Mullaloo Beach Hotel

Not an ideal place for a family get together. It was hot, there were Flys, food was ordinary and had to flag staff down to get a drink.

Pissing down outside when we went, but warm and cosy inside, good food, helpful staff and surprisingly good views, given the weather

Please bring back your old menu. This place used to be so good but the food is a let down now. Why have you changed the bruschetta? ! It used to be so fresh with the tomatoes and onion but has now changed to a roasted vegetable version which seems like it just out of a pre made anti-pasti mix. All the pasta dishes are now with a cream sauce - no option for a tomato based sauce which is disappointing. Bring back the pizzas! They used to be sooo good and surely were really popular.

The service was amazing, food was nice but the toilets were very dirty and the table we got sat at hadn't been wiped down, but absolutely beautifull location and view

4 of us went tonight to have dinner with huge expectation that we had from previous experience.
We had recommended our friends and work colleges. From previous experience we found exceptional customer service, the food was refreshing, our entre was sent out, we had enough time to enjoy before our mains arrived.
And we brought our parents out again tonight.
But tonight it’s huge disappointment.
2 of us ordered lady’s night deals which contain a glass a champagne, sourdough bread with dipping sauce and an option of main.
We received our mains but no entre. We were asked if that was all, and mentioned about our entre not being brought out. We were told they would see to this. Again we waited. Half way through finishing our mains another staff member walked passed so we made an enquiry about our entre again. Again we waited
After we all finished our mains, we approached a waitress who took our orders and asked about our entré to be taken away if possible.
Finally we received it but only ONE serve.
There were 2 of us ordered the deals.
It was the continuous run around that has brought this low review. Not the fact that there was a mix up. But the fact that it took near on 30 minutes for our order to be corrected. The fact that we had to ask three times to correct our order. We felt as though tonight’s service was not to the standard that we felt the first night we experienced your restaurant. Mistakes happen. But it was the way you followed this up that affected our experience.

Was meant to be staying in the apartments at the end of the month for a weekend of surf life saving comps. Booked several months ago as accommodation books out fast for these events. To have them cancel two weeks prior so they could take on long term accommodation to make more money. Poor business would not recommend to anyone.

Had the most amazing weekend at the mullaloo beach hotel. Stayed in the apartments upstairs where the view is breathtaking!
I also had my 50th celebration downstairs and the staff, the food and every detail was perfect.
Amazing service I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thankyou was a celebration to remember

When you have a table of 5 and only one meal is okay it’s not a good look! If your keen on steak sandwich with boiled steak, unmelted cheese and a semi fresh Turkish roll not toasted look no further! If you like a chicken parmigiana that is dry, been waiting for sometime going cold because the kitchen clearly can’t time the time it takes to the cook meals right look no further as for the salad, did you use the dessert topping instead of dressing, like what was that? I like eating some weird food but wow, just wow!
Such a shame for such a basic meal how can you muck it up so bad! The chicken burger was average too no flavour and it was supposed to be as for the chips cold and oily.
The waiter must of clearly know we weren’t happy when she collected the plates full of food as she didn’t ask if everything was okay (not her fault but still it’s part of your job to ask) absolute rip off for the price. The 1 star is for the drinks they went alright.

Very impressed with the pub. Staff were friendly and very pro active and efficient at serving. Food was pretty good (I had a burger and chips)

The atmosphere was great for our first date the food was tasty and the wine was good staff are very good and made sure that everything was okay while we were eating our meals.

Very ordinary dinner on Valentine day.
Waitress wasn't sure if fish of the day was hoki or barramundi.
She then went & checked & it was red emperor
We placed our order & after waiting 45minutes i asked the waitress how long our dinner would be.
She went & checked and it had not been ordered.
Then she asked what our order was, unbelievable!
We placed the order again & was told it would be ready in 7 minutes
Dinner arrived in 7minutes, the fish & potatoes had obviously been nuked and my partners chicken was the same.
Both dinners were barely edible & below standard
Definitely would not recommend the very expensive food

MBH restaurant was nice, good sized portions of food, staff very friendly. The food was ok - octopus and fries weren't great but seafood spinach pasta very yummy.
The hotel was nice as well - very spacious and nice view, although I feel like for the amount paid per night you could probably stay somewhere nicer.

The American Burger $26! For one of the worst burgers I've ever had. No love went into it at all, and presented like it was just dropped on to the plate with a handful of chips.

We had our Xmas lunch at your hotel and while the food was really good the service was not on par.

First while various staff acknowledged me on arrival it took a while to get finally seated. The waiter gave us the menus, but not water was provided, no questions for drinks was asked. The flagged down a young female who told us she can’t take the alcohol order - what is 100% fine - but she didn’t sent us a colleague either. This happened another 2 times during that lunch. I had to go to the bar to ask for service.
My chair was broken and ruined my blouse, I had to asked twice to get a new chair and nobody even blinked as to my comment of the ruined garment.
Everytime we liked to order we had to chase the staff. No salt and pepper was on the table. We had 6x pasta as mains and we had to steal the fork and spoons from another table. Nobody checked if we have enough cutlery. The dirty cutlery from the entree was left on the table!
Overall it seemed that nobody was in charge of the room, no waiter had allocated tables, nobody cared, no structure was in place.
Very sorry that a good meal was ruined by the bad service.

First visit. Didn't go so well. Happy hour half-price, which allegedly included all bottled beers, didn't include Carlton Zero. We were both driving and had to pay more for non-alcoholic beverages than alcoholic beverages. We ordered food which was Crispy Chicken Wings with Hot Sauce and the Steak Sandwich. The wings were crispy and spicy️ but the steak sandwich was more like a roast beef and gravy roll which I suspect was largely pre-prepared before assembly. At $28, it's the most expensive beef and gravy roll I've ever had! The true test of any venue experience is, will I return? In the case of the Mullaloo Beach Hotel the answer is no.

I buy fish and chips from here around 5 times throughout the year for our family of 4, always quality fish and chips. The oil is never disgusting and always fresh. Yes a little more pricey compared with other fish and chips but I'd rather pay the price and get decent food.
The youngsters who serve are always well mannered as well as hardworking. They are a credit to the owner.

Worst fish and chips I have ever had. Greasy chips and over battered fish, awful!
We usually go to Mindarie fish and chippy but thought we would have a change.
Will never make that mistake again.

Disappointing! Calamari was like rubber and the fish had a metallic taste to it - all for a neat $55! Took it back and I got a "Sorry about that, would you like anything else? " No thank you, but maybe a barf bag please.

Went for breakfast and never again. Hair in all 3 meals ordered, no butter for toast, no salt and pepper offered, no one asked us how meals were once meal given. 3 other tables, 3 waitress staff but only interested in cleaning rest of restraunt. When asked going to lay for meal told about experience. Only offered a $10 discount for poor experience
