Portofinos Restaurant, Bar & Function Venue

Very disappointing. I used to dine at Portofinos regularly. Back then the service and food were 5 star. This recent experience my drink was served warm, the prawns were like tough rubber and dry, the squid was cold and greasy, the raw oysters were warm, cold greasy batter on the fish and the soft shelled crab was a browny black inside. The seafood plate was more of a batter platter. The pot of tea for one consisted of a tea pot of hot water and 1 tea bag.

We have a friend living in Alkimos and we ordered a takeaway on the way to our friend's the night before. The process was seamless. Good portion for the pizzas, extremely tasty (one of the friends doesn't normally eat the crust, and she sure did!), food came out hot and great service with a smile by the staffs even though they were extremely busy on a Sunday lunch. Good value for the money. Saw the ocean views from the restaurant. We will be back again when we visit the friend in Alkimos. Highly recommend this place

Great food and drink. Right on the beach. Table service would have been better but it was on Father's day so understand the pressure.

Recommend the crumbed brie and chorizo starters. We had one steak a little too overdone. In good conscience, it was redone, and this restaurant is one of the best in Northern Perth. Fully deserves 5 stars.

What a find.beautiful views excellent service and wonderful food. Wonderful lunch had two specials the Moroccan lamb cutlets and humpty doo barramundi. Both dishes were faultless and included veges etc. Sticky date pudding, well that was 11 out of ten. Good wine list has a gorgeous nz sauvignon blanc $40 bottle.

The food was lovely. The restaurant is on the beach so great views of the ocean. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Definitely will be returning.

Great food - steak, pastas and pizza in particular. Service was good, even on a busy night. Sports playing on the TVs while you eat as well!

My Wife and I organized a lunch for 16 people today at Portofino's, we had a lovely time, shared a beautiful meal and drinks. Service was excellent and led by our waiter 'Vic', who remembered our preferences and was ever ready when needed. Prices were mid-range, the food was excellent, great sized servings! We will be back! To everyone involved at 'Portofino's' thankyou for a lovely afternoon!

Portofinos is our favourite restaurant. We love the food, atmosphere and absolutely the location.

Came here for lunch to say the food was tasteless is an understatement. I usually don't complain but I drove 40mins because of the reviews I read online.
I had the funghi pizza had no flavour and then gave my friend a slice and she found a long hair in it. Chips were soggy and ingredients seemed cheap arancini tasted like store bought ones just fried.
The staff were ok took our cutlery with entree and didn't give us new ones with mains.we all left there disappointed and to think we paid the extra 15% public holiday surcharge. Was a joke

Great food. Great service. Good prices, huge meals!
Dessert was epic. Good family place. Would come back for sure.

A lovely warm and friendly night on a windy night. The steaks were mouth watering with beautifully cooked accompliments and very tasty sauce. The sticky date pudding was beautiful and plenty of caramel sauce to my delight.
The staff were lovely and friendly and I noticed many happy to have a chat.
The premises could easily with notice accommodate otherwise abled Patrons. A bubbly restaurant which seemed to even allow conversation without problem unless you had hearing issues. Lovely ocean views during the day.

It was Christmas eve and we had a family get together, staff were very friendly and interactive made you feel very welcome

Mask wearing is mandatory at the moment.this INCLUDES covering your nose - bar staff and desk staff not complying; wait staff are pleasant and helpful, wearing their masks in the correct manner.

Ordered pizza - very good, if a little heavy-handed with the chilli. Suggest requesting a bottle of water for your table - if you refuse a refill from the communal jug, they may not return.

May possibly return, the jury is currently out.however, if we do, I will order an affogato with kahlua again - yum.not on the menu.

Everything was great. People, food and venue. It was a busy time but our meals were served in no time and piping hot. Thank you to all the staff.

Came in for my birthday with my family. Had the woodfired pizzas. They were excellent. Requested a table by the window twice. We were refused both times stating that all the tables were reserved even though most of the tables in the place were empty. Three tables by the window remained empty for the hour and a half that we were there. Regardless of the food, 2 star experience.

Came for breakfast it was 7: 30am and there was only 1 other table who walked I'm the same time as us, the person who took our order was extremely rude, wasn't intersste in taking our order, the fact my kids were there just seemed to annoyed her.

When we got our food the bacon was raw on 1 side could visibly see it was only cooked on one side, the eggs were rubber, the scrambled eggs my kids got were horrendous, venue used the excuse of short staff but when we were there most staff were standing around doing nothing so that is not an excuse.

Went to a wedding at the venue and had to personally tell people who walked in randomly to leave, as it was booked for the event. Multiple of these random people tried to put their drinks on the weddings' bar tab. No security out front to stop this and the bartenders just gave drinks to anyone that walked in. Those drinks would have been charged to bride's credit card. The main meal served was a completely unseasoned piece of chicken, but at least the view was great. Wouldn't recommend as a place for a venue to anyone.
