The Breakwater

Went for a function, great service and stmosphere. The food was delicious - especially recommend the sliders.

Thursday night is steak night.
Was really tasty, and a decent size serve.
Happy hour from 5pm, so that's a bonus

Had our engagement party in the Akoya Suite. Beautiful venue, great food and the staff went above and beyond to make the night special for us. Would definitely recommend for a function!

Great place if you want to get violently attacked by not just one but 3-4 of the security guards

Still not cheap but a great night out. Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Service to your table for food and drinks via the "on table QR codes" works quite well however twice now I have had to go and ask for drinks that had not been delivered after 25-30mins. Solid bar in a great location

Went down for Wednesday $10 chicken parmi night, it was quite full. It's a good parli with chips & salad, you can just order & pay from the table using a QR code, service was quick only down side, we ordered entrée which came with the mains. 8/10

Good fun at the breakwater. Has upstairs and down with seating outside by the water. Lively atmosphere.

We had a lovely mother's day breakfast! Food was fantastic, service excellent and seeing very comfortable.will return for sure!

The Breakwater was ok. Went to Ishka for dinner which was an average experience overall. Food was just OK, and service was very average.

Very poor customer service. Being ignored at the bar despite good manners and waiting for a significant amount of time. Serving others who have just entered bar area

Attended for a late lunch the oyster Kilpatricks we're the best 8/10. Very good venue lovely staff. Food was very fresh especially the Barra

I hired a private space for my engagement party and had a really bad experience with staff and security. They where very rude, especially the security guard. Venue was okay but ruined by our experience.

Nice place to sit and enjoy a drink. Unfortunately staff can be rude or their policies are rubbish.
I waited in line for a few minutes to get a happy hour drink, staff were standing around and not serving. It ticked over to 6: 01 and someone came to serve me and would not serve happy hour. I told the lady I had been waiting and she said she wouldn't do it.
Almost seems like they do it on purpose!

Was understaffed on a Tuesday, they were unable to keep up with clearing tables before the seagulls attack the leftover food.
Requested Medium steak, came out Medium rare.

Great pub right on the water. Amazing views that you can enjoy from Super cosy plush sofas or the many other seats. Great selection of beers and wine, with tasty fresh food. We loved The fish tacos and Seafood platter. Generous quantities and great service.

This place is not worth the money, time or occasion, we sat at the very limited seating area to watch the sunset and was blocked the entire time by a happy quokka Rottnest ship, seriously? The one place to dock the boat blocks the entire view of breakwater. Furthermore, for the price it's not tableservice which I would excuse if other elements were decent, but instead we had an understaffed venue and the staff that did work there were either young and nervous or a an incredibly rude senior member of staff. Everyone seems stressed working here, which is not good for your environment, I had to request to one of the staff, whose named I believe is "Timi" for our tale to be cleared, and her response was flippant and she just said "yeah, he's doing it" and gestured to a member of staff de went back to ignoring their customers. There's one saving grace in which one of your staff was decent but I didn't get their name unfortunately. I naturally won't be returning.

Great happy hour. Security are friendly. Most of the staff are nice. Food is good. Beautiful location. Great for functions.

Lovely place for a drink and lunch.there's definitely better and more posh places than this but this place has got something about it which makes it feel closer to the heart
