I have been a patient of Dr Davies for a great number of years due to 2 spinal fusions from an accident She is the most understanding professional caring Dr you could meet I tell all my friends if you need a pain specialist she is the one to go too. I would not go to anyone else She is the best

Dr Davies has been my specialist for 15 years and is always on top of emerging pain management ideas and strategies. She has developed a clinic that utilizes different disciplines to support patients’ needs. Highly recommended.

I have been treated by Dr Stephanie Davies several times in the past for intractable pain. She was quick to identify, with a deep understanding of chronic problems and most kind at all times. Dr Ravi is endlessly patient and supportive. I have no idea how I would have managed in the last few years without the support of the two of them. (And I have to say that if some patients have been kept waiting a little longer than they would have liked, the problem may well have been that a patient needed more time - it could just as easily have been themselves in that position.)

Painless health has been nothing but incredible to me through my chronic pain problems. The staff were very friendly, and the physiotherapist there managed to help me diagnose and fix my chronic back pain.

The shinning star I needed in my life. I concluded that their treatments are the single thing that turned my life around.

Would give them 0 stars if I could, save yourself the money and stress and go somewhere else. Extremely unprofessional, rude, incompetent and seem to be only after money. Anything that could go wrong, did go wrong; lost forms, 'forgetting' to sign a form during a session so they could charge for another, getting my name and medical details wrong, referring to another clinic for the wrong procedure, failing to book a follow up to a single appointment/treatment, insisting it was impossible to submit a medicare claim without me physically swiping my card in their office (despite them having done just that in previous appointments and other drs doing it all the time, with details kept on file), filling in medicare forms with another doctors details because they forget to write down my referral, constantly blaming me for their failures and responding rudely to all communications, the doctors and the office not knowing each other's procedures and being surprised when one side booked me in for something the other didn't know about, telling me to ask a different clinic for details on a procedure they were booking me in for as they couldn't answer any questions, the works. And yes, I tried bringing these issues up with both the office and the owner and got the same response: ignoring most of my complaints, being rude and denying any wrongdoing. I would not be surprised if they denied everything in response to this review. And despite going through all of that, I have had no resolution to my pain.

I have been seeing Dr Davies for over an year now. I highly recommend her as a kind n understanding doctor, we have tried a number of medications and I am now getting some relief, she also arranged injections thru Mark Hamlin at Capital Radiation Clinic.
Overall without the support from Dr Davies I wouldnt be able to function at all.
I also see Physiotherapist Felicity Campbell & Psychologist Matt Miller who have been wonderful as well

DO NOT consider treatment from Painless, there methodology is aimed at creating an ongoing preserved dependence on the service which they provide at a costly price, FYI the public health system provides the same range of medical specialist at no cost to the patient, further more the public health system maintains a single patient file consisting if all treatment information and communication between specialists is seamless, unlike Painless, every appointment with each different specialist I had to go over the same stuff because the left hand could not talk to the right hand and none of them knew what the other specialist was doing regarding treatment which resulted in conflicting information and counter productive treatment sessions.
End result I have been able to manage and cope with my pain 100% better in the last 3 weeks as opposed to the 6 months of “pain treatment” I was receiving while under the treatment of painless.

Please for you own physical and mental stability do not seek treatment from the company

Eternal gratitude to Dr Nicholas Cooke, Dr Stephanie Davies and Edwina Bassingthwaighte. 2 years of chronic pain and I was existing not living. I had previously visited several physiotherapists, general practitioners, chiropractors and an orthopaedic surgeon to little or no avail and ended up on high doses of opioids. The painless clinic was my last hope. With sceptisism I agreed to see Physiotherapist Edwina Bassingthwaite. The difference in what she does to other physios was remarkable and the results amazed me. Dr Davies injected my facet joints with cortisone. (that woman is a genius with the needle). Results after 2 days were also wonderful. Then Dr Cooke injected my occipital nerves and slowly weaned me off opioids. I will continue to visit Edwina who is working on releasing tense muscles and strengthening the correct muscles. I follow her advice religiously. I would also like to mention the office staff who are king, caring and encouraging. Information is always emailed promptly. Thank you, thank you, thank you. By the time I was referred to Painless health I was desperate for help! I had experienced severe chronic pain for 8 years following an accident at work. I had been to around 9 pain specialist and with no improvement to my pain I had given up on life. Dr Stephanie Davies was a breath of fresh air. On our first appointment I was able to talk, ask question and cry. Steph took the time to listen and hear my journey. Together we came up with a management plan that included things out side the box. Mostly what I love about painless health is that they still haven’t given up on me. My only wish is that I had painless health from the start.

