The Local Hotel reviews
59Stayed for a week here with family (2A+2K) hired 3 rooms. Was pretty central, relaxed and would recommend if your kids are teenagers. Room Decor pretty cool.
Been looking forward to trying The Local for sometime but they don't let dogs in so ended up across the road at Percy Flints and had a great meal and cheap drinks, fantastic night in the end.
Really good pub meals in a lovely old pub in South Fremantle. Friendly staff and efficient service. Enjoyed the drinks special of mulled wine.
Good vibe, nice selection on tap, food was good, will be back; possibly often. The Red Ale was delicious and went well with the lamb ragout pasta.
Recommend a visit if nearby.
Fantastic we went there on a Saturday evening Great vibe, don't go there if you don't like crowds, because it was packed
Service at the bar was average at best. Nothing worse than waiting patiently only after a lengthy wait to be ignored. If you can't keep track.how about asking whose next!
These guys are awesome they let hold our quite soccer windup with no worries thank you very much been way to much in the making
Gorgeous rooms and shared bathroom very nice. We live about 35 min from Fremantle so for the occasional treat we go out for dinner and a few wine and stay here!
Fantastic friendly staff who made us a special vegan meal as the menu wasn't suitable to us and it was amazing! Thank you so much definitely recommend and i will be back!
Local by name, local by nature. This grand old Lady of a pub has a very relaxed elegant feel about it. It harks back to a time gone by when the local pub was a communal epicenter. More than just a place for drinking and eating. It's retained its yesteryear ambience.by that I mean more than beautiful architecture and deco. The staff are suitably friendly and casual, the entertainment is diverse in a quirky Freo manner. Local beer and meal deals means you just have to give it a go.
Best cheese platter (& value for money) in the southern hemisphere. Always lovely staff, always friendly vibe

Yeah the food was good but I’m here to talk about the service of one bar member, Albert.
Old bro just just like a hammer, he nails it every time.
Great attitude and professional, thank-you for serving us.
Lovely historical old building lots of character. Lots of different areas to sit and eat and drink. Lunch was very enjoyable too. We will definitely go back.

One of the best hotel/pubs in Fremantle.
Very good food and a beer selection.
Staff are on the ball with service.
The venue has a great feel and relaxed atmosphere along with an eclectic mix of customers from all walks of life.
