Thank you to Perth Vet Emergency for all their help with my beautiful cat George late Friday night! The team were amazing in helping him with his injured paw. They were extremely thorough and gentle in the consultation and went above and beyond to make sure George was taken care of. He is on the mend now and is looking forward to having the cone of shame removed) Thank you again, I would highly recommend Perth Vet Emergency to everyone.

Great to know there's somewhere I can take my newly adopted greyhound when she decides to eat dirty socks at 5am on a Saturday morning. I called, PVE told me to bring her in straight away, and a vet was available to get that sock out.

Arrived at 3am with a very uncomfortable puppy (UTI), which is a stressful but non-critical issue. We were treated quickly and kindly despite it not really being an emergency by Louisa, who walked me through all our options and exactly what to do when I got home. She even wrote up detailed instructions for me so that I could process everything in the morning once I’d properly woken up.
Great follow up as well, I received a text to check that pup was responding well to treatment.

Thank you!

We had to unexpectedly take our cat Nacho to the vet after he quickly went down hill with continuous vomiting and lethargy. All the staff were so calming, thorough and incredibly helpful!

Nacho had to stay overnight for some treatment and investigations which thankfully didn’t end up being too serious.

The lovely staff gave us regular updates to ensure us our little man was doing okay. We got to pick him up the next morning as he responded so well to the treatment and their immaculate care.

The service was amazing and worth every dollar! And in saying that was incredibly reasonable in cost given the amount of care and resources our cat received with comprehensive explanation and breakdown of costs and recommended avenues of treatment.

If you need an emergency vet absolutely bring your pet here, they will be in very safe hands.

Thank you again.

Shout out to the amazing vets & reception who kept us calm at 1am when our cat had breathing troubles. Helpful, understanding and payment options.

The team at Perth Vet Emergency are absolutely amazing. They carried out a thorough examination of my cat's swollen paw making sure they identified the root cause of his swollen paw and made sure he got pain relief straight away to ease his discomfort. The vets and nurses at PVE went above and beyond in providing us with the best treatment and giving me peace of mind in the middle of the night when all other vets are closed. I have been to PVE in the past with middle of the night vet emergencies and will continue to go there if there ever is another emergency as the team at PVE always make sure that my fur baby receives the best possible treatment. Thank you very much Perth Vet Emergency!

Raced here when my nine week old Chihuahua puppy needed urgent care and I’m so glad we came here. Truely felt like the best possible hands he could have been in. Everybody was so caring and he got all the attention he could have needed. They also send you texts with updates and pictures and it puts your mind at ease. If your pet needs emergency care this is the place to go to!

After my kitten had surgery, she was transported to Perth Vet Emergency for the night so that she could be watched over and receive post-surgery care for the night. Upon arriving we were greeted by a friendly face and all the staff that I interacted with were kind and empathetic. I was nervous leaving my kitten somewhere overnight for the first time but the team assured me it was fine for me to call check in how she was going at any time and also they sent me photos overnight to show she was settled. When I called they gave me an update and I was able to pick her up early in the morning.
Over the weekend I also needed to ask a question and they answered very quickly and were able to provide advice on what I should do.
If your pet requires emergency care I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Perth Vet Emergency, as a pet owner they made me feel comfortable and any question I asked they were knowledgeable and very helpful.

The care and expertise of the staff here is outstanding. It was such a stressful time for my partner and I when our elderly cat was ill, but we received excellent advice both on the phone and fantastic treatment once we presented at the clinic. The staff were so kind and understanding, giving us solid advice and also providing us time to consider options for our cats treatment and they relayed all of the necessary info to our regular vet the next day. Really can't express our gratitude enough. If you're looking for professional and compassionate care for your pet in an emergency, this is the best place to go

I brought my cat Ederson in for a consultation after he had what appeared to be a sore tummy. Dr Hayley quickly established that he had an issue with his intestines that required correcting via surgery. I am forever grateful to Drs Hayley, Steph and Kim and all of the wonderful staff at PVE for looking after Ederson and keeping him comfortable and happy before, during and after his surgery. The staff were caring and compassionate and I felt completely at ease and confident that Ederson was in safe hands and receiving the best possible care. Big thanks to Shamilla who was patient and kind upon Ederson’s discharge when explaining exactly how I was to take care of him in order to keep him comfortable. Thank you all so much!

