This was a fun and interactive morning out for my family and I. Ranger Red was welcoming, provided a map and let us know where to look for the daily timetable. The keepers were happy to answer questions and let us pat/feed the animals. Our highlights were feeding the Ostrichs and seeing soo many different types of birds. Bird lovers, this is a must! It took us about 2hrs (without kids) and Id certainly recommend it. Thank you to Ranger Ted and his team for helping us make memories.

Personally and this is my opinion but I'm so happy we didn't have the kids with us because I didn't want them to C our national animals our code of arms looking so miss treaten the whole place had a real feel of neglect.

Fantastic wildlife park with a wide variety of animals that are obviously well taken care of. Our toddler loved it. Especially the walkthrough aviary. (The birds are very friendly)
Can't wait to see how this park develops in the future.

The updates are fantastic. Still a great place to visit. My kids have a great time. I must say the map with everyone’s names is such a great touch.

Plenty of birds they have. Some snakes. Farm animals and amazingly some animals that I've rarely seen, like Tasmanian dragon, numbat, etc.
Can feed and touch the animals which is very nice. If you pass the parrots watch your language as they talk.
Price was a bit high and was a pity that they don't have some proper horses. Just one single pony is not enough.

Ranger red zoo is a great place to take anybody who wants a more hands-on experience than a larger zoo.if you have visitors from overseas and they want to get up close to a kangaroo this is definitely place to take them. Heaps of Australian native wildlife. They also cater for larger groups including birthday parties for kids.

Nice place if your kids love the animals, staff very freindly, plenty of shade, plenty of animals to touch.

Looks really run down and unkept
Needs a good clean up, gone downhill with the new owners
If your going to spend the money go to caversham wildlife park

My Granddaughter was thrilled to see the many different Bird Species. I especially enjoyed seeing the Tassie Devils moving around their enclosure.

Not a bad zoo with a good range of animals, but slightly pricey I feel. Could have a better place for picnic or family resting place.

This placed is overpriced for what it is, lower your prices, or use the money you make to curb the obvious fly issue you have, making the visit very disappointing. Aussies ripping off Aussies, not nice.

Great Australian Zoo. Definitely check it out! Ranger Red is a great and knowledgeable guy and it is clear how much he cares and respects the animals in his care. Thank you for a great outing. The adults and kids loved it equally.

Excellent for kids, very hands on. Give yourself atleast 2hrs, the only downfall is no real food for lunch so pack a picnic. We will be back for sure.

Friendly helpful staff.
Relaxed atmosphere.
Your free to go where you like as long as you respect the signs put about for yours and the animals safety.
However, maybe some authorised control in the walk through bird enclosure lol
And more BBQ areas for picnics.
Overall a great place to handfeed and touch animals.

I had an amazing time, the animals are beautiful and the baby goats & lambs were adorable. Got some lovely photos of these brilliant animals.

A must-visit on your trip to the Peel Region. Great family destination for all ages.
With a focus on wildlife conservation and education, you'll enjoy the interactions available at the zoo.
Picnic area also available with barbecues.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Room to take a pram around, but not too big that little ones will tire from walking.

Nice variety. Needs a bit of maintenance though. Coffee shop, toilets and a few tables for picnic.

My toddler enjoyed getting to pat the kangaroos and the staff were nice but that's all that I can say about it being nice. The sheep were so fat I'm surprised they could stand up. Enclosures for everything except the birds were nothing but dirt. The animals looked so sad and miserable. Will never visit again nor recommend it.
