Not a bad place to visit, if highly recommend having insect repellent tho, the mosquitos size is larger than a dragonfly over there, took me 2 bites to know that was the time for me to leave.

Spent the morning here with the family, pretty good spot that's sheltered from wind and has a nice beach for putting in surf ski's, etc. There is a toilet block but I didn't visit so can't comment on those, no bbq or water fountains though. Pretty good, some of those extras would make it 5 star.

Have to add that dogs seem to be allowed off leash here, which is fantastic! Dogs and owners vary and so will your mileage here.

A perfect place to walk the dog along the banks of the Swan. Excellent barbecues and picnic facilities. Well maintained by the Town of Bassendean.

Easy access, close proximity to the water. Great place to walk your dogs or throw in a line from a quite spot.

The jetty is gone.it was there but now it's gone. I don't know what else to say except the world is a less colourful place now.

I was there yesterday. I walk along the river edge at least three times per week. I usually walk 3.5 kms or more here each time with my dog Lily.

Sandy beach reserve is a great spot for a couple beers a quiet fish and some relaxing times. If you wanna walk your dog or smash a couple coldies with the boys this is the place for you.

What a beautiful place. Loved visiting here. The kids had so much fun, lots of space to run around, play equipment, nature and art sculptures. Great park!

A great place and well Maintained by the City of Swan.
Animals are allowed off leash and kids have a playground.
Highly recommended Sandy Beach Reserve and it links up to Bayswater Riverside gardens.

It's annoying how some dogs are wet, come out of the water and shake themselves near you. I think dogs need to be on leash since some people don't train them to behave well enough.

A really nice quiet place by the river. Plenry of space and good to take the kayaks down to. Junior managed to catch a small bream off the sand. Ducks are inquisitive too!