I was suicidal but they gave me hope. Other pain specialists had said they could not help me when stock treatments didn’t suit my condition. Painless gave me options, it’s taken some time but now my situation is manageable and I am in a position to come of my other meds. Without painless I would be dead.

Many thanks to Dr Cooke for his help last year. He made my life so much better. He is very special the way he sorts out all the problems. I really appreciate him.
Dr Davies also makes me feel so at ease when I go into theatre with her understanding and reassurance.
Thank you Painless for all your help

To everybody at "Painless Clinic"
Every day, since my last operation, my thoughts have been with you all, but I have delayed writing, being uncertain of the duration of the "miracle" you have given me.
As this gift is ongoing I can without hesitation express my heartfelt gratitude to you all- Firstly to Professor S. Davies and Dr N. Cooke for persevering with patience and empathy and using your expertise, resulting in my being pain free and mobile.
Secondly-Rachel, Emily, Caz, Jules, Kibby, Lauren and Emma. (I hope I included everybody)
Thirdly- to Edwina for her expert guidance.
As words do feel inadequate in expressing my appreciation, I will continue praying for you all that God will reward you for the wonderful work you do for others.
Ever gratefully
Maureen

DO NOT WASTE your time or money on this place! I've had chronic back pain for over a decade and wasn't expecting a miracle, but I was expecting to have my concerns heard and move towards an effective solution. Instead I sat in the Dr's office on 2 appointments where they couldn't load my CT Scans, and therefore couldn't make any decisions or referrals. That LITERALLY cost me over $600. Absolutely taking advantage of people. What a joke.

I cannot thank Dr Cooke and Dr Davies enough for helping me with my chronic lower back pain I have suffered over the past 18 months. Not only have I gained a good understanding of my injury, underwent two procedures to help with the pain that was sending me out of my mind, attending extended in-house treatment for my rehabilitation but also learning valuable techniques to help live everyday life which have all greatly and positively contributed to my ongoing recovery. You have given me a quality of life back and a hopeful future.
Thank you also to the lovely staff who are always friendly, helpful and patient.

I have had chronic back pain for 30 years. I have been evaluated by many specialists, doctors, chiropractors and physio's with varying levels of success. Laying down was the worst for me so I had very poor sleep and had become dependent on codeine and other drugs. I found myself taking more & more with less relief plus their side effects made it very difficult to work.
It was suggested I try the Painless Clinic. My initial consultation was 45min with Dr Nicholas Cooke - a GP who specialises in pain management. I really felt like he understood me and cared! He suggested I see one of their psychologists & physiotherapists plus Dr Stephanie Davies, who happens to be his wife but is also an anaesthetist and pain specialist.
Tracey (the phsyio) really listened to my story. Along with her detailed assessment & being able to use my collective records - allowed her to adjust the exercises for my "body, " - not just general exercises given out by most physio's (that can be found on the internet).
My appointments with Mary (one of the psychologists) are very helpful in understanding "the pain cycle" and how it is affecting me directly. I often find myself using her suggestions if I'm having a pain flair or in other aspects of my life.
Finally, Dr Stephanie has been great, she ties everything together and performs procedures if needed.
The clinic sell a book, which I bought called Rewire Your Pain. It's an easy read and helpful. They also sell a supplement called PEA I tried it, it didn't help me but they gave me the statistics of it assisting pain so I gave it a go. I know PEA works for many people and can also be purchased from them at the same price as my local pharmacy.
I absolutely recommend the Painless Clinic and all their staff.
