the meals were lacking flavour, really not nice. I have purchased before and I wont go back.
