66 This was the store that made me stop buying from The Good Guys altogether. Such atrocious service with absolutely no empathy for the problems of their customers (problems they caused!) They were happy to keep my money, but not to hand over the product I had ordered. Ended up having to put in a refund, which could take up to ten days, which meant I didn’t have the item I needed, plus if I reordered it, it would no longer be on sale.
Ended up buying it somewhere else entirely and haven’t shopped at any Good Guys store since.
Absolutely disappointed with their customer service.
Gave them a vacuum to repair in warranty. They told it will take maximum 2 weeks to repair and get back to me. Called them after 2 weeks and they say it is in transit and will be in store any day. More than a week gone by after that and it didn't come back in store. I checked with their supplier in the end who told me it has been packed and in their warehouse, ready to pick up since few days but no one has come and picked yet.
All that week I was repeatedly told that It is in transit and coming today or tomorrow and what not, whereas in reality it was sitting in their supplier warehouse.
Poor communication, lack of courtesy and disappointing customer service.
Good store usually buy from there but this time ended up going elsewhere as a very pushy sales person.
Great store for anything electrical. Bought a new curling wand for my mum. In n out in less than 10 mins.
Went to Malaga store to buy Coffee maching. Sev was extremely helpful and went above and beyond. Extremely happy will keep returning.
I'm really sorry I could've given you 5 stars but I gave you 1 star stars because I have come to your store twice but I was highly disappointed and felt I wasted my time coming, Sorry again.
We went in for a new fridge and that is what we bought. No hassle, very helpful staff. Paid for it and collected it straight away from the warehouse around the back. No problems, all done in less than an hour. They are the Good Guys.
Came in yesterday with my Partner, purchased a Dyson V10 Vacuum. Jaco was just phenomenal. His product knowledge, customer service and overall presentation was excellent. Would highly recommend. Wasn't pushy at all, was confident and honest in his recommendations. A top employee which is very rare to find in retail. I am a little hesitant with the battery technology Dyson use, but fingers crossed for at least 5 years life to make it worth the $$$
Told me an bonus offer couldn’t be done when others had gotten it at other Good Guys outlet, then after I brought it up to them, they said okay but then called me a few days later to say sorry we’re not getting the stock in anymore. But others online have gotten it just over the weekend. Very unwilling and sulky customer service.
Worst customer service ever.never going back, you can offer me something good and I will still never go back, your sales people have their mind in the gutter.would not recomended these guys
Very below par customer service. Have been trying to contact someone in the store about a laptop I've paid a deposit on. No one knows what's going on. Was Supposed to be coming from another store nearby but they can't tell where it is etc. Keep getting passed on to different people and waiting on hold until no-one answers the phone and then having to go through it all again. Would have bought from the other store had I have known the wait time.

They have a Bosch oven on special, so I called Malaga since all stores close by do not have it in stock. I was told that no store currently have any stock of the model (they probably never had any in the first place). Apparently I can order it but there will be a delivery charge of some $35 odd dollars. All I wanted was to go and pick one up, but that's apparently out of the question. I ended up googling the model and found one interstate $9 cheaper, plus no postage. Saved myself over $40! Have to say that I had a similar experience going into the shop to look at computers and found that a lot of the ones on display were actually not available.
Bought whitegoods and small items from these guys. All good, no hassles. Helpful young people powering this store.
Waited 15 minutes to get customer service to buy a fridge. Other customers were also waiting. Gave up and left. No wonder retail is stores are struggling. Will be buying online.
Pathetic service, Pathetic Floor Staff
It took them 1 hour to just return my item.
First they made me feel as if i am lying and then thankfully the unit i bought started failing again.
Therafter a wait of 1 hour just to get it authorised.
Eventually i had a GO at them
The staff member with that massive beard was an absolute BOGAN. (what a disgrace to Good Guys)
Not sure how he got that job
The Manager Corey then came in who i would say contained the situation very well and showed great respect
I wish he could train his staff member a bit more on customer service and not to laze around what they are doing
Their customer service use to be awesome a few years ago but not any more
What is happening!
An example of extremely poor customer service.
I placed an online order after hours. I ordered Click and Collect from Malaga because it was one of the few stores that had this item in stock. The order confirmation advised I would be contacted to pick up the item within 2 business hours. The next morning at 11.30am I still had not received an e-mail so phoned up Malaga and the staff member advised they were sorting something out and would give me a call back shortly. I didn't receive a call back so at 2.30pm I called. I was advised they have to order the stock from supplier and won't find out the delivery date until they make the purchase order (2 business days later). So my item may not come in for a few weeks but I won't actually know that for 2 business days. This is too long of a wait, I could have driven to another store to pick up the item, I only used Click and Collect because Malaga had stock.
I've asked for a refund and was advised I won't receive the refund until mid next week due to it being a paypal purchase because they process Paypal refunds weekly!
I asked who I can escalate this with to have it sorted quicker and was advised to e-mail the store. I still have not received a response, or even confirmation that my order has been cancelled.
I am out of pocket $130 and don't have my order and can not go out and purchase one until next week.
The assistant JACO's customer service was the best I've ever had in a long time! I drove from the city, instead of department store to purchase a Kitchen Aid, with his expertise knowledge, I am a very happy customer! He was polite and very helpful all the way to the car! He deserves a pay rise! Thankyou Jaco
Went in and was able to buy exactly what I wanted, friendly and efficient cashier, not hassled by sales staff, excellent!
Service was excellent - attentive, informative and not afraid to find out the answer to our question instead of making something up. This is how service should always be. Thank you!
Always easy to deal with. Large range of items and always some well priced specials. Worth a visit!
