My dog Tiger had to stay here for a few nights. Really grateful for their help - he’s back to himself

This service is prohibitively expensive and seems more about money not about the animals
My dog was misdiagnosed and it took 3 appointments until they finally got it right
I would never recommended this clinic.

RIP Charlie, my beloved dog.

I was turned away from this hospital after my dog Charlie got hit by a car, he was flung a couple metres but was still standing immediately after with a couple grazes.

I immediately called this hospital to take Charlie in but was turned away and told that the hospital was too full.

Instead I had to take him to another vet practice immediately but Charlie deteriorated quickly when i got there and passed away from internal injuries, groaning in pain.

I can't help but ponder, had this hospital been more empathetic to this critical situation, he might've had survived.

RIP Charlie, my best friend forever, he will never be replaced. I'd do anything to bring him back.

Dishonest about charges, asked for the consult fee over the phone then when it came to pay for stated service was charged double.very expensive compared to others. Avoid.

Good customer service but the prices are through the roof, even just their basic consult prices compared to others is much more.

Were incredibly compassionate when we brought in our extremely sick old cat. Gave us time with him to say goodbye before helping him go gently. Thank you so much!
Have also been great when we’ve brought in injured animals we find.

If your furbaby is having an emergency I definitely recommend Murdoch Animal Hospital. They have a team of vets and vet nurses who really care for your pet and will do whatever necessary to help them. The vet caught my dogs diagnosis in good timing so she could have a successful surgery, and I'm really grateful for that. Always take your pet to a vet if you have concerns, even if others don't share your concerns.

High level of knowledge's and professionals. Very kind personalities from all staff, from cleaners to the doctors-veterinary, unebelivebl lov for animals and way of approaching to them, won't give you wrong informations about your animals or just take yours money for nothing. They will really take care about loved one at, or during treatment, or during treatment if is your loved one, even at home. HIGLY RECOMMEND to everyone.

Saved my cat and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. The staff were knowledgeable and the lady at reception was extremely friendly and helpful. Also this was all at midnight and the late night didn't slow them down

I called their emergency line at 4.30am in a panic as my little pup had diarrhoea. The operator was super reassuring, had good knowledge of what to do, what to expect and when to take action, and she handled my questions very calmly and patiently.

Amazing group of people who took such great care of our little girl.

Attending vets were respectful and caring as we tried to keep it together.

Our girl spent a night in ICU but home with us all now.

The vets here are amazing, realistic, sensitive and a joy to converse with. They made a very stressful experience so much easier on us and I left with my pet still alive thanks to them. I couldn't have been happier with their work or service. Thank you so much.

Absolutely amazing staff who go above and beyond to provide you and your pet with the very best care, no matter how challenging the circumstances. It took over an hour for my needle phobic and hyperactive girl to be sedate enough for her diagnostics, the whole time I was kept up to date with, and allowed to input on the plan to get her ready.

Absolutely fantastic caring staff. Vet Caroline was amazing in looking after our Teddy. Sadly we had to put Teddy to sleep but not until we knew everything that could be done for him, had been. We knew we had made the right decision as hard as it was. Thanks Caroline for your support and kindness.

The horses and some cows graze in pasture, easily seen as you can drive or be on a bus going right past them. Makes you feel like you are in the country. The Animal hospital itself, of course trains uni students, which is great of course.but the prices are the highest of all vet services generally. However, they can sometimes be a cost effective option, if the malady or affliction that the animal is suffering, is such that it would confound your average suburban vets, because regular vets will send you on their, if they are out of their depth.

As a training centre for uni students, it does have all the bells and whistles, in terms of laboratory equipment and testing. They should do low-income discounts (and they don't) because the emergency fees for service are sky-high, so some should be given back - Murdoch University you can afford to give something back!

Anyway for allergy testing, specialist services like eyes and other niche services are available because of the excellent standard of resources they have. Lots of people take rabbits there.

I notice many of their excellent staff move on overtime, so there must be a reason why they are not able to keep them. I think they are too strict on what vets can use in consumables, for instance, was my impression.

The emergency operation is 24/7 which we are very lucky to have, for those unfortunate times when the worst happens.
All vet nurses there are absolutely top class. Extremely skilled and caring compassionate always.
The shop is good, biscuits and leashes etc.
The parking is good too. All set in beautiful treed areas. Very lovely indeed
