Do not take your animals here. The service has gone down hill in the recent years. I had to put my 7 year old dog down after a trip to the emergency vet the same day they told me he was fine to come home. And the issues he had went undiagnosed 6 months earlier. Please do not take your baby’s here.

For pricing for surgery, they are the cheapest,
For quality of care and love of animals
Priceless, our girl needed surgery and every step we were trying with the best customer service ever.

The receptionist rude and abrupt wish I could say it was a great experience but first impressions not good.

Edit: Make that 3 times now and very happy with the result each time. Highly recommended! Very helpful and polite.

Have taken my parrot here a couple of times, and while not avian specific vets they have been great and helped each time. And the pricing is second to none. Thank you!

My Dog has been attending the Swan Veterinary Clinic for around 10 years (since before it changed hands and George subsequently retired).
All of the staff here are more than Caring & Helpful, and most of the time despite being VERY busy, will still take the time to explain things.
My dog can be 'difficult' at times due to previous health issues, so she's not too fond of attending the vet at all and displays anxiety behaviour & became 'snappy'.
Due to her size she's previously had to be muzzled for the safety of the staff.
Usually now she is cared for by Vet Nikita who is more than understanding and caring and has taken the time to reassure my dog that its a non threatening environment for her.
Due to the time & effort of the staff & especially from Nikita- I now don't have to muzzle my dog at all- which has also lessened her anxiety (as well as my own) after previous difficult visits.she's now far less difficult to handle & I no longer have to drag her through the front door!
Walk-ins here can be a couple of hours waiting in line for a vet when busy, so I'd recommend making an appt if possible first!
However IF the phone isn't answered promptly- its because they're particularly busy, so it pays to call again!
The prices (IMO) are not grossly inflated, are also more than reasonable & follow up appts are often no charge- e.g. Stitch removal etc.
The wait time shows how popular this Clinic is, and when I've mentioned it to other pet owners in Passing- many seem to know where the Clinic is, or even also use it!
This Vet Service's reputation is well known within the Hills region.
I hope to have my dog a while yet, but I'll remain a client of this service for my future pets as well.
This service isn't local to me- but more than worth both travelling to & staying with.
I'd recommend them to other pet owners as well.

Cannot recommend them highly enough. I've been going to Swan Veterinary Hospital for years with various pets. Always satisfied with their help and advice. I find the support staff are fantastic and always compassionate and helpful.

Always excellent. Best Vet service in perth. Prices are awesome as they care about your pet more than their pockets.

This place is very affordable compared to other Vets and has good customer service and they are honest. You can walk in but appointments and emergency treatments are their priority

The service here is extraordinary. Sometimes it gets very busy, so definitely make a booking if possible. We are very grateful to have such a quality service local to us.

Swan vet have saved and prolonged the life of my diabetic dog. They are great people and I have 2 go to vets there who are literally encyclopaedias of knowledge. Theyre more than reasonable with price and expectations.are from the amount of people who travel outside of the immediate area to get to them, I'd say many agree.

Dr Nikita explained everything in absolute detail. Our boy will be I great hands when he goes in for his operation.

I had to put my Max to sleep on 26 November due to heart failure. He was diagnosed with a heart murmur a year ago but nobody told me to put him on medication otherwise I would have done so. I believe he would still be with me today.

The staff here are all amazing and all very knowledgeable. One of the best vets I have ever been to. I have a dog with anxiety issues and the staff here are fantastic in their treatment of her.

Very happy with the service here. My dog recently had a black dot appear on her face. Worried I took her to a different vet and they said they aren’t sure what it is but it should be removed. Gave me an est of $1300-$1600 to get it removed. I didn’t feel right about that so I took my dog here to get a second opinion. Straight away the vet told me she believes it’s a melanoma and it’s need to be removed. Gave me an est of $800-$900. She then gave me advice how to help her in the long run. They’re knowledgeable and straight to the point. Also priced a lot more reasonably compared to other vets. Highly recommend. Keep up the good work team:)

The older receptionist is extremely rude and obnoxious speaks down to people clearly doesn't like her job and she should not be working at a veterinarian hospital where compassion would be desirable, she is definitely bad for business considering most of the bad reviews from here are clearly related to her.

Kind and understanding and sympathetic from the moment I walked in, without an appointment, with my very unwell and old dog.he was seen too promptly and I came away reassured.

I understand the vets are busy, but it would do no harm at the end of a very long wait (1.5 hrs, to tell people you either don't have the capacity or when they can expect to see a vet. It's an anxious wait when your pet is unwell.