This review is well and truly over due but our cat Floyd ate a highly Toxic Lilly flower at the end of February this year and ended up requiring ongoing treatment and care right up until mid April which meant he spent quite some time here at PVE. I truly cannot begin to express how amazing they were. We were in and out of there either daily or every few days through that time and we were just so blown away by the quality of care that was extended not only to Floyd but also to my partner and I through what was an incredibly stressful time both mentally & financially. The entire team from reception staff to the vet staff were so lovely and helpful and while I don’t think that this kind of ongoing, longer term care is typical for them as it is an emergency vet, they did such a good job with it. They went above and beyond to make us feel supported. Like it just really felt as though they genuinely cared about him and were really invested in getting him through with the best outcome possible. They patiently answered our millions of questions, helped us through the many moments of chaos that arose through that time and just all across the board displayed such a high level of expertise and empathy that helped us feel safe leaving Floyd in their care. I’m very happy to say that he did make a full recovery and is doing really well now and we will definitely be recommending PVE to anyone we know who needs them.

Found a wounded cat in my back yard, dropped him off here and they were lovely, reassuring and kind, and a few days after they sent us a sweet postcard, because we dropped the cat off

This is a belated review of the service we received for not one but two chocolate emergencies for our two dogs in 2020. Eek.

We had not used PVE before the first emergency visit but it turned out they were close to home and happy to see us ASAP.

The second chocolate emergency happened on Chrismas Day. The dogs were seen and treated fairy quickly and Louisa's team checked in to see how the dogs were a few days later.

Best of all, they handled all of our insurance paperwork. All I needed to provide after the first visit was the policy numbers.

Hoping we don't need to return in a hurry but would not hesitate to recommend if you live in the area.

Took my little chihuahua here after she was knocked off the bed, hurting her back legs. From the moment I entered to the moment I left the staff have been very attentive, kind, caring and considerate. They were able to see me right away despite my usual clinics and emergency vets not being able to. I’d have no problem highly recommending PVE for their care, staff, and facilities.

Great service after my dog had a seizure - they swiftly dealt with him and followed up really well afterward - really good service.

I had such a good experience with my 9 week old puppy at Perth Vet Emergency. He had been really lethargic so I took him in to get checked out. I thought I might’ve been being neurotic but the staff were all so friendly and kind and heard and validated my concerns. Turns out he had a virus and the vet that I dealt with was really good at explaining to me what was going on and why they were doing what they were. I had to leave him there for blood tests and I was comforted to be told that he didn’t like being in the crate so they took him out and let him sit on the nurses laps the whole time I was able to take my puppy home feeling confident that he would be okay! I had previously taken family dogs here as well and received just as good service! If only they weren’t only emergencies I’d use them as a regular vet

Had to rush my terminally ill 16 yo shar pei there on Sat 13/03/21. He injured himself requiring staples. Dr Stephanie Patterson treated him. She remembered him from 5 years ago when she checked his history. They are not cheap but reasonable in comparision to other emergency vets. The objective is to stabilise the animal and ongoing treatment is by the owners vet. A report is emailed directly to the regular vet. PVE also has an excellent Pet First Aid book written for WA conditions.

My only complaint was the receptionist handing me a clipboard to fill in details when I was holding a blind dog with Osteospondalitis and Sundowners
Delium who was in a distressed state in a location he was unsure of with a leg injury that was bleeding. A bit of common sense should have prevailed.

My old boy is recovering as well as expected under the circumstances

When I took off the sticker on the bottle.i was thinking why would you charge 43.8 dollars on a chlorsig eyedrop that only costs 9 dollars from the chemist if you truly want to help animals. Why don't you tell the owner to buy it from chemist instead?

Perth Vet Emergency looked after my girl a couple of nights when she was very sick, everyone who worked there were wonderful. I loved the good night photos they sent to let me know she was in good hands.
