RAC Margaret River Nature Park reviews
60 An impressive campground with around 450kms of mountain bike trails nearby. This is one awesome place to stay.
Caravan, trailers, cars, 4x4 welcome.
Glamping savannah tents, small cabins to large bunk rooms. Power and water available.
The glamping tents are fantastic with lights, power and a comfortable bed.
Car parking, huge camp kitchen with bbqs, fridges, stoves, bathroom and toilet facilities that are great. Only 1 washing machine.
Kids play area. No swimming pool which we really wish they had.
Very close to a distillery and brewery. Margaret River town is a bike ride away.
We stay here regularly and love it.
Clean, tidy, spacious and superb hosts.large onsite tent was comfortable 2x bunk beds and a double with electric blanket, right up against the Forrest. Cycle tracks aplenty!
Great location, yet peaceful and well resourced. Easy quiet walk through bushland into the village
Beautiful setting, we stayed in a Safari tent, we were comfortable and had access to what we needed via the camp kitchen, with great views into thr bush from the front porch area. Perfectly situated for Mountain Bikers, look forward to returning.
Disgusting! ABSOLUTELY disgusting! We were told that we'd get a dorm for 5 to sleep in and were goven a small prison! There was no ventilation in dorm and filled with spider webs! The coach area was also messy and when I asked for a different dorm-it was rejected in a very arrogant and rude tone! DON'T GO!
Great place for family! We spent 16 days in the Safari tent during the Winter, a memorable experience for our children age 15 to 5. Kids were out and about everyday cycling on the trails. Great escape for families living in cities. Peaceful place.
Only downside was when a bus load of kids came, then it was loud and noisy, other than that the place is perfect getaway and the management were really nice and friendly.
Great camping site in the close vicinity of Perth. Administration staff is extremely helpful. The woods, the wind, the possums, the campfire and the trails. Its everything you need to break the monotony of concrete jungle life. The bicycle trails just next to the park were the real treat. I had no idea about the amazing cycle trails that were hidden under the canopies of the trees. Went there to chill, ended up cycling and bruises from falls.
I’ve stayed here 5 times- both in the safari tents and the cabins. Each time has been a joy. It’s an easy walk into town, it is serene at night and if you have children, it is far better than a hotel. Love it!
My fav in Margs! We stayed here for almost 14 days, really pleasant vibe, great staff, lovely location and a great bush walk into town!
Awesome place in the middle of the Forest. Friendly staff, clean toilets and showers, fireplaces, fully equipped kitchens and only a few minutes to Margaret River. It's possible to hire Bikes, and their are MTB trails Just around the Corner! Perfect for families!
Great place, fantasic people and facilities. Stayed here several times and really enjoyed it. The cabins are cosy and spacious with log fires. Close to town and the mountain bike trails
This is one of my favourite spots to simply unwind and be surrounded by nature. Facilities are excellent and the fact that it is Ecofriendly is a bonus. The huge Safari tents are the only accommodation I have stayed in. My girls keep begging to go back every year.sooo we are heading down next week. Happy days!
I have been here twice by myself with 4 teenagers while my husband was away at work. It was a very supportive place. Firstly I came with a caravan and every effort was made to give us a large, secluded site. The owner offered to park the van if I couldn't manage it (seeing it was my first time towing a caravan). The camp kitchen was well equipped. The children also enjoyed the table tennis table. The second time we came was in a glamping tent. These tents are fabulous, roomy and comfortable - everything anyone could want. We loved the easy chairs on the little deck out the back. The owners are great people, always willing to help and offer advice. If there was one thing that I would have liked is to be able to hire a heavy duty mountain bike for the tracks nearby. There were bikes, but they are only allowed (and suitable) for road use. I was, however, able to hire in town. I would love to go there again. Its a shame dogs can't come - but its not because of the owners, but because it is designated national park.
One of the best places I've stayed at. If you like mountain biking the trails are 5 minutes ride suitable for all skill levels and 2nd to nothing else in WA
Located in a beautiful setting in the midst of the forest, with clean and functional amenities and super friendly staff, this eco bush retreat is well worth a stay!
Went there to camp a few months ago. The location is very convenient with mtb trails close and other stuff close by too. The camp site is powered and the undercover cooking area is excellent!
Nice place. Quiet and away from the town. However, it only takes less than 10 mins to drive to the town. Clean toilet and bathroom. We saw lots of stars when we were there. We enjoyed the place very much. Highly recommend!
Really nice and relaxed place the staff are really friendly and were nothing but helpful when we were in a bit of a jam. The amenities are spot on too. Cheers guys!
Wonderful campgrounds! Great location in the national park but it's also close enough to walk into Margaret River town. Clean and tidy facilities and toilet/shower block. Such a peaceful, beautiful setting and atmosphere. The stars on a clear night is absolutely breathtaking! Definitely recommend!
Excellent camping facilities, walk trials, bike tracks, communal camp kitchen, undercover area, Ping pong, basketball for the kids. Great outdoor adventure playground too. 5 mins from Margaret River in the National Park
