62I bought a laptop from Good Guys Rockingham 3 weeks ago. At the time I was persuaded by the salesperson to buy Microsoft Office Home and Student for $199. When I tried to activate it the product key was unreadable. I contacted Microsoft support who after 3 weeks of emails, sending files of proof of purchase told me to go back to the retailer! Which I did today. Not so Good Guys were totally dismissive of me. Said I had to speak to a manager, who was on the phone, and she didn't even look around to acknowledge me. I was told very abruptly to stand and wait. Which I did for a while, but as I use a stick to walk with I wasn't able to stand for long. No seat was offered so I had to leave. Am disgusted at the way I have been treated!
We went to the store interested to buy a soundbar and was originally served by Abhi. He was rude, lazy, had no knowledge of soundbars given it is his assigned area to manage and delivered poor customer service. Firstly, we asked him to check if a jbl soundbar was in stock (the system showed 3 left in stock). He went to briefly look on the floor and advised us there was no stock left in the store which was rather odd. We then asked if he can help us call other good guys stores to check for stock (which is a standard form of customer service) & he immediately refused to do this for us claiming even if other stores showed stock left in the system it could also be a potential error. We again asked him to possibly call the O'Connor store given it is closer to our house and he again refused to help us making the same excuse. Following this, he directed us to consider a samsung sound bar that was on sale and when we asked him what the difference was between the jbl and samsung model he stated the obvious saying the jbl model will be superseded and that is the only information he was able to provide on the product. He was completely useless, showed no initiative to help us and is clearly terrible at sales. At this point we had no choice but to find a new staff member that could provide helpful advice. When Abhi saw my mum talk to another staff member, he rudely claimed "are you looking to be served by me or another person? Then rudely stormed off". We were then served by Christopher who was so incredibly helpful. He was friendly, approachable, provided excellent product comparison information and also managed to find stock of the original jbl soundbar we wanted, Abhi falsely advised us there was no stock. Thanks Christopher for the lovely service, if it wasn't for you your company would have lost a sale due to Abhi who I need to restate is arrogant and useless who doesnt deserve a job in sales and is probably a large contributor to loss in sales revenue which I believe top management should be aware of. Customers don't deserve to be treated like this from guys like Abhi and I would think twice before extending his employment or offering any type of bonus to him.
Waited for 10 minds. 4 people passed me and they're obviously not interested in my business. DISAPPOINTING
Good news I went to JB HiFi and spent my money there. So GoodGuys Rockingham, there are other better guys
Took awhile to get service but they sort of knew what I wanted. Went back and ordered dishwasher. Quick and easy service.
The new Good Guys store is huge with very impressive stock! Very friendly helpful staff offering amazing customer service. Top job.
Went there to get my blender replaced after it became faulty, still under warranty. Waited 30 minutes in line because they were short staffed. When I get there one the lady said they they are too busy and can't process returns today. So I went there a few days later, they checked the product waited another 30 minutes for them to do that so I ended up getting told that they can't replace the product it has to be sent off for repairment which will take a few weeks to come back. They could have told me that in the first minute. I wasn't interested in sending the product off for repairment I use the blender on a daily bases and don't have the time to wait around. Never buying anything from the so called "GOOD GUYS" ever again.
First time in the new location. Afrer wandering around lost looking for a specific item with interaction with 1 realively blunt staff member in the mobile section, i found Rebecca who was an absolute gem! Amd helped me in all departments i needed, Even helped me carry it all to my car which is not something that happens often anymore.
Will definitely return to deal with her more often!
Great range, friendly service and very competitive pricing. Purchased a number of items and was able to obtain next day delivery which was excellent.
Brian was fantastic helping me out at short notice with delivery of washing machine and take away of old one!
Jamie B and Kerry and Talia were exceptional. Kerry went above and beyond. Good old country service like the old days. Most happy to shop here again, highly recommend this store.

Poor communication, flat out lying and not refunding money back when cancelling an order.

Went to new rockingham store staff members attitude made us cancel order and go elsewhere for products, if they dont know something shrugging shoulder's and attitude towards customer isnt way to keep repeat customer lost our business
Today my partner and I went to your new Rockingham store, we were looking at buying a new fridge, were there for roughly 20 minutes and not once were we approached by any staff member and noticed numerous staff were standing around chin wagging obviously you don't value our custom so we'll take it elsewhere
Ordered a $300 heater click and collect and had to call them 4 hours later to find out what is going on and they couldn't find the stock. A phonecall within the 1 hour Click and collect time would have been nice to know you didn't have it so I could have organised something else. No immediate credit so I am out of pocket too for the next how ever many business days.
I will never use the good guys again for anything. I was given terrible service and no solutions to fix their mess.

In short: Abysmal Service. Went to Good Guys Rockingham on a non busy weekday at 3: 30pm. There were maximum 5 different customer in the large warehouse and staff members scattered all over the place. I checked online to see the if appliance was available at this branch beforehand and went to the section the minute I arrived there. Saw the display item and waited for a salesperson to come by. Made eye contact with several sales person but they looked away before I could wave my hand to indicate I need someone. A sales person is with another customer told me "won't be a minute" then went away. Waited another 20 mins and was told there is no stock. I left and went to another Good Guys branch and was greeted the first 10 seconds and a minute later I walked out with my goods. I would give GG Rockingham branch zero stars if I could.
Bit sad, came in asked for help with white goods pretty much was fobbed off not good ended up walking out was pretty keen to purchase but no!
I like the shop good range of stock just dont like the sales team approach of as soon as you walk through the door they pounce like used car salesman trying to be your best mate.boy have I got a deal for you sir.
I love the GOOD Guys. Today I bought a new fridge, Brian at Rockingham was fabulous. He went out of his way to suggest some options, and I ended up with a fabulous Samsung Fridge. Very happy indeed
Very helpfull and most staff have there area of expertise and are good salespeople. Some of the check out staff need a personality.
