Panorama Caravan Park reviews
66Duncan was super friendly. Camping right next to the water with many beautiful resident swans to look at.
What an amazing park!
Wanted to keep this place a secret but credit where credit is due.
Perfect location out of town to explore the area for a few nights.
The guy running the place needs a medal. Best service anywhere from an employee. He's a legend. Super helpful and friendly.
The one issue we did have was the camp kitchen and bathroom facilities just isn't adequate for the amount of people they put in there. No prep area, one kettle and microwave and sink for hundred people.was quite difficult to share and take turns which frustrated many around.
The bathroom is old and outdated and only two showers and two toilets for so many people just isn't enough
Definitely coming back, loved our stay nonetheless.
Great location, perfect for people with a campervan. Duncan was so friendly, even gave us some suggestions for our trip to Denmark. Was windy but didn’t bother us. Only cost $35 for powered site during peak season!
Beautiful place! Clean air, facilities good. Highly recommended. Lovely stay. Will be back again for sure.
Very helpful and obliging manager. Great location and view. Sheltered from the southern and westerly stormy weather.
Fantastic place to stay! Views are amazing and facilities clean. Management was very friendly! Will return!
Quite a nice and cozy place to stay. You can see gorgeous sunrise from here. They has a little jetty on the waterfront.
Perfect camp spot right on the water watching the pelicans, amazing views. Shower and toilet and amenities were clean and worked fine. $30 for 2 people on an unpowered site.
Came here 14 yrs ago and I am back with my family and it's beautiful out here just as it was years ago! Friendly people and staff, clean amenities and just outright awesome. Love it here. Thankyou
Location, location, location.
If you're after a 5 star park with all the bells and whistles, this certainly isn't the park for you. However, if you want a modest and basic park with million dollar views, then this it.
The park has a very limited number of toilet / shower facilities, but as we have shower & toilet in our van this wasn't a problem for us. The park toilets & showers are quite basic, but they are clean.
The whole atmosphere was one of relaxation and tranquility. At high tide, I could sit under the awning of my van and throw the ball into the water for my dogs to play fetch.
There is a resident flock of pelicans at the end of the jetty and every morning we woke to a beautiful sunrise and birds singing.
It is perfectly located and is only about 10 k's from the heart of Albany town and is also only a short drive from tourist attractions such as the salmon holes, whaling station, wind farm, the gap and the natural bridge.
The park is also very dog friendly and the foreshore and shallow water is a great place for them to run and play.
Pricing was very reasonable at $35 per night (right on the water front) with power and water. We paid for 6 nights and got the 7th night free.
(The park manager Duncan is super friendly and extremely helpful).
Big sites. Owner Duncan is a great guy very friendly. Large sites plenty hot water for showers amenities old but clean. Would recommend can be very windy. Great place to stay
Top place to stay, very reasonable prices, heading to Albany must stay here, walking distance to the beach for fishing. Management A1. Very friendly.
Lovely place by the bay, had a really good spot near the water. Pups loved their walks along the sandy beach. Down side, old toilet and laundry facilities and camp kitchen. Could do with an upgrade. Very friendly owners.
This is the best place to relax 100m from water cockles, herring and salmon. Oh, the owner Duncan does an awesome job, very happy young man
The skyline of Albany, yes that is beautiful. But the rest of the campsite is old, dirty and unworn. One night is more than enough.
Panorama is so peaceful and relaxing we decided to stay a few more nights we will be back for sure
Quiet and peaceful with wonderful view over the bay. The owners were lovely and gave us sardines to give to the pelicans who were loitering around the pier. A great spot if you plan to walk Flinders Peninsula.
Great place. Simple facilities, good rates, water front location.
A way out of town but not crazy.
Highly recommend.
Absolutely fantastic plenty of space, clean amenities, very friendly manager very obliging and happy. Would very highly recommend this caravan and camping park.
4 stars for location and atmosphere. Best spots are next to the water with great views of sunsets and the town of Albany across the bay. Facilities are not the best but I guess compensated by the positives. Manager is also friendly and helpful. Great place for fishing and crabbing if you're into it.
