Pet City Port Kennedy reviews
52This is my local pet shop, I purchased six guinea pigs here and many accessories for them, I also purchased some Krazy crabs for my son. They have a good variety of supplies and the staff are helpful and friendly. They have two dog washes so you can clean your own dog.
The team here go above and beyond to help. Everyone there is so welcoming friendly.
We are very grateful for all the hard work they put in for the care of their animals and customers. Thank you to the manager Jade and her assistance is greatly appreciated.
This is my go to store for all my pet needs.
Great store and great people. Prices reasonable and variety of stock good. Reptile sales very good. My choice over all the other chain stores
Decent variety of fish. Prices are as expected. Service was OK, not many staff knowledgeable in the fish keeping hobby.
Walked in looking for fish food and water conditioner, the 3 young staff were talking among theirselves and completely ignored me 3 times when I walked up to the desk asking for help. When they finally paid attention to me 2 of the girls told a young (assume new) worker to help me (she was very nice and helpful). Both of the other 2 workers continued to talk among theirselves. I went in again later on and I got the exact same- girls have no interest in helping customers. I won’t be going back. They were very rude.
Very little variety for the dog, staff not so friendly its like they dont want to be there, there was 1 male staff memeber who was nice and welcoming
Very short of dog biscuits stock on the day of my visit but still able to get the other things I needed. Helpful staff always.
Staff friendly and helpful, but unfortunately stock is not consistent, empty shelves with no idea when next order will be delivered. With automatic stock control you'd expect constant supplies.
Very helpful and acommonadating
The only thing I would say is the staff should ask if your a member of pet city as I forgot to say it and missed out on my discount this time, I know it's only a couple of dollars but it all helps, and that's the reason for joining
Sad to see a caged galah that belongs to a female staff member I enjoy watching free wild parrots in my back garden and your bird seed is over priced
They have a good range, generally great service and a handy policy on returning bags of purchased food if your snotty dogs don't like it. Good dog wash facilities and a very friendly macaw
The staff I have dealt with have been very friendly and knowledgable. The store had a good selection of what I needed and reasonable pricing. =)
Only place between Mandurah to Rocko that had Hills Cat food in stock. Saved me from being screamed at by my cats when we would of had to give them different food
Staff apart from manager are a bit hit n miss.
Wanted kangaroo treats, pointed to some and girl staff member wanted to close sale, body language suggested I was a theif with hanging around and offering me no more buy options.
Found more kangeroo treats whilst looking around 3 mtrs away in another isle
Left treats at desk whilst looking only at birds, long haired millennial boy with facial fluff bogged me out and raised he's voice to close sale again.
Went over to pay and was told 'we try to keep people away from the birds in case they hurt people ' I paid and went over to bird again to be bogged out.
Most of the staff were watching Dora the explorer and writing on easter egg hunts when I was coming here years back.
I try to support this business since Bunnings closed and the manager is great but no reason to swing by all the time as I can do shopping at baldivis in one hit as well as have a choice of two pet stores.
Try better?
My favourite one stop shop pet store. Always has everything I need in stock for my rabbits. And it's always cool going in there and seeing all the animals you can adopt.
This place is absolutely amazing I got my two budgies here and they are well tamed I always come back to the store to say hello and to show the workers how I’m going with my new budgies they have a wild variety of cages and birds and animals the staff are amazing and whenever you need them they are happy to help I love this place and I might go back to buy some more birdsBecause they are nurtured and hand tamed very well
Great place to get professional advice with products to suit al ll our needs from fish to farm animals, excellent service, top of our list, always feel good being there, well done!
I love coming to this store, as I always leave with great advice and new knowledge. Thanks to all the great staff.
This is my go to pet supply store, they have a huge range of stock and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, you can bring your dog in whilst shopping and even wash your dog for free there.
Great Service, my partner and I went in to buy a Guinea Pig with not much idea of everything we'd need to help look after it properly but the staff were very helpful in pointing us in the right direction and sharing what we'd need to take care of our little baby the best we can, would definitely recommend.
