Noranda Medical Centre

I politely asked the lady at the reception where to get my blood test done because I am not familiar with this place. She replied to me quite rudely, she made it seem like I bothered her when I was just asking a simple question.
Then when I ended up getting the blood test done, a different lady did it for me but she rushed it and didn’t do what other professionals would do. She didn’t take her time with it and basically stabbed the needle in my arm, without giving me any warning. When I usually get blood tests, it’s so simple and I only get a small dot of blood, but with this lady, I ended up bleeding A LOT and ended up with a bruise. My arm still hurts and I got this done 7 hours ago. She did a rough job. I wouldn’t recommend this place, they do not care about you.

Avoid Dr Helen Lu. I was going through severe personal issues and her response was to mock me when I broke down. Truly an awful person!

Staff always kind, considerate, and helpful. I usually see Dr Gaebler and consider him a brilliant diagnostician. He often runs late because he does not rush his patients in and out, but his skills and patience make the wait worth while.

Apart from Dr Hawkins and Dr Gabler (the new doctor), I've found the doctors cold, rushing you through, no empathy, zilch caring factor. One of the female doctors stands up whilst you are still speaking to her and she rudely opens the door before you've finished. You are doctors and your role is to listen carefully to people's ailments, not to get as many people through the door. I noticed they even hate explaining things and get angry if you ask too many questions. If you love your health, choose the doctor who really cares, not just puts on a fake smile. Speak to Georgie if you're not happy. She's great.

I saw a doctor at this centre today she was completely incompetent and should not be practicing med, Did not listen and mis diagnosed. I received better advice from the pharmacist next door would never attend this so called private clinic again your a disgrace!

I wouldn't even give one star. If your appointment runs late its because the doctor hasn't even shown up for work on time. Absolutely rubbish

Dr Roland Gaebler has been my family doctor for around 8 years, he is very professional and knowledgeable, I find him to be non judgmental and approachable with a kind manner. I have had good experiences here.

I give absolutely NO stars, had to choose one to get this posted,
Being a potential first time patient/customer, I get an email stating please come early 10 minutes to complete form, so I turn up 10 minutes early as requested, the receptionist says " oh I don't know why they asked you to do that, as the doctor has 6 patients before you, and it's going to be a long wait". Consequently I was disgusted as anyone would be with this gross display of greed, yes GREED, as no one would normally be THAT behind even with an emergency in between, if they were even the slightest bit organised, so I told them I do not have the time, which I did not, so I walked out, never to return.
The worst service, yes service, as we patients are actually 'customers" - it's how they make their money people, if you can sort your problem out naturally, which is usually better, please do that wherever you can, and do not bother with this practice at all. Just wrong in so many ways, greedy greedy greedy. Disgusting, enough to make you sick!

Booked the first appointment at 10am yet doctor didnt even arrive at 10.30 - was told this was normal. Not good enough. This will be my last visit here

Disgusting service, I was involved in a road rage incident where I was choked, which left some lacerations on my neck, I went in to see Dr Lu explained I needed a note of my injury and she refused to do anything, didn't even look at me and told me to leave. Said she didn't want to help. I thought doctors had a duty of care, I guess not.

Its been over an hour and still waiting for my turn.really the worse practice i've attended. I wish I had read the review first

Dont expect to feel better after seeing the doc.the wait time will surely tire you and you will be drained of whatever energy you have left.

Constantly long waits and by far one of the wosrt practices in Perth! Go anywhere else, trust me.

Terrible. Every single time i come i end up waiting over an hour past my scheduled appointment. Intentionally came an hour late today to find out there is still 2 patients ahead of me.

I had to wait a while but hey, when the clinic is busy it can be expected. Dr helen lu is amazing. Iucky i didnt really trust the reviews. She is very upfront without the usual dr BS. Will definitely go to see Dr Lu again.

This place is a joke waiting over an hour every time and they give attitude when u let them know u have been waiting a long time. Over booked/understaffed and when u finally get to see a doctor they rush u out. Seems these doctors get paid on how many people they see.

Went to the dentist next door with my wife and was told to go to nearest doctor and get a penicillin injection for a severe tooth infection that would cause hospitalisation that night if not attended to promptly. Saw Dr Lu and my god what a hopeless incompetent Dr. She refused to give a penicillin shot and advised us only a pain killer was required like panadol. Such an arogant woman who was completely wrong as the next doctor we went to, with my wife now in tears, agreed it was highly infected and promptly gave her the injection. This Dr Lu needs to be struck off the register as she is completely clueless. Half the time talking to her it seemed like she was on drugs. Avoid this place like the plague, our family doctor of many years moved into this complex but after our experience with Dr Lu we are done with these corporate clinics where it is just about the coin.

I have been seeing the same Doctor who works at this centre for 20 years, I always find them very accomodating and Dr's & staff friendly and professional. My last 2 visits I have had to wait 5-10 minutes. I travel 35 minutes to visit this centre (even though I have a Dr surgery 1 minute from my house) I would recommend Noranda to anyone.

It is in your best interest to avoid Dr Helen Lu whose manner is impatient, arrogant and harsh. I concur with some of the other negative reviews about this doctor. She has treated my elderly mother appallingly, her consistently pompous and intimidating manner causing Mum to suffer anxiety attacks at appointment time. Because of the negative affect that Dr Lu has had on my mother's well-being, we have transferred to another medical practice nearby.

I have seen Dr Hammond for the past 14 years and she has always been very accommodating, willing to do investigative practices and referrals. Also, Dr Atlas is very good with children. I do find the office staff are sometimes short and it is difficult to get through on the phone often.
