I hired a Mitsubishi Pajero for my family camping trip. The team at Northside Rentals, Greenwood, were helpful and efficient. The car was reliable, comfortable and exactly what we required. I would highly recommend Northside Rental. This is the second rental car I have hired this year from Northside Rentals (Busselton and Greenwood) and have found them to be a great service with great vehicle options. Thank you Northside.

Elderly house mate hired a car through these guys returned it 3/4 months ago no mention of anything owing and they've have just cleaned her bank account out and are refusing to communicate not very professional at all and this will be taken further

I have hired from the Welshpool office on numerous occasions, however this time my friend who lives closer to Greenwood needed a vehicle. Of course as expected like Welshpool, Greenwood was amazing and very accommodating! Highly recommended!

Do not use this company they hold onto your deposit via manual transaction back into your bank account. They should be doing it automatically through the eftpos machine but they make you wait up to 10 business days. They take the money out of your account the day you hire the car but after returning my car 9 days ago I am still waiting for my deposit back.

I needed a ute or van for a week to move house. The Northside team were really helpful in assisting me to select the right vehicle. I ended up hiring a van. Their pricing was also the cheapest I could find in Perth, and the vehicle was virtually brand new. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

My family and I hired a 4WD for a trip down south from Northside Rentals. The team were really friendly and helpful. They upgraded me on arrival and the car was fantastic. Will definitely be using them again.

I am not at all impressed with this company. The office opens from 8am - 12: 30pm on a Saturday and, unlike most vehicle rental companies, there is no after hours drop off for the key? ! Not ideal when you work all week and have to move house on a weekend.
My son's wife was very ill on Sunday morning so he was late returning the vehicle on Sunday; he was 3 hours late (we collected the truck at 10am on Saturday so it should have been back by 10am Sunday).
I was charged for a full extra day, even though the office closes at 1pm on a Sunday so the vehicle would not have been leased anyway.
A total rip off. I will definitely not be a returning customer. Budget and Thrifty are far more ethical and commercially minded.

FIRST TIME TO USE THEIR SERVICE AND IT WILL DEFINITELY BE THE LAST I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW HARD IT IS TO DEPOSIT $500 back I shouldn’t have to chase for my money this is very unprofessional the staff unprofessional! Service unprofessional timing unprofessional

I wish I’d read the reviews before hiring my car, it seems some of us had a similar experience. Upon arriving at the Greenwood location to collect the car. The receptionist walked straight pass me without even acknowledging my presence. She was extremely rude. My booking was made for 9am pickup, after completing the paperwork, I waited a further 20 minutes for the car to be cleaned. I finally left at 9: 50am without an acknowledgement of the wait time. Upon dropping the car off, I completed all the necessary paperwork and was given a carbon receipt for my bond refund. What I can’t understand is the company has used EFT to withdraw all monies from my account but won’t refund via EFT. The business owners need a little education on banking in the 21st century. Refunds can be made via the EFT machine with minimal hassle and costs to the their customers. The negative reviews go back a year ago with similar complaints to my own. Clearly the owners aren’t open to change or taking on feedback. My message is for future renters, don’t waste your time or money.

Be careful of their big extra charges when the vehicle is returned to them in immaculate condition.those LIMITED Kilometres will Sting most of your deposit if you're not careful! I lost nearly $450 of a $500 deposit
The car we hired was gorgeous.pity Northside service didn't match up

We have used Northside Rentals few times when we visit Perth for our holidays. We like their lower rates and the cars are new.

Hired a car here for one week - enquired when booking whether there was additional charges for excess and told no but when I arrived there was an extra $120 charge on top of what I was quoted. While I had the rental the battery died twice, the first time I was stranded. When I rang to complain they said they would sort me out.got nothing!

This company still lives in the 20th century when it comes to payment. Every other rental company I’ve used is happy for me to email them my drivers license and pay with my phone. I don’t carry those things anymore as most business’ work with electronic forms of payment and documentation.

To add to this they are under staffed with having only 1 person at reception dealing with customers. Overall the customer experience was horrible. You’ve wasted my time!

Require a 500 dollar deposit paid in cash.two weeks later and still getting excuses as to how it must be a bank issue, and that there's been some issues lodging paperwork with them.not sure that we are ever going to see that deposit again.they seem extremely dodgy

This place is by Far the the most unprofessional rental place We’ve been to. First of all they gave us paper work that was half filled out, she said there was a dent on the door but never noted that on our paper work. After dropping it off I waited in the office and the machanic said there was a nail in the tyre, which I had no problem paying however when I went to see, they had the tyre on the table and the nail sitting next to the tyre. They should of asked me to look at it while the tyre was still on the vehicle. We said We didn’t feel comfortable paying for the repair as how were we to know that tyre came from that vehicle. We got home and called them up to try and resolve this matter and the woman pretending not to hear me and put the phone down. And nothing has been communicated for 2 days, no apology for their actions and today we just received a text to say they are taking to repair money out of the bond. We are so disgusted in the behaviour of the woman we spoke to she was horrible and definitely gave us a reason to never return. We also got no paper work to state that we returned the vehicle and know one explained to me what the protocol was. Very very disappointed.
