A great place to stay with so much to do around and a great beach. Our ocean view was a very generous apartment with all we needed but you need to bring cling wrap and foil etc

Lovely accommodation with great facilities. Gorgeous view from our ocean view villa. Fantastic pool area. Yummy food and at Lamont's. Lots of very friendly magpies. Hope to get there again very soon.

Booked the beach shack/chalet - self-contained and has literally everything you need - kitchen, toiletries, quiet, entertainment, tennis, close to the amazing Smith’s beach, and has its own swimming pool and a Lamont’s restaurant on site.

We had a beautiful stay in Apartment D11. The apartment was on the end which was perfect as it gave us a side view of the ocean in the distance! The apartment was absolutely stunning with fantastic facilities. We visited the pool during our stay which was stunning, so well thought out with beautiful finishing touches, by far the nicest pool area I’ve ever seen. The location was also great as you are right on the beach so you can grab a coffee from Lamont’s in the morning and go for a stroll. We requested baby gates and a high chair which were provided making it safe for our son. I would say for a 5 star hotel it possibly needs a little refresh; some walls and mirrors were chipped and there was some dust and cobwebs under the tables and on windowsills. However, overall, the stay was beautiful and we will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for accommodating our first family holiday.

Stayed at their 2 bedroom beach house. The check in process was relatively straightforward (a pre check in type process).

WiFi connection is poor and spotty. This was not fixed throughout my stay. So I think it is an inherent issue.

For the price. I expected better views for the beach house compared to the advertising (do not trust the pictures on the website). Most of my view was blocked by the dunes. Was informed that I needed to book the Ocean View villas instead of the Beach houses to get the better view.

Lamont's food in my opinion. Good not great. Perhaps because I am relatively well travelled.

Location is better compared to Pullman Bunker Bay. This is probably the main plus.

My partner and I paid $1,152.00 for 3 nights in a Beach Shack which included breakfast. The beach shacks felt old, tired and overpriced. Some of the previous reviews mention that “it was like a caravan park”. A comment I would have to agree with. It felt separated from the resort and had powered sites for caravans within close proximity to our room.

We later discovered that the Beach Shacks sit within the resort grounds but do not form part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World brand.

For stays less than 7 nights, there is no housekeeping provided. Front desk staff could've been more welcoming. We felt as though we were an inconvenience to them by asking for simple things. We ended up buying our own toiletries and washing the towels supplied due to this.

There is also an on-site restaurant (Lamont’s) that is a separate business to the resort. We had breakfast there each morning, and dinner twice during our stay. Each time we were pleased with the food quality and service from staff.

It is in a beautiful location but I am sure there are better accommodation options available with the inclusions you'd expect from a resort.

Upmarket apartment resort style accommodations. Very modern with good facilities right on a fabulous beach. The on-site restaurant Lamonts is definitely worth a visit.

Our room was not ready when we arrived early, no problem, we were allowed to use the facilities (pool). They assured us they would text us as soon as the room was ready. It was very hot and our food and drinks were in the very very hot car. They offered to put some of our food in their fridge but as it was close to 3pm, we didn't take them up on the offer. We waited and waited. 3pm came and went. 3: 30.by 3: 45, still no text and I went down to reception. Oh yes the room's ready! I asked why no text? Oh, sorry about that! Hmmm.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom beach shack. It was a good location, within a 2
Minute walk to the beach. Although, the pool part of the resort is within a gated area and feels like you don’t really belong there if you’re from the shack part of the resort. No servicing of the room unless it’s over a certain amount of days. The rooms are good, clean and secure. Not really kid friendly, I’d suggest looking somewhere else if travelling with a family.

Great cabin and good value for money for a mid week spring stay! A perfect base to explore the region and the many hikes and trails.

What a great property, great service and beautiful location!

My partner and I stayed here for our 3 year anniversary in addition to our family visit to Perth and I must say I was impressed. Upon arrival we were greeted with smiling faces at the check in (who on a side note also gave us a DETAILED map of the area and I love small things like that, it really helps!) and beautiful views! Despite the small error in our room as we were given the keys to the wrong house they resolved it with efficiency and professionalism and we were given the upgrade from the 1 bedroom beach shack that we booked to a 1 bedroom garden view with additional welcome wine and chocolate and they brought everything over so we didn't have to even move! It makes such a difference when errors are handled with care. Additionally I found a hand written card congratulating us on our anniversary and that really made my day.

In regards to the actual accommodation and facilities I will say everything is great. The pool area is lovely with a large pool.spa and plenty of decking and chairs. Lamont's is a 5 star resturant that's located on site dealing in seasonal Australian produce and is a must do! Lamont's also offer a gourmet deli that you can buy from and don't forget they can make you a handmade and selected picnic basket that you can just walk over the road and down the stairs and enjoy on the stunning Smiths Beach.ugh can't get over it. Everything else including Coles and other vitals are only a 15 min drive away!

The location is a favorite as well, you get the peace and serenity of been tucked away far enough from society to feel at peace but not too far away from main activities whether it been Margaret River wine region, Canal Rocks, Sugar Loaf Road and much more!

The staff are incredible from their professionalism to knowledge of the surrounding areas and are there for you and cater to your every need to the best of their ability.

It's not often that I write stunning reviews but I don't really have anything bad to say and as a Travel Agent I will be recommending this to my staff and clients for future trips.

Thanks again everyone, can't wait to be back!

Absolutely rude front office lady who talked down to us when we tried to show interest in the place. She acted like we were "too poor" to be there, even asking if we were in the wrong place and had got lost.

Because I couldn’t reply to your reply, don’t cry wolf about being family operated and on Skelton staff. Us in WA have had it very lucky and other locations around the Australia and the world who rely on tourism have had it much much worse! I believe your reply sums up everything I have expressed previously, for you to claim victim is very poor taste. Especially when you have been able to operate accordingly for the last 10 months, go ask other places in Victoria and NSW if they were lucky enough to still operate. Also, if you are charging $2500/night you should be able afford more staff. Yes as a business owner, which is above medium. Admin can be done remotely, as like the majority of businesses around the world and that’s the service I required last week which you failed at. And still failing at

We stayed in an excellent, spacious, modern and well equipped (self contained) 1br villa. We had a spectacular dinner at Lamonts, lovely waitress and wonderful food/wine.
Just great.

A very nice resort, love the rooms, great size pool and the beach is great just across the road.

Our room was run down, there were broken and worn out furniture and fittings. It wasn’t cleaned to the standard I’d expect of a higher star resort. We were told at check out we would have WIFI but didn’t. The tv wouldn’t work and our room was right next to the service area. So we had buggy’s and trucks parked in front of our car park. And there were so many flies- including at the restaurant (food was good but there was no system to keep flies out) Not a great experience.

Stayed at the 2 bedroom beach shack. Its like a chalet and for around $350 a night its actually a bit disappointing. Even at that price point there is no housekeeping therefore not enough coffee to last anything but 1 morning. There was mould on the shower ceiling and my partner got one hell of a haircut when the BBQ exploded when he used it for the first time. Maintenance was great when they came to fix the TV when it wasn't working when we arrived. Pool isn't heated. Probably better when in dec/jan. Undecided if we would come again.although it would be nice to see the difference between their shacks and what they classify as 5 star

Booked a beach shack but was upgraded to a garden apartment. Have an 11 month old and cot, high chair and baby gate had been set up for our arrival. Lovely staff. Can't fault location!

Great accommodation, love the view of Smith's Beach. Lamonts for meals is great and coffee is delicious. Would recommend walking part of the Cape to Cape around to The Aquarium. Well worth the effort!
