Pet Magic

Took Mum here today to get a pair of Budgies. Mum had a medical episode while in-store, the staff were terrific, concerned and accommodating. Thankfully Mums ok and the Budgies are happy too. Thanks to the team in-store. 5 stars plus!

I visited yesterday as a regular customer over a year.

Normally most of staff are kind.

But, yesterday when I pay, even I spoke to the staff I am membership and afterpay, he just charge me as normal.

And when other staff came to help him, I was not trying to explain to other staff what I spoke to him I am a membership. Cause just didn't want to see he gets in trouble with other staff.

I don't know if he didn't get it or not what I said as a membership, or just charge as he knows I pay by afterpay, but at least he should explain and he was dozing off and just scan bar code.

After get out of the shop, when I was about to get into my car, another staff came to me and explained me there is no discount if I pay by Afterpay, I understand, but he didn't need to snatch from my hand quickly as I was about to give it to him.

It is all about manner for customer service.

It is disappointing and this just makes me unhappy as a customer.

To make it right I leave comment.

Always an enjoyable experience and lovely staff to deal with.
We finally decided to get our first reptile. We decided we wanted a ridgetail monitor but couldnt seperate the 2. One of the staff members, Maddy, was ever so helpful and provided us with everything we needed to get going. Nice store, great staff.

Terrific range, especially of specialty tanks like vivariums. Nice range if fish.

Customer service was a little sparse. Was looking at fish for 20 mins with 2 staff nearby chatting about personal matters and never got offered assistance once.

I wont say this is typical and i will go back again. Will update this review after the next visit.

Plenty of interesting pets. Has salt and fresh water fish, lizards, snakes, frogs, puppies, rabbits, guinea pigs, chicks, mice, ferrets and birds. Plenty of pet food and accessories.

Tried to buy a Driftwood catfish but staff kept walking away from me. I asked politely 4 times and was told, don't know about the fish, don't know the price (which was on the tank) and the two staff would only serve other people. After 40min walked out the store.

Love the service nice staff and always have what I need will.recomend this place to anyone

Good selection of fish, reptiles, and animals very clean. All the fish looked healthy and it was a nice place to go.

Amazing pet store! I travel 30 minutes to get my supplies they have great variety of pets and one of the only few places i’ve seen in the last few years that actually have dogs, rabbits, cats, chickens ect… the staff actually remember me everytime i walk in and ask about my snake which i purchased with them and just make you feel important!

One of my favourite pet stores in Perth.
I always visit for accessories and food for my invertebrates. They have a huge variety.
Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

I love this place. Been coming in here for years. Carly is a favourite and her spider senses are on point. All the rest of the team are friendly and helpful. And they have woodies even when I cannot get them anywhere else.

Terrible costumer service, I went there to buy 2 chicks for my kids, asked me a lot of not relevant questions without even knowing their own answers. Regarding set up for chicks & they were trying to sell more items to me, at the end they insulted me with telling them lies. How dare are you. Unbelievable rude staff and rather than helping costumer to understand what they need to set up, they refused to sale what I went there for. Thumb down

I like to buy betta fish in this fantastic store, there have more fancy betta, and very beautiful, i love them, i have 1 half moon and 2 crowns, wish can have more

Best aquatic and pets shop around. Shane and his staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. Fantastic range of EVERYTHING, even have fab things for the garden. DEFINATELY do yourself a favour, grab your wallet and head to Pet Magic

Wonderful place to collect food or a special gift for your pets. Even getting a new one including reptiles.

Pet Magic in Cannington. Greats place and very friendly people. There are lots of fishes and pet foods. My kids are always going there. It is very busy during weekend and school holiday too.

Great place for fresh and salt water fish etc. Very knowledgeable staff if ya just starting out.
