73The Good Guys O'Connor's store did not want to match Harvey Normans price or even do better on price by a few dollars. Their attitude was as though they didn't need my business. So I went the next day to Harvey Norman and gave them the business. I will not be shopping there again. They lost out on a big sale as well as all the extras bought.
This place is awful. I will not shop here or any good guys franchise again. Why you ask? Because online ordering should be easy. Just place the order, then go fetch. Not here though.
I place an order online at 10am, drop in at 2pm and nobody knows about it. They give me a number to call, at which the person says they will send an email to somebody else. I get an email at 3pm saying the order is being processed. I call at 4 to ask about it. Nobody knows where the order is or which store it went to.
The person on the phone offers to send an email to find out where it went but that I won't be able to find out until the next day. She then advises me that I should have just bought in-store if I didn't want these sort of issues.
Thanks for the stress and the huge waste of my time.
Had an issue with a phone I bought in Canberra, service was unreal and feats my problem and got me a new phone, great job very happy
I've been happy with The Good Guys on every visit, happy with the service, happy with the products, happy with the bonuses that come with choosing concierge warranty.
Service was friendly.
Bit disappointed they didn't have air cooler I wanted.
So I tried else where.
But they did have alot of air con and normal fan and fan towers, but none that you put water in them lefted.
They said they had them on order for maybe next week or so.
I have been to the good guys 3x this week and have been served by mark, I can not talk highly enough about this staff member, he knew everything.he was fast, efficient and very knowledgeable in every area in the shops. Thank you mark for being amazing.

Obviously they don't want your business. Went looking for a portable air con was there 15 to 20 minutes no one came to help. The women chatting to each other behind the counter didnt even respond when i asked for assistance. Walked out the store went around the corner to retravision had someone help me within 1 minute and the item i bought was $50cheaper so won out in the end.
The salesman appeared to work with me to get the best deal. I am having to wait an indeterminate period of time for delivery as there are none of the item in the state and no other retailer stocks it!
I want to thank you for the excellent customer service I received today, especially from Irwin who spent ages with me helping to setup my newly purchased computer. I am most appreciative and impressed.
Very awkward space to pull into. Nearly miss it everytime. Needs more awareness of when to turn in. Other then that, good.
Went to pick up my online order at store. During the transaction at the service counter. One of the staff went up to the counter asking questions to the one who was serving me at the time. Ended up had me waiting until they finished the conversation. I mean come on? ! That just show they don't treat customer as no. 1 priority. No apologies whatsoever no thank you nothing. They don't deserve to be competitive with Harvey Norman.
Pretty inconsistent customer service. The staff member who sold us our coffee machine a few months back was amazing, I wish I remembered her name but she was a super star!
Tech staff weren't so helpful and the returns process was very complex, I waited around in the area they told me to wait while 3 staff stood around the TVs chatting. Was offered a refund for the product without discussing any other options as I wanted to find an alternative.
Have had good experiences here in the past, but their interest in customer service has definitely declined. Wish I had spent my money elsewhere.
I waited for ages for a salesman to finish discussing everything under the sun from holidays to dogs they liked with a customer. He saw me waiting for information about a vacuum cleaner but continued talking. I eventually got the box off the shelf and pushed it to the front checkout. Completely disgusted with him. A lovely lady assistant helped me carry the box to my car. She was the only good thing about this while experience. If not for her, I'd give the whole experience a 0.
DO NOT BUY FROM GOOD GUYS O'CONNOR - Not happy at all! Their staff training is terrible and this is where they lack the customer service. To top off the bad experience with ordering, because we collected the goods in store, we would not get a refund. I have had to send an email to manager to request. This should not have gone this far. I didn't receive the service, so it should be refunded. Waste of our time. We will NEVER utilise The Good Guys O'Connor ever again for anything! There are plenty of other stores supplying the same goods with exceptional customer service.
Went to Store (O'Connor) knowing what I wanted and stood round in the area and waited 10 minutes for service which did not materialize. As I was about to walk out of the store and go elsewhere a lady approached me with an offer of help. I might add that she had served 2 other customers who were before me but standing some 10 metres from me was a group of 5 salespersons to busy talking among themselves and showing no interest in wanting to serve customers. Extremely poor service, but I got what I wanted (finally) a good price
Ordered online and order never arrived. When I called the store they said they'd cancelled the order and another store was shipping it. I called the other store and they hadn't received my order. It wouldn't have bothered me as much if any if the people I spoke to were helpful but they really weren't. Still don't know if I'm going to receive it. Not good
Called at 9.30 on a wed. Still saying that the store was closed finally got through, the person on the phone was so grumpy and unhelpful. Would not order anything from them anymore.
