I went here with a small group of friends. Great atmosphere. Good food, great beer selection, and spirits if thats your thing.

Great food and service. Best on week nights. A bit rowdy on weekends. Needs to make its mind up on what the venue is trying to be. Getting better all the time though. Highly recommended.

Perfect daily specials. Great food and great staff. Kombucha Brew and sirloin steak is my go to. A Fremantle gem.

I have to say the bar tender named "Kean" provided a friendly and possibly one of the best services i have ever recieved at any pub in Australia.

The local is a great spot for drinks or dinner. A good mix of options either sitting out the front, at the bar or out the back in the beer graden in a family friendly environment. Love going to the local as it has a good selection of beers and some good food.

Good service, good food, noisy atmosphere so chat difficult. Tables a little cramped with poor walking space between them. Was disappointed that a common spirit, Southern Comfort was not available.

Normally presented and good service, instead this morning all we got was very rude service and lied to would not recomend for a breakfast option

We stopped here Saturday night and hung out in the wine bar section for a friends farewell. The bar service was excellent, never waited very long for a drink. The lady on bar was so nice, explained to her that i was vegetarian and she took the time to go thru the menu with me and point out which menu items were vegetarian or have meat easily omitted. I appreciated this. I also appreciated that i was allowed to order a kids meal (even though i am an adult) because i only wanted something small/medium, not a large dish. Some places restrict this option if you arent a child. Use of paper straws was a nice touch for environmental efforts. Drinks seemed to be priced in line with or even slightly better than average for this area. Thank you, we will be back.

Fish and chips were tasty. Fish had a nice crunch and i substituted the chips with paprika potatoes.

Staff and service was great behind the bar and collecting glasses and plates. Food was very nice! Would visit again.

Stopped by for breakfast lat Saturday. Unusual to find pubs doing brekkie, but hey nice if it serves interesting food too. Good breakfast menu and a brunch menu from 11am gives you a good range. Good coffee too.

Had a wonderful family birthday dinner tonight! The Duck salad was amazing and a great selection of beers on tap! Ryan behind the bar was particularly exceptional in his quality of service! With an inviting ambience and a comforting care once inside, my old bones recommend The Local highly!

Good atmosphere throughout the hotel on a Saturday night. I attended a private party in the large back room which is a pretty good venue for a casual event. It could perhaps use a little more seating.

Great location and great food but not alot of parking around but that can be overlooked because of the great atmosphere and food and the staff are super friendly

Nice vibrant atmosphere. However, food was overpriced, would pay $10 maximum for the burger not $20, tables were sticky, service was very slow and they ran out of wine glasses. A place this popular needs to be prepared to provide quality service and food or decrease their prices dramatically.

Medium rare steak served barely pink. All meals were cold. Burger buns were soggy. And we waited 40mins for our meals.
No apology for the meal coming out late.
Dont get the steak and mushrooms. You only get a spoon full of mushrooms its f all.
Would not recommend.

Food awesome, atmosphere great, drinks fab, staff fantastic. Ladies toilet a bit grotty and no paper.

Location was pleasant, with good seating and atmosphere both inside and outside. Food was standard pub food, pretty overpriced.
