Ningaloo Reef Resort reviews
50 Location: 2 full days are enough. The area is easy accessible and there are some restaurants and tours. The hotel is at the end of the village and we had an amazing view.
Room: nice view, clean maintenance and a comfortable bed.
Bathroom: spacious and nice.
Service: friendly
Great spot perfect views, good, friendly staff, happy to help at any time. Would recommend
The best place for food in coral bay! The portions are generous, delicious and at a reasonable price. French waitress’s were superb!
Need to train bar staff better as they had no idea what they were doing and no-one to help them. Gorgeous location with beautiful views.
Great location well worth paying the extra money for a room with an ocean view.
-On arrival staff member was friendly and welcoming.
-Accomodation itself was pretty dated but clean and obviously cared for.
- Bar and restaurant at the resort we’re great.
- Beach right across the road was great for snorkelling as there was plenty of coral and marine life as soon as you get in the water.
Wouldn’t hesitate to come back.
The accommodation and location were stunning. The staff so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended
Nice enough but rooms really need a reno! Bathroom is quite gross, shower had mould and the bathroom door is really dirty. Walls are so thin, I could here the tv in next room all night. They do keep the music down in the pub which is good, as we were close to it. Great location, just really needs some TLC and insulation!
It hasn't changed from the last time I was here over 20 years ago. Good place for an afternoon beer.
The location is great, the staff at reception are not helpful and if you need flexibility even after spending more than $3K for the week they are not accomodating and quite simply don’t care about families travelling and when flexibility may be needed. Zero option for a credit or to rebook when emergency circumstances arise.
Great location for staying at coral bay. Could do with a refurb though. It was very clean but clearly run down. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The cafe is nice with good coffee and a good spot to watch the sunset.
Probably the best place to stay in coral bay.just get a room away from the pub it can get noisy. I wouldn't eat here either, there are much better choices in town.also getting a little dated but I overheard of some refurbishments going in so that will be good
The location and customer service give this place a 5 star rating.
The rooms are dated and the layouts are weird.but I hear it's being pulled down in Jan 2022 to make way for something much more fancy. Shame, as right now it's somewhat affordable for us regular people.
In 2020 we stayed in a 2-3 person sand groper room which contained 1 double and 1 single bed. A sliding door went straight out onto the ground floor of the resort and a back door straight into the bathroom, awesome for coming back from the beach.
All rooms have a functional kitchenette which is very handy.
This time 6 of us stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which is on the upper storey. The layout makes no sense. You enter from the back, through the bedroom (which has a queen bed), into the main area which has kitchenette, a bunk bed which is double with single on top, and a sofa bed. The balcony comes off this main living area and contains a small table with only 4 chairs so we ended up moving the table from inside the apartment onto the balcony so we could all sit there.
There's no way to come back from the beach and not get sand all over the house and through the bedroom. There's also no way to get out of the apartment without going through the bedroom. It was really annoying. Fortunately the friendly staff gave us an extra bath mat to help keep sand at the door.
Like the place. Close to everything. Friendly staff. My partner and I came at a relatively quiet time. Would be great for a family holiday.
The rooms are average. Nothing fancy, clean and with good airconditioning, they get the job done. However let's be real, if you're staying here you're not here for luxury (you should be spending your time outdoors!), What you're here for is the location, which is a solid 10/10. This resort is 30seconds to the beach. You can see the sunsets from your door, and if you're lucky to be there on a Thursday night you get to see a live local band. The atmosphere is amazing, very friendly and lots of community vibes.
Overall an amazing place to spend time in the spectacular bay!
It's one of the best places to stay in Coral bay. It is dated. It supposed to be closed for Redevelopment last year but it is still open (which is a good thing in my opinion as the borders still closed). Staff are doing their best to accommodate guest's needs (thank you Toby!) Pool can be a bit cold, but this year it was warm enough. There is a bar, small bottle shop and a restaurant on site. Very close to the beach.
My friends and I stayed here and not only was the room service and location fantastic but the customer service was wonderful. Adrianne at reception was very friendly and enthusiastic, helping us immediately to fix our tour cancellation. The bar staff at the resort were also positive and engaging, making our overall stay very memorable!
Fantastic customer service, the view across the bay is great. And the on site facilities are good, bar, pool, food.with a two minute walk to the water
The food was not great.we ate breakfast, lunch & dinner here a few times the week we were visiting & each meal was unfortunately disappointing.it’s obvious the budget is tight - the quality & portion size is letting the restaurants reputation down.
Great place to stay.
We had beautiful views of grounds including the pool, bar and beach.
The beach is literally 100 metres from the room we stayed in and it is the most pristine beach I've seen in years.
Friendly staff but very basic tired rooms that could do with an upgrade, aside from that everything is there including pub, tab and cafe, location is perfect and beautiful.
