The Crooked Carrot reviews
70 Nice grounds BUT waited in line 5mins for a takeaway coffee then another 22mins before I received it. Pity that the service hasnt kept up with their success.

The Crooked Carrot blew my mind at the amount of work they have put into the playground, the old cars and trams, the plane and old tractors being made as garden features. Loved it. Ohh and the food is omg amazing. Definitely worth a stop past if you ate travelling through.
Lovely place to visit with the kids. We were there for a party. The food platters were delicious and the coffee was really great!
Only issue - the flies! There were sooooo many!
Great food, freshly made and used vegetables and eggs from site. Huge play area for the children and plenty of shaded seating. Lovely gift shop to. Flies were rabid!
Excellent stop between Perth and the towns of the south west. Loads of fun for the kids, Emu, Kangaroo & Goat pies, what more could you want?
Grate place to eat really good sweets, coffee and lunch as well.
It's perfect to go with the family and enjoy the day outside. They have plenty of green areas and a lot of thing to do for kids.
Nice stop on our trip between Perth and Busselton. Lovely spot for the kids, plenty of space to let off steam! Nice menu for a quick meal.
Not good at managing allergies and food tastes terrible. Double checked with staff and kitchen on making sure there is no sesame in the bread and despite assurances they are good at managing allergies, the bread was full of sesame (luckily it had so much sesame that we saw it before my daughter ate it).
This place is incredible, who would have thought building a cafe in the middle of no where would attract such attention! Must stop on the way down south if you have little kiddies.
Great staff - venue and food! Whomever designed and built this is a genius.
Fantastic family friendly place. Great food lots of things for kids to do. And service outstanding. Also pets allowed if traveling with your fury Freind. Highly recommend.
Absolutely loved this place. The children had so much fun on all the playground equipment while the older generation were delighted in some old machinery and great custom critter creations. Food was also delicious and a huge selection of cakes and coffees for a wind down after eating and playing
Great place for the kids to play, it's got a massive playground for them. Food is not to shabby also
Unfortunately we visited under covid19 restrictions and as we were from Perth, we were restricted to take away - which we totally understand. But it took almost 40 minutes to get 4 toasted sandwiches and 2 chips. I had 4 children waiting trying to spatial distance. Then as i realized, we needed sauce I had to queue again in the very long queue to purchase sauce - once at the front, a lady cut infront of me to join her friend who was being served. So we ended up being inside the cafe for close to 60 minutes in total. Unfortunately, there was no 'floating' staff member to ensure the flow in the line or assist with simple queries like - can i just check on my order or can i buy a 50 c sauce. It made for an ordinary experience unfortunately.
Their pies and sausage rolls became more palatable with the addition of more tomato sauce used. The tea was without colour or flavour, the coffee was just passable. The BLT looked more like it.
Overall it was marginal saved by the kind and friendly staff,
I'm giving Crooked, 2 stars.
Lovely coffee Stop over while travelling Down South. Great for kids to have a play and family to have a coffee. Pet friendly
Girls getaway Perth to Busselton, and The Crooked Carrot was our first stop for a meal, service/food/ was lovely and WOW! Our inner kids so enjoyed the activities
Absolutely loved it. It's like a little farming machinery museum with play ground for kids, heaps of car park spots, indoor and outdoor sitting, etc. I fell in love with it's design. Staff were lovely. It's a must stop cafe on your way to down south. If you don't stop, u're missing a fun lovely break from driving.
Staff always helpful sausage rolls always great but this time they needed to be cooked longer but a great place to go thank you will be coming back again
A huge thank you goes out to the staff, amazing service for me having a fall accident while there (my fault not theirs), they went far and beyond to help. Food was great too. Looking forward to going back and exploring
Absolutely superb Cafe! All staff were only too happy to help ensuring a brilliant experience. Coffee fantastic, sweets superb and lunch was perfect. Well done (especially all staff working Monday 15 March at about 2: 35, brilliant!). Beats an Ampol or BP going to or coming from the southern region.
