I highly recommend Rivergum. Traveling from Newman to Perth for surgery was made so much easier thanks to the staff. We arrived to the clinic after a 13hr drive to get our puppy Octavia out of the car for a walk before her appointment, the staff noticed us straight away and took the time out to bring the paperwork outside to us and offer any assistance we needed. Dr Tom listened to all our concerns about the after care for Octavia with there currently being no vet in town. The extra detail the team gave must be commended down to the colour choice of the bandages used. Thank you for taking such good care of my puppy.

Nothing but GOOD for these Drs and all the staff. Outstanding treatment of our Banjo after being struck by a 4WD in the south west. From the first visit he (and I) were treated with compassion and respect. Banjo has got to keep his leg thanks to the care and attention he received. Thank you all so much:)

This is my dog mylo's second visit to rivergum.
The first time he needed his luxating patella fixed.
Dr Neil Gibson couldn't have been more amazing helping his leg get better. Over 1 year on and it is completely fixed. The recovery was smooth and the advice given to help Mylo along was easy to follow
Unfortunately he recently had a cruciate ligament tear in the same leg. Again Dr Gibson has helped fix Mylo. A long road to recovery but i have full faith he will get better and his leg will be back to normal in no time.
The staff at rivergum are all so pleasant.
It is by far one of the most professional vets i have been to.

Had a serious neuro issue with my cat and these guys where great about it.

No under or over diagnosis, no greed mentallity like most the vets, i have to get meds off them cause the cats issue is on going and it doesnt cost me an arm and a leg, they treat your animals with respect, and i wont mention names outta privacy but teh desk staff are great and the kind lady who sees my cat genuinely cares about her job and the animals that come in, its refreshing as the last vet nearly gotta beating for mis handling my cat when i was tryna tell him how to do it right.

We are beyond grateful to Dr Gibson and the team at Rivergum for the amazing care provided to our golden retriever, Hugo. He required 2 x cruciate repairs and additional surgeries over the last 18 months. Despite numerous treatments, Hugo loves visiting Rivergum. The team are dedicating to providing the best surgical care and their genuine love for the animals they treat is evident. Hugo is back to his cheeky self and we couldn’t be happier.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Dr Gibson was very attentive to our greyhound Molly. Couldn't recommend them enough!

So impressed with how well they’ve taken care of Lily through her surgery and recovery. Dr. Tom Hill is lovely and takes time to explain things well. Every single receptionist and vet nurse I’ve met there over the last 6 weeks have been friendly and helpful - plus it is always very sweet to see them dote on Lily ️

Recently doctor Neil Gibson operated on my Mini dachshund with dorsal displacement. I could not have wished for a better outcome. The operation was such a success. Bobby is almost back to his normal self. Nurses and staff are all very high level professional in tgeir field, and made my family feel like we were all involved in every aspect. Bobby has experienced a extreemly speedy post recovery and limited scarring. We would highly recommend his services and staff to personalise care of your animals.

We cannot thank Dr. Neil and the entire team enough for the care, empathy and kindness delivered to our cat and ourselves so far through this stressful time. They kept us up to date and everything was explained thoroughly. Cats are unpredictable and have a mind of their own and ours is particularly skittish. They adjusted their care accordingly and were very understanding of my worries as things progressed.

She is a huge chunk of our hearts and they treated her as such without hesitation. We could not have asked for more. We will not hesitate to recommend them far and wide for what the entire team have done for us.

This is by far the best vet I have visited.
My dog had a successful outcome from a complicated operation that had significant risks. Whilst this has obviously been pleasing it is not the reason for leaving this review.

The staff are courteous, caring and professional. Everything was explained thoroughly and I was kept up-to-date with information during procedures.
I highly recommend Rivergum Vet.

Really understood what they were doing. Milo is back to walking again after tearing his ACL. Highly recommended.

All the good things everyone has said are true and more. Our baby April received the best care from everyone who tended her. Reception staff just as beautiful. Back to her happy mobile self. We never felt rushed. Thank you soooo much.

The care and compassion both my dog and I are receiving from the whole staff is truly outstanding. Our journey is long and complicated I would be lost without their support. I have used Rivergum with earlier dogs and have always received the best of care, advice and support.

Excellent service from all staff. They are very caring, patient and explain everything to you. Dr Neil Gibson repaired my little dog's cruciate ligament. My dog is still in recovery after four weeks, but so far so good. She seems a lot happier and more loving which is a good sign

Having picked up our dog he was dehydrated and dying of thirst. On getting home he drank a bowl and a half of water.

We were referred to Rivergum after our Daschund was diagnosed with IVDD. The care, empathy and knowledge they showed immediately made us feel our dog was in the best place. Thanks to them, we have a fit and happy, if not slightly wobbly little dog.

Dr Gibson, the nurses and staff are truly amazing people. We cant thank them enough for all the treatment, care and support they have provided our bulldog over the past 12 months. The health and well being of our dog has been there primary focus at all times.
We highly recommend Dr Neil Gibson and his team and we will always be grateful for everything they have done and for the continued support they provide to our beloved bulldog.

I saw Mr. Neil Gibson for the second time for the repair of my
Yorke Spike’s cranial cruiciate ligament. The first operation on the right leg was totally successful and this time spike had the same injury to the left leg. Spike is 12 years old and now at 8 weeks post op is back to walking normally. Very happy.
Neil could not have been more helpful and was very caring. The staff and veterinary nurses complimented the clinics very high standards.

I would recommend this clinic to all.
