Love this place.don't even have my own pet.
Staff is super friendly and willing to go out of their way to suggest things if they cannot find the exact thing.
"Went in once for an under water cottage figure to make a snow globe"

The second time was with the ex gf to look for cat things.
And third time "most recent" was to get a fish bowl for the same snow globe project. - yet to be completed

"THE PLACE HAS A LOCAL MILK BAR TYPE VIBE" feels very easy to ask stupid questions and not get that judgy, "are you serious right now" look. My one purely constructive criticism (for lack of things to say) is maybe paw prints claw prints etc or arrows pointing to the pets that need adoption in the back. Totally missed it the first time "walked the whole store". Second time the ex gf poked her head around to find it. The temptation to adopt them is beyond measure and heart breaking that I can't (right now) ?

Friendly staff, get all my fish supplies and mice from here. Lots of interesting animals. Definitely a favourite pet store for my needs.

I would like to thank the staff at Pet Magic Cannington. They went above and beyond to help me while I was in a distraught situation outside their shop with an unwanted 8 legged guest in my car. These three young staff members of pet magic answered a call of my husbands asking for them to help me outside as I was terrified. Thank you so much. I will always remember your help and support from today

Went too several different pet shops but no luck with what looking for until pet magic found exactly what after and reasonably priced

I haven’t been here yet but I have seen the front of it, it seems like an amazing place. I would just like to know if there are any turtles? I’m trying to buy my son a turtle for his birthday, so are there turtles? Also if I do go their I might buy some pets for my daughter. But for now are there turtles?

Nice aquarium supplier, lovely staffs and they are willing to trade your fish for store credit. Highly recommended.

Either the store is under new mgmt, or the current owners have decided to pull their finger out - the place has really turned around as of late. Everything is clean, prices are reasonable, and staff are friendly/passionate.

This is the BEST all round pet store in Perth. Their range is exceptional: whether it's hay for a rabbit, food for a mouse or guinea pig to dog and cat food you will find here and for a great price Plus anything your gonna want for any furry or scaley pet you will find it here. Their marine and salt water fish selection is next to nothing, plus a full range of necessary accessories for anything you want to keep that's not human! To top it off their prices rock and their staff are skilled and knowledgeable. We are regular visitors for our rabbit, dog and 3 cats plus get all our stuff for our salt water and fresh water fish from them. Thanks guys you really do an amazing job

Not as welcoming as it once was, feels very cluttered when compared to places such as Per Barn/Pet Stock/City Farmers. Prices not overly competitive. Great variety of stock. Plenty of different varieties of fish/reptiles. No puppies/kittens at my time of visiting - they support the adoption of rescue pets which is lovely.

They will show you the expensive version of a product you need,
then show you a cheaper option but still tell you it will work just as good as the expensive one in most cases.
Great team of staff, always brought great goldfish from them. They've helped me so many times with treating illnesses in my goldfish.
Looks like they have a great saltwater setup as well. The stores not that big but youll find what you need. Great staff

If u want friendly staff then this is the shop to go to very clean and tidy theys always someone there to help you on anything that u might need or advice keep up the great work

Navigation system didn't help us find Pet City as its around the back of the complex.
But they do have a good range of pet supplies, live pets and pet toys.

This is what pet stores should be like. Well laid out, friendly and knowledgeable staff and healthy looking pets. This has been my goto place for fish (tropical) and plants and the quality has been awesome with no sign of disease. The staff also genuinely know what they are talking about with a number of avid fishkeepeers available to guide you on your choices. Dropped a star as I think think little more transparency is needed on the source of the adorable puppies they have available. Would love for them to partner with one of the local dog adoption places for those who can't afford the $1000's often charged for the mixed breeds they offer for sale. One good thing is they do include in many cases pictures of the pups parents but I still question the source of many of these little ones. Don't let this put you off though. If I was in the market for a new dog and didn't want to adopt, all the pups look healthy and come with a care plan/vaccination certificates etc.

Pet Magic has very friendly and informative staff, especially in the reptile department. A wide range of pets varying from an exotic axolotl to a bobtail lizard to a fluffy puppy. Loved being able to cuddle the puppies, kittens and pet the Manx mice when I visited even though I didn't buy anything

Absolutely lovely service, friendly staff who aren't afraid to chat to customers (they don't run off like other stores) prices are great well stocked fish supplies from live fish to decore I much prefer driving 30 mons one way to go here than to drive 5 mins away from our closest pet barn.
