Mullaloo Beach Hotel reviews
88I’m here now waiting 40 minutes after closing time for $4 chips and a crab stick this is unacceptable. I’m so angry
Pretty disappointing for the price. The fillet of fish resembled battered cardboard and the chips were dripping with oil. I think anywhere else would be better. I'll grab a sausage at Bunnings next time.
Disappointed in the time we had to wait!
Please check your hygiene practices! Gloves! Don’t touch your hair, wear hair nets! Basic stuff!
Great views, lovely staff. Food was amazing. Really good Vegan options and non vegan. Looking forward to my next visit
Was good for an afternoon drink and feed. Service good and I enjoyed my burger. Good outlook from decking.
Great view here. We've not been to our local, the Mullaloo Beach Hotel for well over a year. It used to be that service wasn't good and the meals weren't worth the cost. We went tonight and what a change! Two pages on the menu devoted to vegan food (we had dish each from it and so tasty). The service was quick and attentive. We're back onboard.
Impromptu dinner after work. New Vegan menu and we both chose from it. Absolutely outstanding! We aren't even Vegan but we are certainly coming back to try more. Service has improved so much since we were last here. Very impressed.
Extremely overpriced the only reason we went here was for the vegan options for my daughters bday. The pumpkin pasta did not have any flavor and it was a extremely small size, a handful of pasta for $35. It was ridiculous. Then a bottle of coke was knocked over onto me by the waitress, not impressed as we weren’t even offered a replacement nor were we given a napkin to wipe it all off, had to ask for one. The garden salad was $9 which consisted of two tiny tomatoes 4 thin slices of onion and a few mesclun leaves. I won’t be back
Absolutely blown away by the vegan options- 10/10. These guys really know how to do vegan food the proper way. Will be coming back to try the rest of the vegan menu and we were also super happy with the service. Very friendly staff and food came out in 10 minutes! Highly recommend.
Found this by accident - Best hoki fish and great batter - cooked till golden and crispy with no fishy taste! Would have been perfect if the chips are not soggy but best hoki!
Save your money! Way Overpriced! Hoki is Disgusting. Batter is Disgusting. Staff are lost boys. DO NOT GET THE DIM SIMS! Oily rip off.
The worst Fish and Chips ever. My order was messed up and was given to the other customer, the customer returned after 2 minutes and the staff just waited a few seconds then gave that food to me. I then asked for my sauces but the staff gave it to me in an annoyed manner. I then asked for chicken salt which I told the staff upon ordering to be with my fries but the staff sprinkled the chicken salt annoyingly! I will not come back to this establishment anymore with mates!
View is good no doubt. Cleanliness very average (cuttlery etc) Very basic daily service. Apartment located above a very loud pub so better get rooms on 3rd floor. If you do self catering then note very basic utensils e.g. No coffee maker (just a kettle.). No beach towels despite mentioned in the hotel handbook. Overall great beach spot while hotel need to improve dramatically.
It use to be a $10 burger and chips now its $15. Still a god burger though. Happy hour included spirits which was fantastic! If only they had more bar staff on for the big number of people
Overpriced small portions.how do they get away with it? No staff service - self service which would be ok if prices were lowered. $30 for chicken caesar.coffee took ages but was a good coffee.
Food is good pub fare and atmosphere/view is beautiful.no table service is always a downer, but understandable for a beach pub.
Snail service waited 40mins, asked where my order was and hadn't even started it, wasnt even that busy, particularly compared to some of the other fish & chip shops that fly orders out the door. Definitely the last time as seems to be a repeat experience every time we come. Only saving grace was a refund at the end!
Ragu fettucini into sunset over the Indian Ocean. Beautiful suburb bar & Restaurant in a beautiful suburb
Why has the Mullaloo Beach Hotel turned into a child care centre, I love the MBH but noticed over the past few parents bringing the kids into the public bar. Tonite was a great example kids on a table parents drinking on another table. I guess as long as you spend money nothing else matters, lift your game MBH and no kids in the public bar. By the way I am sure sure liquor license would state very clearly NO Children in the public bar.
Enough salt to make the Dead Sea jealous. Far out, you know what I really like on my chips is potato but wowsers I don’t think I’ve ever had so much salt in my life before. And that was after emphasising LIGHTLY salted please. The potato scallop is not a scallop rather potato cake. Big difference. Then there’s the price. Hoo ya are they expensive. Customer service average at best. The only saving grace was at least they got the crispy part right in the chips. But yeah. I won’t be back. Overpriced salt is what that place is.did I mention the salt, it must be going out of fashion or something.
