Paruna Wildlife Sanctuary

Scenic nature reserve. About an hour plus drive from Perth. Parking and toilets available on site. Need to arrange by phone for payment to visit. 3 hiking trails offered. Trail well marked.

Lovely place, beautiful walks. The scenery is spring is gorgeous, as is the juxtaposition of wildflowers, cycads and grass trees. Nice picnic spots with a view as well.

Did the Numbat trail, one of the more challenging tracks I have done. Alot of elevations and decents along the entire track.

One of my favourite hikes around the Perth region. Very well kept trails through a variety of vegetation. Never gets boring! Especially wonderful during wildflower season.
Bookings and payment must be made prior as the gate is locked with a code.

Do not go without booking!
We went without booking and the doors to the lookout were closed!

Highly recommended. Great place for hiking, particularly in spring when the wildflowers are out. Not an easy trail though.

Excellent scenery and walking trails in this park. Make sure you book access via their website prior to going as the site is enclosed and gated.

Amazing hike. Steep and challenging Numbat trail offered great views. Very well maintained but must book via email or call during the week to gain entry.

Fantastic wildlife sanctuary with its 3 trails. We did the longest trail and it was amazing for something just outside of Perth. The place is very well kept.
