Smiths Beach Resort reviews
68We have stayed here four times over the past three years and will continue to choose Smiths Beach Resort as our preferred accommodation when visiting Yallingup. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the rooms are clean, comfortable and in most instances come with a stunning view. Would highly recommend.
Lovely set up, beach shacks are quite comfortable.
Not for smokers though as smoking is prohibited within the property.
This was better than I expected. The pictures online were not that impressive but the space is well set up and provides most things you will need for a short stay.
We stayed here for a week with 2 young kids and an almost teenager and were comfortable.
The walk to the beach is extremely convenient and there is a heated main pool outdoors as well as a non heated kids pool. We also managed to book to play tennis one day and they provided the balls and racquets.
The food at the restaurant was delicious but pretty pricey so we ate out most of the time.
We did buy some groceries and prepared some meals in the kitchen and plenty of variation of utensils were provided.
We had housekeeping service once on a Wednesday (we stayed Sunday to Sunday) but you can always ask them to replace your towels if you need to.
Each unit gets one parking spot directly outside but there is also plenty of parking spaces by the front reception.
The place was clean and felt nice and modern. Service was great as everyone was lovely and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.
We spent a couple of days here with the family and were well looked after by the team here. The resort team looked after us with a 2 bedroom double storey apartment. It has everything you need including a bbq. The decor is very modern and the rooms are very generously sized with a king sized beds. There is a good sized heated pool and a kids pool too. You can easily walk to the picturesque beach in less than 5 minutes. Super happy to have stayed at this resort! It’s clean, luxurious and so relaxing! Would most definitely recommend this to others who are thinking of staying in Yallingup. Thank you to the Smiths Beach team for a memorable stay at your resort!
It was our first experience at Smiths Beach Resot and we had a great time. The staff were super friendly and always happy to help, the apartments were next level, and we loved the pool and restaurant. We will certainly be back.
Everything about Smith's Beach Resort is wonderful.
My stay was in a single bedroom "beach shack" which is nothing like a beach shack. It's spacious, modern, 2x split system aircon/heating, bathroom with separate toilet, fully equipped kitchen, small dining area, lounge area with TV, and just an all round comfortable place to stay.
The resort itself is beautiful, great location and staff are all so friendly and accommodating.
Plenty of parking, close to the beach and if going down south, a great place to stay.
Was assisted by Katie.she was extremely helpful n give good advices n recommendation. Place are clean n very comfortable. A short stroll will lead to the beach with superb panoramic view of the sea.we did managed to see a school of dolphins swimming in front.
Yallingup at its best
What a location and what a resort! Have stayed now a few times and have always left with a big smile.
The shack was very good. We've stayed there before but in the sea view room. The shack did not disappoint. Clean and roomy. The cold and rain prevented use of the little BBQ area attached to the unit, but that was ok. The kitchen had everything needed to prep and cook. The bedrooms were good size. The boys loved their bunk beds. The beds comfy.
Friendly staff both reception and other.
If we needed anything, the reception was very accommodating, and milk, etc, was quickly dropped off
Nice weekend away from hustle and bustle. Very quiet and peaceful. The beach not too far. Great walk to Canal Rocks along the coast.
Ended up spending five nights here and really enjoyed the surrounding area activities and beaches. Their resti and bar were extremely overpriced but a great place to cook your own meals.
Stunning location central to lots of amazing things such as the caves, Dunsborough and bussleton staff were amazing and made our experience the best
Love everything about this place.
Quiet, close to beach, great pool.
Close to Yallingup, Dunsborough and wineries.
Staff are happy and friendly
Lamonts restaurant on site
Only con is it is pricey compared to other places.
The staff reception were friendly a nice pool right on the beach a Great restraunt With great food and staff also a little store a tennis courts free wifi it cannot get much better than that thanks smiths beach resort see you next year for another holiday
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.
We booked and needed to change our reservation dates, they told us the only dates available were an additional 2000 dollars. Then when the dates came around the hotel had so much availability prior and after those dates at a cheaper price point.
Looking through other reviews I can see that other clients have also experienced problems with a complete lack of flexibility or consideration.
I would never recommend this hotel. Overpriced, inflexible and plenty of other options in the area.
Beautiful location with ocean views and a fireplace to keep warm with lots of amenities and a great restaurant downstairs.
Excellent hospitality service, friendly staff.
Clean units, silent and the best location!
The customer service from the front office team Nicola and manager Steven is extremely poor. Speaking to customers with no regard for solutions. This place clearly doesn't care about customer experience I wanted a nice weekend away for my 30th birthday that was quickly ruined by this team.
My wife and two friends hiked from Indjinup spa hoping to have a drink at the bar and a snack but it was closed. The rude and unhelpful woman at the desk wouldn’t even give them any water and sent them packing. Last time I go there for dinner or anything else.
Beautiful beach, great to be able to get out there before anyone else.
Resident magpies are very vocal and friendly.
Fantastic location. Loved the pool and the view from the 3bedroom ocean view villa. Very relaxing.
