RAC Esperance Holiday Park reviews
70 We enjoyed our stay here.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Amenities a bit dated but I think they are getting a refit in May.
Pet friendly.
I’d like to give 0 actually, I always traveled and I always loved to spend my nights in the RAC campings so I did in Esperance too, I’d wish I could go back and do not pay 46$ per night
It doesn’t have good service at all, the kitchen is too small, if someone is cooking there is no space for you, it doesn’t have any window and if the bbq are on the kitchen will be full of smoke, the bathrooms are small, not enough and dirty, some doors are even broken so you can’t lock yourself in, the laundry is dirty and doesn’t work really well, the sink in my site is broken, everything seems abandoned, there is some rubbish on the grass, the people are not friendly at all
I wanted to leave but they won’t give me any refund
If you come to Esperance just choose for another camping
It was a lovely stay but will be much better after the upgrade. Would appreciate caravans being allowed in before 2pm
Nicely located in Esperance, directly opposite the beach. Can be quite chilly at night and windy. Also the noise of traffic takes away the camping atmosphere. Altogether a nice park with clean facilities and friendly staff. Reasonably priced
Love this park. Yes the ablution blocks are a little run down and dated but they were kept clean and tidy considering how busy it is. Plus they are about to spend a hefty lot of money revamping this place up. It’s in a fantastic location right on the beach. It’s central to a lot of the places we needed to go and not that far away from the main shopping centre. It had an amazing coffee van pull up each morning which is a massive win for us with two little children. We could leisurely wander down to grab our coffees without having to put kids into the car. The caravan and camp sites are a decent size so your not all on top of each other and I love how each row of sites is teared so everyone has a bit of a view of the beach from their sites. Can’t wait to return one day and see the new park when their complete.
I wouldn't recommend staying here til the renovations are completed. The amenities are quite gross.
Nice convenient location 3 minutes from town centre on the beach. Standard amenities and small playground. A bit run down but told improvements are scheduled for this year. Ground is like rock so if needing to pitch tent/gazebo and tie down you will need a hammer drill and masonary bit.
I wouldn't recommend staying here til the renovations are completed. The amenities are quite gross, lots of black mould in the male toilets and showers temps often dangerously fluctuated. It is in a lovely spot but the fees are totally disproportionate to the quality of the park currently. Regretted not staying elsewhere but our expectations were a lot higher having staying in the nice RAC caravan parks like shark bay.
Has what you need in terms of facilities; showers, toilets, basic camp kitchen etc but getting a major upgrade soon. Friendly staff. Beach right across the road but sites mostly quite sheltered from wind. We enjoyed location - riding/ walking into town from here. They let us park here while we went to Woody Island as we stayed either side of those dates. This was great peace of mind re security.
Amazing view but a very tired site. If you are thinking about using the BBQ's, don't bother, there are only two to cater for ~170 powered/unpowered bays!?
