Imagine, if you will, a sparsely planted carpark. That's it.
Nice facilities overall.
It must be said that if you like your Australian birds IN YOUR FACE this is the perfect place. I felt like snow white. But with huge emus IN YOUR FACE. As a bird person I was delighted, ornithophobes may well die however.

Nice park. Good facilities but at $56 per night pretty expensive compared to other parks in area. On a pension makes it unaffordable for more than a couple of nights even with members discount. Good location to town. Stayed in caravan site so can't comment on rooms.

What a Joke!
It’s 40’ everyday and the pool is closed twice in a week. It’s 6pm and the pool is closed but it’s still 35’
This place is living on cloud 9 as we will never be back.
Disgusted
Well it’s very underwhelming to be honest. Camp site with Ens is average at best. Park is generally dirty with no real care for guests. Unless you have a van the hard stand on the campground is useless.
Not really interested in the swimming pool with so many Young kids and families. Lots of older people that needs servicing as well.
I didn’t think coins for a washing machine was still a thing in 2023 but obviously Exmouth didn’t get the memo.
One good thing is the Ens is very clean and tidy. Never again though

Arrived after hours and found our site double booked. After hours help number was unknown to me and was mentioned only upon mentioning the issue at reception the next day.
No compensation whatsoever offered when booking a second night. Poor customer service in my experience.
Pool kinda dirty when i was there. Pool is salt water.
Value for money was heaps better in Monkey Mia.

Highly recommend this Park. We have actually based ourselves here for the duration of our Ningaloo Reef exploring - perfect. Right across the road from the Information Centre. Fabulous large site, excellent amenities, friendly helpful service. Loved the added bonus of emu visits

This is basically a giant parking lot. There is no privacy, no shade, no trees, sites are all next to each other, all just gravel ground. Facilities are top and clean and fantastic, probably very suitable for families with caravans, but besides that it is not a pleasant camping experience. Sites could use a lot more love.

Staff on reception are lovely and super helpful. My room (Reef Queen) was comfortable, well appointed and clean, though an in-room kettle would be a useful addition. The other facilities are where this resort fell down - camp kitchen was clean but had no supplies to speak of, two of the fridges were out of order, no sink plugs or hot water for washing up. The bathrooms were pretty dingy and need an upgrade. I stayed 3 nights and didn't have a single (short) shower that I got hot water consistently regardless of time of day or other usage. The thing that I was most shocked at was the criminal water wastage at this property - located in a desert, using bore water, signs everywhere urging users to save water but no low flow shower heads, no low flow taps, no sink plugs, limited hot water (so you have a longer shower waiting for it to come back on), no time-outs on taps or showers and the lawn sprinklers are constantly on watering dirt, concrete and a bit of grass. Even in the middle of the day. RAC you have a long way to go on your eco credentials. Please deal with this!

Excellent pools, kitchen and amenities. Compressed gravel campsites require screw in pegs. It would be good if RAC 'deposit - loaned' appropriate screw in pegs for use. Hammering in pegs is not possible - if they are longer than a (supplied) drill bit they protrude dangerously. Also if pegs are smaller than drilled holes they won't stay in! Compressed gravel right to edge of trees will also stress trees and that is why they won't grow to give proper shade - compressed road base should be removed around trees in a 1m or so circle to provide for water etc. Better shading would also cool the area down.

Stayed here in October. Excellent campsite with good facilities. Within walking distance from shopping and restaurants. You can buy tours at the reception. Friendly staff.

Camped (tent) with on-site ensuite in November. Very impressed with the quality of the amenities overall within the camp. The new kitchen is enormous and very clean.

Pool nicely maintained and spacious.

Staff very helpful for giving ideas to fill our days. The coffee truck out front was great:)

Note that if you are heading to the Exmouth Gulf for snorkeling that it is about a 45 minute drive from the town around to the western side of the gulf where the main snorkeling spots are within the national park.

Negative aspect was the lack of staff enforcement of noise within the camp during our stay. We had people setting up on the edge of the camp blasting music at midnight. Disappointed that we had to intervene ourselves.

Very clean. Wash rooms and kitchen look new and are cleaned regularly. They have fridges and freezers and 2 pools the big one could do with a but more shade but is good. You need screw in pegs and they notify you this when you book. All on all reasonable and would recommend.

Friendly staff and good location. Nice facilities and also clean.
Just very expensive though. $50 for an uneven piece of land is a bit much.
My husband and I stayed on one of the unpowered sites and the fact that we paid $50 a night to stand on ground that wasn't even straight, was a bit ridiculous. Other than that it's nice.

BEWARE CHILDREN RUNNING OUT INFRONT OF CARS UNACCOMPANIED BY PARENTS. Honestly such a hazard, drive super super slow around there, the weekends are carnage, very family friendly, however not very peaceful also on the poweted/unpowered sites not much privacy is provided.

Huge spaces for your rigs though, ideal really however only a small number of matted or grass areas the dirt areas are impossible to get pegs into.

The sink area had a drain however the water would spray out and would miss the drain. One of the showers at the end was constantly blocked up and the toilets weren't too clean.

Nice pool areas.

Front loaders instead of top loaders which was good, kitchen was spacious.

Was very pleased with the cleanliness and location of RAC Exmouth. Will be the only place I stay there from now on.

Really great facilities and amazing customer service.
We booked four nights on an ensuite site (which was very clean and well set up). Only lasted one night in the rooftop tent in the middle of summer before deciding it was too hot to camp.
Checked out after 1 night without asking for any compensation (because it was not their fault at all). Very surprised when the lady chased after us and said she'd see what she could do as we were RAC members.
Ended up giving us a credit for 2 nights to use later!
Will definitely be back.in cooler weather.

HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND

We arrived on Christmas afternoon and our gate code wasn't working, after getting someone to let us in with their code we went to set up camp. The site had absolutely no shade and we couldn't get our pegs into the gravel due to how hard the ground was.

We then called the emergency number on the map to advise about our gate code not working and asked if they had any grassed sites for us to use considering we couldn't get our tent up. We were then told "it wasn't his (the owners) problem and to figure it out ourselves, we just can't pitch a tent and we will have to keep asking people in the site to let us in with their code".

After going back and forth, an angry man arrived on a bicycle and gave us a drill to get our pegs in and told us the gates weren't his problem but he'll have to figure it out for us anyway.

The next morning we went in to pay for our stay as the office was closed on Christmas afternoon. The lady at reception was extremely rude and snapped at us because we couldn't manage to find our RAC member number. She had no smile or basic customer service skills.

One afternoon we were heading back to the camp site when we changed from first gear into second around the corner at the entrance. The male owner on a bicycle then cut in front of our car yelling abuse at us for speeding even though we were going 8kms as signed around the camp. He then went behind our car and continued to ride behind us extremely close to the back end.

We also witnessed the male owner on a bicycle yell at multiple people for things including; being in the pool area at sunset and even for how cars are parked on site.

The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting, there was no toilet paper in any of the female toilets for nights on end and the pools were extremely dirty.

For a family run business, you would think they would treat every client with respect and up keep their property however this is the complete opposite. The male owner would regularly ride around the camp site and be in everyone's business, it didn't even feel like a holiday because you are being watched 24/7.

I will NEVER be coming back here due to how disrespectful the staff are and how poorly the grounds are kept. Hopefully the other campers we talked to will express their horrible experience too.
