Lovely birthday party with 14 people, grounds are gorgeous, food was delicious and quick to arrive but the staff did seem to be a bit spread thin with so many big tables booked.

Had mothers day there bit disappointed. Food wasn't hot as baemaries werent hot and barramundi wasnt cooked through (my piece) not a fan of brisket? Its mothers day brisket really? And y brussel sprouts? And nothing really for kids to eat except icecream. I did like the platter on seating that was lovely.

Had such a great Mother's Day at Oakover yesterday!
We had a large family gathering of over 20 people including a baby, toddlers, fussy kids, right through to great grand mother's and the beautiful buffet breakfast catered to us all!
Thank you to Jacki and her wonderful staff who successfully created a calm and relaxed atmosphere even though it was an extremely busy day.can't wait for Father's Day to do it all over again!

Had a Mothers Day booking, food was freezing, and the service was poor, and our complaint was badly handled as if we were an inconvenience.

Great food on the verandah overlooking the vineyards, with a little playground for kids to entertain themselves.

The best prawn linguini I have ever had. Anchovies for the win. Hubby had Steak sandwich and was also delicious.

Had our mothers 90th birthday lunch at Oakover. There were 40 of us ranging from 2 years to 97 years. We had a great time. Staff were lovely, food excellent and with the lake, boats and grassed area much entertainment for the kids giving everybody a very relaxed time. Thanks Roshan and staff for making mums birthday a very special time for her

We came here for breakfast, suggested by another guest and heard about it from their radio advertising. It was a hot morning and either they don't have AC or it cannot cope. I would avoid it in the heat. The food was good though the menu was limited. The field mushrooms were the star of the dish I had - the menu listed spicy beans but they didn't show up on the plate. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained. Definitely picnic worthy but that is not allowed. They sell picnic food etc. However not allowed to consume on the grounds - seems like a missed opportunity, why bother selling picnic foods?

Roshan was amazing to deal with. We had a great hens party in the barrel bar. Thank you, we will be visiting again.

So many great options to hangout, eat and drink. Food was delicious and service with a smile and always willing to help. Will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic experience. Food and staff were very friendly and accommodating with our large party. Kids had a blast on the paddle tractors on the water. Great setting will be back

If you have kids, you will love this place! The food is yummy and the serving size is generous. The coffee was really good. We didn’t have time for wine tasting unfortunately. Maybe next time!

They have a nice playground and plenty of space for your kids to run around.

Really nice place clean and tidy! Food average, nice products and maybe just some lack of cooking skill! What make me give low star is a really disappointing customer service!
Starting with the drink at the barrel…. Who served us wine had absolutely no idea about what he was serving, he served us two glass of merlot completely off, looking like Marsala, and only when we made him taste it he realised! And finally having a really bad experience at the Restaurant ;staff really low skilled but understandable in this tough period, with a management handling a simple issue with one dish in a very unprofessional way and not even giving us time to finish our dishes before let the staff take ours plates from the table, shutting the blinds and turning of fans in a hot and humid day! We understand the closing time but be flexible is part of the hospitality world and overall avoid the rudeness is the first rule for a good customer service. If you accept an order of main course at 3.20 pm you must allow your customers to enjoy the dishes and the time that they choose to spend at your place.

Had lunch there yesterday with the kids. The food was nice, not spectacular. Be prepared to wait in a queue to order food and drinks - I really hope they start looking at table service in future. The wine was lovely but I wasn't keen waiting another 20 mins in a line to get one.

Just came for a coffee. Ordered at the counter after waiting for ages to be served. Drinks were good and the grounds were lovely. Only 2 paddle boats available and the people using them were not giving them up. Maybe a sign stating 10 minutes only or similar would be good.

Seems that customer service seems to be a general issue here…

The chicken dish was delicious.
My friend was disappointed with the bean salad, however, the customer service regards to this issue was faultless.
In particular a fabulous staff member named Alison went above and beyond to rectify the problem.
Oakover grounds employer we would like to acknowledge Alison, her customer service was outstanding, and left us feeling we would definitely come back, she is an asset to your team.
