Nanutarra Roadhouse reviews
67Great sausage rolls. Convenient stop on the way to Tom Price, a bit pricey at $38 a night given the quality of amenities and lack of camp kitchen etc. Amenities were rudimentary but clean.
Pricing aside, the roadhouse offers a welcome break with clean toilets and great food. Burgers / schnitzels taste homemade with grilled ciabatta buns and the chips are crispy.
I stopped there to camp at their caravan park but could not pay till the following week I was totally refused and was told that too many had ripped them off so they wouldn't do that any more I also told them that I was very low on fuel and probably wouldn't make it to the next town but they where very unsympathetic to my predicament. I then asked how far to the next 24hr rest stop and was told about 5kays down the road I couldn't find one but luckily I made to Onslow I'm not angry about it because the manager was only doing his job but I felt very let down by the whole experience.
Bit expensive for what it was, but hey, they're in the middle of nowhere so they can charge what they like. Very average food. Nice people, clean and tidy room.
We would love to thank Julia and the team for helping us out when our trailer axel which busted on the way to Karratha, we were fortunate enough to leave our trailer there at the camp grounds with power till we had a chance to fix it.
They helped me with tools and also letting me use the work shop to fix the trailer.
Thank you so much for your help.
Staff were really helpful and friendly, egg and bacon pie was fantastic and so were the burgers, ammenities were clean and has a nice caravan park out back with grassed areas.
Great place to stop and have a feed, meals are pretty good, good sized portions and reasonably priced. Fuel is fairly reasonably priced. They have overnight short term accommodation as well, so you can certainly pull the camper or van up for the night no problems at all. The place is kept fairly clean and tidy and is looked after. I always stop here on any of my travels and will continue to do so in the future. Cheers Nanutarra Roadhouse
Overpriced fuel and food. Toilets are clean and there's a little undercover area with some grass to stretch the kids or pets.
Large road house with accommodation, heaps of parking, large selection of decent food, with a selection of home made sauage rolls and other junk food. They also had a selection of home made salads, thai food, wraps and sandwiches.
Had water, air and toliets.
Excellent road house to stop. Breakfast was the best we've had for ages. Freshly cooked and packed with ingredients. Thumbs up for that. Lovely and cold inside and clean. Staff very nice and toilets clean. One of the better roadhouses.will definetly drop in again.
Is a decent roadhouse. Lots of kitschy stuff about for the family to take a gander at while stretching the legs in the middle of a long drive.
An important place to stop on the long trek north.and if you can spare the time.get over to the river.dry and running, it’s spectacular.
Clean, great welcome from friendly staff. Good place to break the journey &/or use as a stopover. One of the better Roadhouses.
I had forgotten about the black budgies. I had a car full when I left. Fruit salad was good. Matso ginger beer was delightful.
Pretty neat and tidy roadhouse. Prices are a little steep, but can be expected being 300Km from any major town.
Visited to fuel up on the way from Karratha to Coral Bay, clean amenities and good service as well as some great hot food for the drive.
Ridiculous expensive. Should be a rule. 3.50 for a popsicle ice block. Totally caught off guard.
We will be taking food ourselves going home.
Good food and very clean.
Because where it is you will pay more then other places.
Stayed 2 nights in a room.
We stayed 1 night in our van. Good spot, drinking water available and power. We were able to use our air con which was good as it was about 38 degrees. Nice shop. Fuel expensive. Amenities very basic and coloured by bore water but clean. Right next to the Ashburton River which wasn't flowing, but had some water in it. Nice views from the bridge. Friendly staff. Dogs OK.
Nice food, although a little pricey it is reasonable considering how far removed this roadhouse is. Pleasant staff and a nice area
