Great service and food. It's really improved over the last couple of years. Great local pub, great locals, relaxed vibes with beautiful views of the Swan river

Recommended to us by friends; it lived up to its positive reputation. Great food (lunch), good-sized serves, excellent friendly service. Very good value. Will be returning:)

We had a really lovely lunch at the Karalee on Preston yesterday.
Our favourite go to is the Steak Sandwich …. Absolutely delicious.
We want to give a shout out to Sandi. He was fabulous from start to finish. He really looked after us…and made us feel very special.
We will definitely be back.

What we love and really enjoy about the Karalee, and we've been coming here for years, is it's consistency, the high level of service, the food, everything. It's is our go to for a nice night out.

Good value pub with excellent customer service. Particular mention to Tamara who efficiently found room for my table of nine when I stuffed up the booking, Very professional and charming service which got me out of an awkward predicament on a busy night. We dined on lamb chops, grilled Barramundi and pasta Gamberi and all were excellent value and flavour. Highly recommended gastro pub.

Has become a regular favourite for our family. Excellent steak sandwich, good rotating “guest” beers on tap and generous sized kids meals. Service is relaxed and friendly.

First time visit, very accommodating with order. Food was very tasty, good variety and excellent service from the staff

So not worth its price, got korean chicken lollipop for $16 and we literally got 4 pieces of chicken and it looked like someone ate pieces of it on its way to our table. Waitresses seem uninterested in serving us. Such a pity as their beer selection is great.

Great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic. My wife had the garlic prawns with basmati rice and I had bangers and mash. Both were very good.

The Karalee is just your average pub with average grub and average service. Nothing about our meal was magnificent. The menu and the decor is stuck in the 80s (think bruschetta, surf n turf, garlic prawns) and it's all just fairly sub-standard fare.not awful but not award-winning. You could make half the menu at home if you could be bothered. We came here tonight after 20+ years thinking the place had improved because of all the good reviews. The only thing that seems to have definitely changed is the prices.

Friendly bar staff is always a great start. We shared a steak sandwich and it’s as good as they say. The chips are good too. I’m just sorry we didn’t get a photo, too hungry to wait.
I like that you can walk in and grab a table, order drinks and food when you are ready and it’s all reasonably priced

Have always liked this pub and their steak sandwich is still numero uno despite some brisket creation beating them in 2022. Good selection of beers on tap but a little disappointed they have dropped Rogers even though it is still on the menu. Service is good but a little confusing with a mix of table service or counter ordering. First they wanted to take our order then they didn't, you can't have it both ways guys.

One of the Best steak sandwiches in the game for sure! This is a very friendly place whether you’re planning to eat in or take out. I’ll admit I haven’t had much from the menu simply because they have a banging steak sandwich and I find myself ordering that repeatedly. The staff have always been friendly and the restaurant has a great vibe. Great drinks on tap and awesome bottlo next door if you need a drink for later. Definitely worth a shot for their steak sandwich! I’m sure they have other things on the menu that are good but just have yet to try them.

The one star reviews are clearly fakes. Why are they trying to kill your business? Response from management is needed as these will really turn people off that haven't visited your excellent venue before

I can not recommend the Karalee on Preston and the manager Aaron highly enough. Although they were very very busy Aaron found us a perfect table for 2 even though we did not book.the service was impeccable. Prompt polite and top class.great value for money in a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you so much.we are from the country and will definitely come again

Very noisy pub. Food was over priced and were very small portions. We had the linguini pasta and my husband had to order a second meal because of its small size (he doesn't eat that much). There was also a 45 minute wait on our meal. I think they're under new management going off previous posts, and it's really starting to show: (

The karalee once was a winner, but not anymore!

Terrible slow service (we waited 1 hour for our meal) and I'm suspecting sketchy hygiene being run by foreigners, because I had severe food poisoning after having the prawns here. I won't be coming back!
